When darkness took over Kris as he let lose his last breath, it wasn't long till he was awoken by a bright light.

The intense light was growing closer and closer towards him, as if trying to run him over.

He tried to get out of the way, yet his body wouldn't listen to him, or was it that he didn't have a body, for it to listen?

When the awaited collision happen, he braced himself for the impact. But instead of being thrown by the resulting force, he was sucked in by the force instead.

As if he was tugged into a straw from the navel, and was taken for a whirl across the multiverse.

Until he was suddenly held in place, then Kris started falling... The next time he wakes up, it would be a whole new journey.

When Kris performed his trick, the system went haywire.

It performed all sorts of scanning, sniffing, and backtracking to find Kris but to no avail.

Aside from knowing that Kris was alive, and that he received a substantial amount of points before disappearing, it could not find anything else about him.

Unbeknownst to the system, even our protagonist doesn't know where he is.

When Kris came to, the first thing he saw was a white ceiling, coupled by a beeping noice.

As his senses adjust to his new environment, the first thing he did was to look around. Seeing a heart monitor beside him, an IV drip, a green curtain wall, and upon looking down, he saw he was wearing a light blue scrub suit.

He quickly assumed that he was in some sort of hospital.

When he tried to sit up, Kris realized that he was strapped to the bed. So he could only lift this head to further look around. What he saw solidified his conclusion.

In front of him were hospital beds arranged in a row, like that of a field clinic.

He began to think back on what happened so far...

What he remember last was, going through what seemed to be the space tube like thing from that movie, Stargate.

But, other than that the only thing he could remember is his name Kris.

Not long after he was doing his little retrospection, a female doctor came to talk to him.

"How are you feeling?" ask the doctor

"Fine I guess?!" said Kris as he tugs on the restraints.

"I'm sorry you have to be strapped in... when they brought you in we were told you might be a flight risk and might lash out... But, don't worry... we usually don't take other people's words into prior conciderations."

"We like to get to know our patients ourselves."

"So, why don't you relax... I'll be removing the restraints a little later. But, first let us do our introductions... My name is Dr.Cecilia Reyes, and welcome to Milbury Hospital."

"Kris, I would like to say I'm glad to be here... but, I don't even know why I'm here."

"Well, what the reports say is that you are a terrorist. It says that you carried a bomb in a busy street, and detonated it... but somehow you survive. And was brought here... But, we have a different theory... we think, that you are a very gifted young man that had just stumbled upon your unique gift." said the female Doctor.

"Then, what else do the files say about me?" Kris eager to know more...

"Nothing that we would care about, and neither should you... Now, tell me... what do you know about mutants?"

asked the Dr. Reyes

Kris, just shrugs at the thought trying not to laugh at the ridiculous notion the doctor was trying to imply. In the end. He just succumbed to the waiting gaze of the doctor and decide to patronize her a little.

"That they exist?!" still a hint of incredulity in his voice.

"Well skeptical as you might be... Kris, you are now in a facility made for young mutants as yourself... to help you control your powers and hopefully lead you to a life that is part of the rest of society." said the doctor.

"Now If you will allow me to remove the restraints, I'll be taking you to your new accommodations. Which will be your home, until you graduate from this facility."

The doctor, removed the restraints and led Kris down the hall, on the way she explained a few things about the place.

"The facility was designed to house a total of 200 individuals at one time, but since the decline of new mutants it became less and less. We have a cafeteria, communal baths, classrooms, the med bay, and a wide outdoors area for you to explore."

"Currently their are eight newcomers along with your self and four others that have been here for a week now. The others have been settled in, already a while ago."

"Don't worry you will be meeting them soon enough in tomorrows session."

At this time, they have finally reached the room he was assigned in.

"Ok, this is you... And since home land security took all your belongings into custody, we have taken the liberty to provide you with a few clothes and other necessities. The bathroom is at the end of this hall, clean up and rest we'll see you tomorrow."

The last few words didn't even register in Kris's mind as he was caught up by the previous words...

"Home Land Security took all your belongings."

'Then why do I have this black watch on my left wrist?'

(A/N: New Year, New Arc, New Volume... Why was Kris not in God's Lobby? Well, we will find out...)
