105 Ch.105 Leaving Gifts...
Kris stood up, and took out his gun for the first time. It was a custom Berreta 92F unlimited ammo version that was coated pure black with the words,"NERF THIS!" written in victorian cursive letters on the side in silver.
Closing his eyes to focus on where the licker will appear.
It was at this time that a mutated licker came crawling down the church's ceiling. It was black, and bigger than your usual licker.
When Kris was about to start shooting, a motorcycle revs up, and goes thru the church's stained glass windows landing in front of the licker.
The driver, being no other than Alice, takes out a shot gun from over her shoulder, and fires at the licker from a foot away blowing its head to smithereens.
Kris could only shake his head at this, why would you need plot armor when your husband is the movie's director.
He couldn't help but lament over Jill's role in this movie.
His train of thought ended there because two more lickers came crawling out of the shadows. Kris didn't let Alice kill steal this time around as he shot 3 consecutive bullets that curved over to the two lickers.
Which hit them at the side of their heads, not giving them a chance to dodge. Kris was able to curve his shots with the ample use of his TK.
Not giving him enough time to marvel, in his accomplishments, Jill came running from the other side of the hall shouting,"There's more of them back here!"
When he turned to her direction, he saw 2 more lickers coming after her, mutated ones this time. Which is why Jill wasn't able to kill them off on her own. As this type of licker needs a substantial amount of damage to put down, or else they'll just heal up and adapt.
He took out his magical lightsaber, and intercepted the beasts. Channeling PSI force thru out his body, he move twice as fast to hack the lickers mid lunge. When they hit the ground they're nothing but medium rare slabs of meat.
Seeing that all the threats have been eliminated, he deactivated his lightsaber, and walked over towards Jill who did a forward roll the moment the lickers lunge at her.
Helping her up, he said,"We should get you a bigger gun. (A/N:Or a producer for a husband.) Or at least find you a shotgun, 'cause the beasties are only gonna get harder to kill."
"Yeah, well that's what I have you for. Don't tell me, the Knights in shining armor are off duty during an apocalypse." She said with a smirk walking off towards the newcomer.
Kris let out a growl at that blatant provocation.
Jill walked over to Alice who just got off her motorcycle, saying,"Thanks for the assist. My name's Jill, that's Peyton, Terri, and the terminator over there is Kris. I don't know the other guys name, his sort of an a*s."
Alice raised an eyebrow after hearing Kris's name, she turned to stare at Kris. Noticing Alice was inspecting him. He looked back at her, giving her a two fingered salute saying,"Long time no see, Alice."
Alice's eyes widen after realizing who Kris was, she then went closer to Kris saying,"I thought you died, in the hive... We even went back to the main computer room. But you guys weren't there anymore."
Kris shrug saying,"We found away out thru the computer's cooling system, we lost Jie and Xiaoyi along the way. You might get to see Zheng, and Lan there here as well."
"You look so different..." muttered Alice.
"I woke up like this... So your guess is as good as mine." Kris said brushing off the topic.
Kris then receive a message from Shearpike, it would seem the ruckus they caused have drawn the near by zombies towards their location.
Kris walked towards the door, checking the situation outside. He then called out to everyone saying,"We need to get moving, it seems that they're being drawn to our location."
Kris lead them to a side entrance rather the back like in the movie avoiding the whole grave yard scene.
With the help of Shearpike, they were able to navigate thru alley ways, and reach the white building area with a bunch of pay phones around that's shown in the movie.
Kris always thought this place was just created for the sole purpose, so that Dr. Ashford could contact Alice, and the others.
Meanwhile Umbrella dispatches their Nemesis program to use the now ruined city as it's testing ground. When it spotted remaining S.T.A.R.S. operatives, and L.J.
The Umbrella higher ups sets the thirteen members of S.T.A.R.S as a target to test the Nemesis combat protocols.
They spotted the monstrocity from a far, thinking its one of the zombies that are running rampant in tge city, they open fire on him. The Nemesis tanks their bullets before he guns them down, sparing only L.J.'s life. After he drops his weapons to the ground.
[General POV]
Dr. Charles Ashford, has repeatedly refused extraction by Umbrella until he has located and rescued his daughter Angela.
Deciding to take matters into his own hands, he hacks into Raccoon City's network of closed circuit cameras, and determines she is hiding out in her school.
While looking around the city for survivors he could task to save his daughter, contacts Alice and Kris's group.
He informs them about Umbrella's method of sanitizing Raccoon City. Which they will accomplish by dropping nuke in the city center, he then offers to arrange for an evacuation in exchange for rescuing Angela.
Kris just watch as events play thru, eagerly anticipating the time he will make his move.
Which came after Alice explained who the Dr.Ashford was, and how finding his daughter is their best chance of getting out of the city.
The group decided to find the doctors daughter, but when they were crossing the overpass shown in the movie, Kris's danger sense went wild.
Deciding to grab Jill who was nearest to him, and jump off the over pass in a split second. The moment he went off the side a rocket came hurtling towards the group.
Alice also saw this. But it was too late, all she could do is copy what Kris did and jump off the overpass.
Payton manage to tackle Terri aside, but the scottish guy wasn't so lucky. As the rocket got him straight on, Peyton was also caught by some shrapnel which killed him on the spot.
The luckiest of the three was Terri, aside from a little scrape, and being a little singe here and there she was fine.
Not long after the rocket was sent their way, it was followed by a hail of bullets. Kris dodged, deflected, and blocked as he took Jill with him to look for cover.
"Alice take Terri with you, this monster is dead set on killing us. It doesn't seem to care about you, Go! And tell the world what happend here! Go!"
Kris didn't give Alice a chance to reply as he lured the Nemesis away from them.
When Alice took Terri and left the site, Kris gave a wide grin.
Looking at the Nemesis, and hefting the unconscious Jill over his shoulder. He cast invisibility on both of them, and faded in the background.
He commanded the Shearpike to look for a good hiding spot, which was coincidentally the clock tower in the game story line.
He brought Jill there, and task the Shearpike to look after her for the moment. As he went back to face the Nemesis.
Taking out a fist size bomb from his storage belt. The examined it before linking it to a remote detonator. These are products made out of the left overs he collected over the previous movies, including the one from Team India's android.
He dash towards the location of the nemesis, when he reached the creature. He began to coat the hand holding the bomb with psionic energy, giving it the property of sharpness.
He then channeled psi force all over his body to grant himself the swiftness he needs to complete this task.
Without further ado, he stood up and sped towards the clueless nemesis. The moment he crossed pass it he plunged his hand on its back just below its rib cage.
When he felt his hand successfully penetrate, he then let go of the bomb he held. leaving it within the creatures body, and as if nothing happened he ran pass the nemesis. This all occured in a blink, which didn't even register in the sensors placed in the nemesis's body.
He then return to the clock tower just in time for Jill to wake up.
All the while thinking,'Now that I have some insurance its time to get things moving.'
