Back To Resident Evil

"Unlocking leader position for Team China. Genetic constraint check. Stage 0. Evolving by one stage. Current stage of the genetic constraint is stage 1. Fusion begins." God's cold voice sounded as Tie Ta was in between planes.

"Fusion complete. Obtained leader position. Unlocked the first stage of the genetic constraint. Mission completed for Team China." God's voice sounded again.

When Tie Ta finally opened his eyes, he was standing inside God's dimension.

The leader position wasn't just a title. The leader could quickly search for exchangeable items in the system. Like Tie Ta's Ghoul Bloodline and T-virus mutation, it would show him abilities, weapons, and magic best for the bloodline. This could prevent wasted points and rewards. One of the benefits the leader brought to the team. Though, Tie Ta could always go off the script and evolve in his own direction, using the system merely as an advisor.

Second, the leader had the power to know what movie was coming up next. Then they could prepare suitable weapons and study the plot in advance.

Third, the leader had access to more information, like Tie Ta received information on a total of 17 teams. Teams were separated into regions according to the continents in ancient times. Team China contained the most extensive land and was also one of the biggest teams. There were also two special teams. God copied the genes of players with the potential to form team Devil. This was supposedly the strongest team among all. This team was used to test what environment was more suitable for evolution.

The other team was optional. Whenever a person became a leader, God would ask if this person wanted to join this team. So it contained the strongest member of every team. Of course, some people would refuse to join. Every member of this team had entered a genetically unlocked mode. The team was named Team Celestial. It was also formed as a test for evolution.

Tie Ta took a step forward as God asked if he wished to join team Celestial.

"I refuse." He replied.

=======================

"Hey, Rei. How about you go get cleaned up and rest. The Great Orchestrator of Development and I have a few things to discuss." Tie Ta spoke as he dropped his pack and walked towards the orb of light.

Reika picked the pack up and moved towards the room, leaving Tie Ta alone.

Tie Ta smiled at the sphere of light. "GOD, how are you feeling?" he asked.

GOD remained silent, and Tie Ta chuckled. "You can't tell me. Because you operate on a set of parameters established by your creator. You aren't a true AI, but your functions are nearly omnipotent because your creator was probably a cosmic stud."

Tie Ta spoke aloud as he was the only one present. "I knew you were an AI. But never thought a complete thought unless you were rouge or something. Zhang Jie must have known too. That's why I had to kill him. I don't know why he was keeping knowledge like the next mission to himself. But I never trusted him. Exchange for one joint."

A joint appeared in Tie Ta's hand. With his Ki, he heated the end until it caught fire, then took a long drag. Once he exhaled a cloud of smoke, he continued.

"The way you are designed, if used properly, could be a great asset. So how about you clear some things up for me. How do you select the difficulty of the mission?"

"I select difficulty according to the strongest member of the team."

"When I became leader, I got information about created beings' mandatory participation. I can free Reika with a D-rank Reward. But what happens if she doesn't go?" asked Tie Ta.

"She will simply disappear. All things outside of the transportation beam at the moment of transportation will be erased."

"Well, fuck..." said Tie Ta, "And these other teams, when do we face them?"

"Once Team China has acquired 3 players that have unlocked their Genetic Constraints."

"Genetic Constraints... Explain that to me."

"Unlocked Mode. Mode of Genetic breakthrough. There are five stages. You are at Stage one. Ancestral Memory. This stage allows you to operate at a higher level, both physically and mentally, and effectively shut off emotions and recall instincts from past generations."

"What are the other four stages?"

"Stage 2: Limiter Release. Stage 3: 50 percent cognitive function. Stage 4: Mortal Plane Resonance. Stage 5: Cosmic Connect"

"I assume you were created by stage 5?"

"Incorrect."

"So there are stages above 5?"

GOD remained silent, and Tie Ta decided to leave the future for the future.

"Tell me about the next movie." Tie Ta commanded.

"Sinister(2012). Mission to be determined." GOD replied.

Tie Ta's eyes went big as a lump formed in his throat. "Will I take on the same mission even if I stay in Resident Evil for 100 days?" he asked.

"Yes. Time is slower on this plane."

Tie Ta looked at his points and did some math. With 5,506.5 points, at the cost of 50 points a day, for 100 days, it would leave him with 506.5 points remaining from the last mission. This leaves me with a total of 10,806.5 points. Tie Ta released a defeated sigh.

"I should have done this before Alien. Then it would have cost 10 points a day." he groaned. "But I need serious points before I go to Sinister."

A few moments later, Tie Ta returned to his room with a book on minting machines. He then began to create a massive mint machine and exchange 500 points worth of gold. He then put it through the mint, making one-ounce gold coins with a 'G' on one side and a Scythe on the other.

The entire process took a day, only possible in GOD's dimension. Each coin was around 1500 US Dollars. Tie Ta got the idea from John Wick. Seeing that gold is a universal currency, a coin would be more legit than nuggets and bars.

Tie Ta then packed 1000 coins neatly in a case and placed it in his tactical pack. He then loaded up ammunition for the DEM-13s and DE MHI Assualt rifle.

He went to the storage freezer and grabbed vials of Antivirus prepared specifically for this journey back into the Resident Evil universe. Lastly, he packed 12 vials of stable Type Alison T-Virus.

"You should really get a storage device," said Reika.

Tie Ta looked at her and just shrugged. She put on a sweet smile and tossed him a small bag of First Aid supplies.

"For the cast," she said," Even if they get the Antivirus, you can't have them bleeding out."

"Thanks, Rei." he said, "And I know you want to come, but I have to figure a few things out."

"I know. I'll be here when you get back."

Tie Ta nodded. He then put on his pack with his two light discs. He holstered his pistols, grabbed his rifle, and picked up the first aid kit before moving towards the door.

Before he walked out, Reika moved to stop him, raised to the tips of her toes, and gave him a long, heartfelt kiss. Tie Ta smiled at the little beauty, and she released a heavy exhale.

"Please don't die." she said, " I would hate to not exist again. And creator aside, I kind of like you, T."

"I like you too, gorgeous." Tie Ta replied as he ran his middle finger from her brow, gently down the bridge of her nose. He then stroked her smooth alabaster cheek with back his fingers while Reika lightly shut her eyes and enjoyed his touch.

Reika grabbed his hand and gave it a kiss before saying, "Go get 'em, Tiger."

Tie Ta winked before leaving. Reika leaned against the room's door frame and watched as Tie Ta walked into the beam that would take him. She didn't cry, shut her eyes, or look away. Reika worried, but her faith was much more potent. She knew he would come back, and she showed that faith by sending him off.

In the beam of light, God's voice sounded, "Warning! Your allotted time and destination in the resident evil universe overlap with a movie plot. If you proceed, you may be dragged into the plot. Do you wish to continue?"

"Why warn me?" Tie Ta asked.

"The plot was not generated by me. Therefore it is unofficial and during your... vacation."

Tie Ta laughed as GOD had to take a moment to quantify his journey to Resident Evil, "GOD. Don't worry about me. Just follow your parameters. I wish to continue."

The moment Tie Ta finished speaking, he was transported back to the Hive. He looked at his watch, and God had displayed a point chart.

On the second day, Tie Ta was driving through Raccoon City and stopped at the local library to use the computers. After mere moments he hacked into the local realtors' databases and found all of the properties sold and rented since he was last there.

He knew it would be so easy to find Rain. So out of the properties, he traced the accounts and background checks on the account holder. Only two houses on the same block came up with discrepancies and lead him back to swiss accounts and shallow identities.

"Gotchya," he muttered.

Tie Ta rose from his seat and set a course to the suburbs of Raccoon City. Tie Ta drove with the windows down and blasting 'Dreams' by Fleetwood Mac.

With Tie Ta's new characteristics, he had no reason to fear cameras and drove free and relaxed.

It was now September first, and signs of the virus were already appearing on the city's outskirts. Before long, the city will be in disarray and fall. Umbrella will move in and contain the city. Not long after, they'll blow it to bits with their experimental railgun.

Tie Ta soon arrived at the address he expected to be a safe house. But when he got there, his expectations were proven right when One and his civilian-dressed team were bringing groceries into the house.

When he parked his truck and stepped out. He walked up to the car where the medic had half of her body in the back seat with her ass sticking out. Tie Ta waited patiently until One and his team came out with guns drawn.

Tenko took off his glass and showed his searing red eyes. "I know I look a bit different. But I'm sure you all remember the guy that saved your useless asses."

The Team frowned, and Rain asked, "Ti-"

Tenko put his fingers to his lips and shushed her. He then pointed to the sky and gave her a nod.

"Holy shit, man!" Rain walked to him and gave him a big hug as the rest of the team holstered their weapons.

"I thought you died on the train. They said you disappeared, but.."

"Ahh, just a little magic trick. I'm here now. And I'm glad to see you took my advice." said Tie Ta.

"We had no choice. They sent the whole company searching for you and Anonymous." said One.

"They'll never find them. Come on, let's get inside," said Tie Ta.

Along the way, he grabbed the medic's hand and pulled her along. "Hey, June."

"Hi..." she blushed, causing Rain to bust up with laughter.

Moments later, the entire sanitation team was sitting around as Tie Ta plugged his light disc into a laptop connected to the TV. An instant later, the umbrella emblem appeared, and Tie Ta waved his hand, drawing all of the blinds to darken the room with TK.

The sanitation team looked shocked by the display.

"That display was just the beginning. Now let me share what's really going on and why I asked all of you to be here at risk of death by Umbrella."
