Contest: 1/2 - 1/8

This is an update and an apology.

I've recently become busy this week so the chapters for this tier might not be up on time. (I also have to research a little for them so there's that time.)

Just in case I've become unable to upload the chapters for this week, I'm posting the chapter concepts so that any criticism and suggestions may be given ahead of time.

Chapter 3 left the protagonist Tom in a bad shape so Spirit World arranges for him to enter a hospital. Charlene is still looking after Tom but an unexpected meeting occurs. Meeting Kurama days before the ritual, Tom requests lessons from Kurama which begins a mini-arc of lessons with Kurama. Charlene knows about this, so this may lead to Spirit World having a say.

Chapter 5 will have Tom questioning his memories and having a conversation with Kurama about a person's sense of "self." One is a person without memory, another is a demon who abandoned his demon side to be a human child. While they are having the conversation, Yusuke arrives to confront Tom about hiding Kurama's whereabouts. Yusuke leaves Tom with a warning to not get in his way.

Chapter 6 is Tom being with Kurama as they both have to decide which side they will be on. Due to getting to know Kurama like a friend, Tom is considering going against Spirit World as his mission doesn't require him being on the same side. While Kurama appreciates it, he is plenty strong to defend himself and Tom has his own reasons for working with Spirit World. The chapter ends in night with Kurama and Yusuke clashing and Tom being on the side.

Chapter 7 opens up with the full moon coming over the sky and Yusuke getting the upper hand. Just when Yusuke is about to finish Kurama, Tom holds Yusuke back and lets Kurama begin the ritual. Unfortunately, he was unaware of the price the ritual would have. When it becomes apparent Kurama will lose his life, Tom jumps in to help. Yusuke learns of Kurama's motives and steps in. The three will keep their lives and Kurama's mother survives. Tom however is threatened by Yusuke not to pull another stunt like that.

These were the chapters I have ready for the second/third tier of the contest. I hope this section of chapters passes reader's qualifications.
