1 Chapter 1

Sapheria sat alone in her study, thinking about the world as it was. Thousands of years ago Sapheria came to this planet, now known as Earth. Sapheria was one of the last known locally as a god. In ancient times she had fought and defeated many threats to this planet. Her race, known as Pyrions were the protectors of many lower races throughout the universe. The Pyrion high council had ordered 12 of their kind to this planet eons ago for just that reason.

Over the ages the others had slowly been destroyed by enemies, retired from active involvement in the planets defense, or self terminated.

The people of Earth had advanced an incredible amount in that length of time. They had invented many, many new technologies. Yet she still had to protect earth and it's people while remaining quietly anonymous. Her most recent problem had been an incident created by a race known as the Climeri. The Climeri were a race of pure energy. They fed upon world's similar to Earth's current technology level, laying waste to the planet when they were finished. She had been able to defeat the Climeri queen in single combat bringing that incursion to an end.
