After the series of notifications I felt my body change , it was quite a pleasant feeling my vision darkened for a moment or ' Magic Sense ' turned off and I slowly opened ' my ' new eyes and saw the real world for the first time , Magic Sense is great and all but it lacked that feeling of reality but this place was too dark and I had to reactivate it soon after , I then examined the new body and saw all the wounds had already healed which is also a thing to do with possession as the new body can also use my skills and I happen to have infinite Regeneration.

I say this body is amazing but it seems my possession has caused some changes like the previously white skin is now dark and the dark hair is now white and it has now become bulkier and got more muscle.

I look around the room and everything is pretty much the same except the large hole going through the walls and when you look closely you can see light at the end of the tunnel and am guessing the Railgun blew a hole to the surface so that's where am heading , I grab a sword of one of the guards and tie it around my waist , I look at a specific corpse of a guard but this one seems to be the captain and an idea pops in my head , ' I have a sword but never really tried swordsmanship maybe this guy's memories can help , that's if his soul is still available and if he has any goods skills that would be a bonus '.

" Success can I assimilate a person without possessing them ". wow my voice sounds different , I guess it's the new body.

I have nothing to loose , " yes " I replied and place my hand on the corpse's head.

I felt the change in my body and several new memories but they were quickly absorbed into Records , I felt happy for the gain and an idea to check the remaining corpses came to me but before I could , magic sense picks up multiple presences coming my way and it's not good , they are beasts of all sorts I think the rat wasn't alone , though am a bit surprised they didn't kill each other already , ' I need to get out of this shit hole as soon as possible '. not even looking back I start running towards the light and am surprised at how fast I am though it doesn't seem to be throwing of my pursuers , it seems some of them can also use magic sense how wonderful ,

" hey am a fellow monster so can we just talk about this ". they are not listening.

" Success , charge up the Railgun ". I tell while still running.

[ confirmed . . . Railgun charging . . charging . . Railgun ready ]

I turn back and see they are closing in , ' Fuck it '. I make up my mind to exterminate these pests.

" You what me , come get me ". I stop and look at them while shouting , I raise up my hand and form a gun with my fingers then give the monsters a smile as they get closer I shout.

" RAILGUN ". the hot plasma gathers into a beam at my fingertips and flies off to the monsters , they don't even have time to dodge since the beam travels at the speed of light.

" BOOM ". an explosion is heard as the beam makes it's stop , I look at where it passed and not even the ashes of most monsters are seen but there are a few resilient ones that have survived and some are even healing and retreating , I sigh in relief and lean against the wall , this beam of Railgun was more controlled than the last and the damage isn't as big as before , for the remaining monsters I got the sword I had taken from the guard's corpse and went to finish them off , since they have regeneration I just cut off the heads and see how they regenerate them back , as I was busy dealing with the monsters something caught my attention , at the end of the tunnel several figure were detected by magic sense , I had expected them to come but not so soon and I don't plan on interacting with other people this early so I need to hide and fast , ' let me just hope this guys don't have Magic Sense.

With the help of success all the aura I was releasing was railed in and I moved , hid behind one of the wall near the hole.

" Mike are you sure we should go in there it's real dark and creepy ". a female voice asked.

" what , are you scared of the dark , hahaha , what kind of adventurer are you , hahaha ". a guy laughed.

" Mike stop teasing her and she's right atleast we should report to the guild first ". another guy said.

" no way Sam , you know if we do that they will just give the quest to someone else ". Mike said.

" What if it's dangerous ". a girl asked.

" we're adventurers danger is our game , come on guy don't be scared , I believe we're strong enough to fight anything down here , and think about all the treasures we can find down here , we will be rich ". Mike said, the other three just nodded it was too good to an opportunity to turn down.

" ok fine but we better make this quick ". Sam said.

They continued to walk passed where I was hiding and I made sure they weren't looking and jumped out , ' these guys were so thoughtful that they even left me a rope but I ain't warning them about the monsters , atleast I killed most of the monsters let me just wish them good luck hehehe '. I thought as I climbed out off the pit and was finally out of the lab.
