While Liam was dealing with the ' Bear ' , back to the Lab the adventurers were having a rough time.

" I thought you guys said this is going to be eassssy ". Stella yelled , they were all running towards the exit while a horde of monsters gave chase.

You might be wondering how this happened , let me give you a run down . after Liam escaped , Sam looked back and observed the exit.

" Sam what's wrong ". a female voice asked.

He looked back and said , " Nothing Stella , I just thought someone was there ". the rest just nodded after all Sam had the best perception among all of them.

They continued inwards and it became harder to see but thank fully they had some torches , they were a bit surprised by the conditions of the place whereas they could easily guess it is some sort of underground facility , the burn marks that could clearly see it was done by one strong spell or so they thought.

" hey , Elena come check this out ". Mike called out to the blonde , petite elven girl. " can you guess what this is ". he pointed to a lump of black mass on the ground , all four of these adventurers have Unique Skills , Elena who is a magic caster had the Unique skill Scholar which helped her to learn and analyse things.

Stella a wolf beastman was a close combat fighter who uses magic and daggers had the Unique skill Enhance which boosts anything depending on the amount of magicules used.

Sam was a sort of Ninja or assassin as he doesn't fight at close range being a half elf his physically stronger than a normal human and used boomerang like daggers that return once they hit the target or turn around when they miss , he actually controlled these weapons using his Unique skill Bullseye , which not only increases his perception but also makes it that he almost never misses.

Mike the leader and the strongest among them was actually a human but he is an enlightened even though he became one recently he is still very powerful with two Unique skills Brave and Warrior all of which increase his strength and fighting skills , warriors also increases his learning abilities when it comes to fighting arts.

All these four formed the S rank party Brave and we're respected adventurers in the dynasty even though them being young was a problem some times they still had it good.

" this~this is a monster corpse ". Elena said in shock.

" hey are you sure ". the others asked.

" Yes I'm 100 percent sure it's a Pantera ". she said.

" wait you mean those A rank Panteras they have at the academy ". Sam asked in a panicked voice.

" yes , this is amazing I can't believe it was burned to this degree ". Elena continued to observe the corpse , " guys come check this out ". she called them closer and pointed at a line at the pantera's head.

" hmm ~ what are we looking at here ". Stella asked , Elena taped the line and said , " this was done by a sword ".

" You mean some one killed it the tried to burn it ". Sam asked.

" maybe they were hungry and wanted to eat it ". Stella added.

" No it was burned then stabbed ". Elana said making them all gasp in shock.

" you mean some one might have survived what ever happened here ". Mike who was the first to get out of shock asked.

" Maybe it's was the same person that cause what ever happened here ". Sam answered , and the rest just nodded at the possibility.

" but what kind of being was it , to cause so much destruction ". they wondered.

After carefully examining the area they continued forward but found more burnt bodies and ended up at another room which appeared different from the rest , after going through a destroyed door at one of the corners , the room was fairly large and covered in red marble like bricks but upon closer inspection they discovered that the marble wasn't red but had been dyed in blood the most surprising thing was even though the blood was from mostly elven and humans , there wasn't a single dead body on sight , the horrible scent made them want to throw up but they quickly composed them selves.

" guys I think we have seen enough , we should head back , now ". Elena tried to say.

" come on Elena , we can't have come this far for nothing ". Mike said , having the Unique skill brave was similar to having Pride as one of it's side effects to it's wielders it makes them stupidly brave that they get into situations which they possibly can't survive.

Though the other members of the party were aware of their leaders problems they still blindly trusted him . so those words were enough to get rid of Elena's fears , for now that is.

Calming themselves down they headed forward but Sam couldn't help but to feel like he was being observed but no matter how many times he looked back no one was their so he pushed it to the back of his head . not long after they began moving again they came across a trail of blood as if a dead body was dragged across the floor , following it they came across others like it and also seemed to be going in the same direction and despite all the signs telling them to run away they continued following the trail until it entered a hole in the ground that was covered in a slime like substance at the sides and uncomfortably dark.

" where do you think this leads ". Sam asked.

" I don't know , and I don't want to find out ". this time it was Stella who spoke up.

" let's drop a torch down there and see how far it goes ". Sam suggest and the others except Elena nodded in agreement.

Sam pulled out one of there brightest torches and held it over the hole. " on three , one . . , two . . . , three ". and released it to fall into the hole . the light went on down and in a couple of seconds it was already on the ground.

" huh , it's not as deep as I expected , come on guys let's see what's down there ". Mike said as he prepared to descend but someone tapped on his shoulder before he could.

" what is it now Elena ". it was Elena who had been quiet all along , she didn't answer but pointed at the torch in the hole , they all looked down to see what she was pointing at and they saw it , several figures approached the light from all directions and once they were close enough all the adventures could make out were their glowing eyes.

" what the fuck are those ". Stella asked.

" Who the hell knows ". Sam answered.

" Hmm ~ guys ". Elena asked in a frightened voice.

" What ". they all looked at her but she didn't say anything , they traced her eyes to see what she was looking at and there it was , multiple glowing eyes were climbing up from the tunnel and the adventurers just looked down in terror.

" run ~ run ~ guys RUN ". Sam shouted and grabbed Elena's hand and dashed off , the others who had just came out of their shock didn't need to be told that twice and quickly followed behind Sam and Elena.
