16 Dangerous Opponent!! Near Death!!

(Narrator POV)

Lucifer and Rimuru could be seen fighting an Acnologia look alike and they were struggling badly.

"Can't this bastard just fuck off!" Lucifer exclaimed while dodging a red beam that was shot from Charybdis's hand.

"I know." Rimuru could do nothing but sigh because this was the first time he met an enemy who could stand against him and Lucifer.

They were both tired, they had been fighting for hours against Charybdis and the enemy didn't even seem exhausted.

Lucifer was getting really ticked off, he in turn stopped moving and aimed directly at Charybdis's head.

"Rimuru back off." Lucifer stated calmly with a dead serious face.

Rimuru backed up and looked toward Lucifer, he noticed Lucifer's face had no playfulness on it compared to before.

He could tell Lucifer was actually worried, even though he was not showing it, Rimuru could tell through the soul corridor that Lucifer was actually unsure if they could actually win against Charybdis.

Once Lucifer shot his guns, this time the sound was silent, two projectiles instantly left his guns and reached Charybdis simultaneously.

At the last second, Charybdis's eye's widened at the power of the bullets but it was too late to even do anything.

*BOOMM*

Even though the bullets were silent, Charybdis being launched thousands of meters away deep into the forest was loud enough for the whole forest to hear.

"Nice shot Lucifer!" Rimuru smiled at Lucifer, walking up to him to give him a high five.

"Than-" While Lucifer was about to reciprocate the high five with a smile, he was cut off by,

Charybdis who instantly appeared next to him and Rimuru.

Similar to when Yami in Black Clover let his guard down at the end of the Dante fight, Lucifer did the same thing.

But it seemed like Rimuru noticed Charybdis a little faster than Lucifer and Kicked Lucifer in his side with a good amount of strength.

"Huh?" Lucifer was kicked away by Rimuru in order to protect him.

Lucifer was launched straight into a tree.

"Fuck that hurt! Did you have to kic-" Lucifer was complaining while rubbing his neck but once he looked up back towards Rimuru, he stopped talking.

He was speechless.

In front of him currently, Rimuru was being stabbed through his chest by Charybdis and was split in half by his claws.

Blue goo splattered everywhere.

Lucifer slowly walked up to the splattered goo and just looked at Rimuru's goo with an emotionless gaze.

"Rimuru?"

"Rimuru!?"

"Stop joking! I know your there, stop playing with me!" Lucifer just nervously chuckled with crazed eyes.

But he noticed Rimuru wasn't responding and was just laying splattered around the ground.

"It can't be, I must be going crazy right!? RIGHT!?" Lucifer exclaimed looking at Charybdis with a crazy face, who was just growling like an animal.

*BOOMMM!*

An aura exploded out of Lucifer, everything around him was being destroyed.

His aura was detected by multiple of the top beings in the world but Lucifer himself didn't know that.

(Unknown Location)

"Hmm." A certain red-haired demon in his ice castle looked in a certain direction.

"HoHo, it seems like things are getting interesting." The red-haired demon stated with a mysterious smile.

(Unknown Dimension)

"Hmm? What is this aura?" The shadow of a dragon-like being could be seen, deep in the dark dimension.

Its red seering eyes looked with interest toward a certain direction.

"Maybe I will find a worthy foe who isn't Veldenava, once I escape this damned dimension!" It stated angrily but it soon just sighed and closed its eye going back to its slumber, waiting until he can be freed.

(Certain Emperor POV)

A golden-haired individual in royal clothes could be seen sitting on his throne with an emotionless gaze.

He looked in a certain direction with a frown.

"Why is such a powerful aura coming from the Great Forest of Jura? I thought Veldora was sealed."

Looking to his left, he sees a beautiful blue-haired woman with a voluptuous body in a traditional Japanese outfit.

His emotionless face instantly turns to a fake happy face.

"I missed you." He stated with a smile.

"Me too and to answer your question about my brother, he has disappeared since a couple months ago, so it can't be him." The beauty replied.

"Aren't you worried about him?" The man questioned.

"He's a true dragon he'll be fine, all the people who are stronger than him have no reason to hurt him either." She replies with a smile.

"I guess so. But we'll need to fasten our plans for the attack, there is no space for mistakes. " The so-called emperor stated with a serious face.

The beauty just nodded at his words.

(Benimaru POV)

We've finally dealt with all these mini monsters, even though they are small, they were incredibly powerf-

What is this ominous aura!?

Is this Lord Lucifer?!

Also, why does the connection with Lord Rimuru feel so weak?

I look towards Shion and the others, they all noticed the same thing I did.

Everyone looks worried.

Just like me, they can sense the anger and aura of Lord Lucifer.

"We need to make sure our Lords are okay!! Some of you will stay while others will go." I tell everyone else.

Me, Shion, Ranga, and Gabiru head towards the ominous aura.

Ranga would usually be with Lord Rimuru but he said he was kicked out of his shadow for some reason.

'But please let us make it on time.' I desperately plea.

(Back To Lucifer)

"HAHAAHA!" Lucifer laughed like a crazed man.

Not knowing that he had alerted people because of his outburst which would change the plot in the near future.

Unknown to Lucifer, his strength increased temporarily dramatically because he was putting all he had into it, using his Ultimate Skill to enhance his overall power, and using every bit of Magicules he has in his reserves.

He eventually stopped laughing and looked towards Charybdis.

"I needed that laugh, you know what! Fuck Holding Back! Why the fuck would I even hold back? Am I some dumb mc who the author just nerfed, or are you just that strong!?" Lucifer exclaimingly asked.

While Lucifer was laughing earlier, he noticed Rimuru was just attacked with a physical attack and that it wasn't a spiritual attack, so Rimuru should be completely fine, just unconscious for now, so he somewhat calmed down but was still angry with himself and Charybdis.

Lucifer opened up his arms and his Pistols appeared back in his hands, he agreed to stop holding back inwardly, he aimed and shot immediately.

Charybdis sensed the danger from Lucifer and brought his arms up to block the bullets.

But even though he blocked the bullets he was still launched even farther than before, he was sent thousands of meters away but this time the bullets pierced straight through him, making him shriek in pain but his regeneration started to kick in.

Lucifer didn't give him a break though, he immediately Shunpoed next to him, and punched him in the face with Magicules, strengthening it even more.

But Charybdis continued to regenerate and tank the attacks.

"No! You! Don't!" Lucifer ignored Charybdis's regeneration and constantly kicked him around.

Kicking him in his stomach, which sent him flying up thousands of meters high.

Then Shunpoing above him and drop kicking him.

Then side-kicking.

This continued, over and over.

Lucifer continuously kicked him all over the place.

Eventually, he kicked him to the ground.

*BOOMM!*

Crashing onto the ground, Lucifer landed right on top of him.

Continuously punching his face over and over.

He kept breaking Charybdis's face, blood was going everywhere, and it was splattering all over Lucifer.

Eventually, Charybdis's regeneration started to slow down, he seemed to be low on Magicules because he is constantly using regeneration.

Charybdis eventually exploded with anger, his aura burst out of him, pushing Lucifer back.

*BOOMM!*

Lucifer just narrowed his eyes at him, surprised Charybdis could still fight back.

"Lucife-" It seemed like Rimuru woke up but he instantly fell back unconscious.

Lucifer was momentarily distracted by Rimuru's voice.

Charybdis took advantage of this and sneak attacked Lucifer.

Instantly impaling Lucifer with his claw...

Picking him up slowly, Charybdis hung Lucifer's body up on his claws.

Lucifer coughed up blood, this was the closest to death he's been since he's been reborn in the world but he wasn't even scared.

He was happy for the opportunity that presented itself!

Smiling like a crazed man,

Lucifer grabbed Charybdis's arm and flexed his abdominal muscle to keep his arm stuck inside.

Pointing his pistol with his opposite hand directly against Charybdis's head.

"Bye!Bye!" Lucifer smirked and pressed the trigger.

This time he didn't hold back.

*BOOMM!*

Charybdis's whole entire top of his body was blown off completely, leaving nothing left.

Lucifer dropped to the ground, barely standing up but he persisted.

The hole in his chest was slowly healing, but since he basically used all of his Magicules, he was barely able to stay conscious and couldn't heal as fast as usual.

He slowly walked towards Rimuru's slime body, Lucifer's body was bloodied to hell but he continued.

"G-great sage, I know you can hear me, restore Rimuru's body back to normal." Lucifer commanded Great Sage.

'Since she knows who I am and knows Rimuru would agree, she listened to me because that's what her master would want.'

Rimuru's body reformed back to normal, Lucifer picked up his slime body and laid down on a tree, just slowly petting him.

Lucifer knows he can't just leave him by himself, because anything can happen.

'Fuck! I might actually die, I don't have enough Magicules to keep me alive for more than 30 minutes because of the fight, let's hope they arrive fast.' Lucifer inwardly cursed.

A few minutes later, Lucifer was barely conscious but was still alert, he sensed movement to his left, he reached for his pistols but relaxed when he noticed it was just Benimaru and the others.

He sighed in relief.

"Finally."

(Benimaru POV)

(A few moments before reaching Lucifer)

We could sense the fight had already been finished, Lord Lucifer seemed to be the victor but his connection with us is getting weaker and weaker by the minute.

Lord Rimuru seems to be fine though, his connection is a little weak but not as much as Lord Lucifer.

We need to hurry!

I could see Shion was very worried.

Even Souei who joined us when he saw us running was nervous even though he was keeping a cold exterior, I could tell.

Once we reached their location, Gabiru gagged.

The scene was gruesome, blood was everywhere, and even the stench was disgusting.

But Me, Shion, and Ranga grew up smelling blood so we didn't gag but we did wince at the amount of blood, there was also a big clearing.

They cleared over a thousand meters of the forest by fighting.

I was amazed by their power.

"Y-yo." Hearing a weak voice to my right, I see Lord Lucifer with a hole in his chest, bloodied all over his body with Lord Rimuru who seemed to be unconscious in his hands.

"Lord Lucifer!!"

Shion immediately rushed up to him.

"Take him first, I'll be fine for no-" As soon as Lord Lucifer handed Lord Rimuru to Shion and tried to assure her he was fine, he instantly reverted back to his cat form, bloodied up.

I caught him before he fell and poured a full potion on him.

It didn't fully heal him but at least it stabilized him and increased his regeneration rate so he should heal faster.

I sigh in relief.

"He's fine for now, all he needs is rest." I tell the others.

Shion smiled in relief.

"Awesome!"

Ranga's tail was also wagging happily.

Souei nodded in relief but he seemed still lowkey sad at the death of his subordinates, he knew they knew what they were getting into, so he didn't blame himself, he just showed respect for their deaths in order to honor them.

Gabiru also just smiled and started to chant Lord Rimuru and Lord Lucifer while dancing, trying to cheer up the mood, which worked.

We just chuckle and start walking back home.
