My name is Toujou Jin . Just an ordinary 29 yrs old Japanese salaryman who works from 9 to 5 on weekdays and enjoys his weekends with his family , is what i always wished i was . Unfortunately for me , I am not . I , Toujou Jin am the scion of the Toujou Group which is the richest corporation in Asia

and my life is full of responsibilities which is far from the peaceful & enjoyable life i always desired .

The Toujou Group was founded by my great-grandfather who i was named after in 1945 just after the end of World War II . My grandfather Toujou Hidetora and father Toujou Ryuusei took our company to great heights which i am proud of . Currently its 2019 and our company is the sole Overlord of Asia .

My mother died due to cancer when i was 6 . This incident turned my father into a workaholic .

My father never remarried and due to me being the only child and the sole heir to the company he was very strict in my upbringing . I was never a genius and had to work much harder than others to achieve the desired result .

I was always able to see through people which was honestly helpful as it made me aware of people who had malicious intentions . But this also made my life miserable because i was surrounded by people with ulterior motives . Although I had people i could trust with my life , I never had any friends neither was i able to fall in love like a normal person as the men only flattered me to get on my good side and the women were gold diggers after my money . A lot of people were jealous of me because they thought i was blessed by heavens and i had everything . But what they didn't know was that i was also jealous . Envious of normal people who were able to enjoy their life and didn't have any stress due to the large amount of responsibilities i have and expectations i have to fulfill .

When i was 10 i was kidnapped . It was orchestrated by one of the board members who got too greedy and wanted to take over the company . My father was really pissed off and as a result i was saved in just 6 hours after i was kidnapped . The kidnappers were killed in front of my eyes and as for the main culprit and his supporters , well they were fed to the fishes literally .

That incident prompted me to learn self defense . I started learning various kinds of martial arts as well as weapons arts . I started learning self defense when i was 11 and I was honestly surprised by how talented i was at martial arts as i absorbed everything i was taught like a sponge absorbing water . My masters were so shocked by my talent that they even joked about how i could possibly be the reincarnation of Sasaki Kojirou or Miyamoto Musashi . I became a master at both martial arts & sword arts at 17 years old and grandmaster at 25 . In the martial arts circle i was hailed as the youngest grandmaster who has developed his own style .

I started getting interested in the world of Anime & Manga when i was 15 . I was soon immersed in them and became a hardcore otaku but had to keep it a secret as i didn't want my father to find out because he considered all these useless . I even named my martial arts in a chuuni way . I watched Dragon Ball , One Piece , Naruto and many others . They were good but i felt something was missing

That feeling was soon gone with the appearance of Isekai Novels . I truly loved Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari , Arifureta Shokugyo de Sekai Saikyou , Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni , Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki , Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko , Re:Monster and my favorite one was Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken . Although it really pissed me off that Rimuru was so passive till the final chapter even though there were so many beauties around him just because he didn't have a dick anymore . He was a god devouring slime for fucks sake , couldn't he just create some tentacles or use his mimic ability .

Currently I am 29 and will be 30 in a few months . My father retired 6 months ago and appointed me as the new chairman . Due to that the time i could spend on my otaku hobbies lessened quite a lot .

There were even more responsibilities and pressure on me . Today I am in Kyoto to attend an important meeting to decide the future path for one of our subsidiaries . Although it was not necessary for me to come personally , I used this opportunity to relax and relieve some stress . After the meeting was over i left my bodyguards and immediately went to an arcade not far from here and played until evening . As i got hungry after playing for so long i decided to eat at a family restaurant instead of the hotel i am staying in . As i was on my way to the nearest family restaurant , i was waiting for the signal to turn green and near me were some high schoolers wearing headphones . These stupid brats , they aren't even paying proper attention to the road . I thought in my mind while sighing . As i was thinking about some things i didn't notice a guy with bloodshot eyes while holding a knife in his hand creeping behind us and by the time i noticed him he was already about to stab one of the high school student . I immediately reacted and tried to push the brat away but despite succeeding i was stabbed instead . The knife was stabbed on my back very close to my heart as i turned around and grabbed onto the assailant . The knife on my back was removed as i turned around and latched onto the slasher . Due to that the wound started pouring a lot of blood which started a commotion . I didn't want that bastard to run away so i grabbed his head and dropped it on my knee which broke his nose and knocked him out .

Due to the blood loss i was feeling light headed and fell onto the ground on my back . After falling i saw the kids i saved and the people near me looking at me with a pale face and screaming when i started losing consciousness . As i was losing my consciousness i started thinking that how this was really familiar . Wasn't this how Mikami Satoru died and reincarnated as Rimuru in Tensura . My last words before dying in my own pool of blood were ;

I - Will i also get Reincarnated ?
