3 3- New Family.

After hearing what the director said to him Ryuuto wanted to ask some questions to his possible new parents.

"If I may ask Mr and Mrs Jiro, why do you want to adopt me?"

Depending on the answer the couple gave him he would decide whether or not accepting the adoption, even though in the first place he didn't really want to have new parents he realized his old ones probably wanted him to move and find a new family.

"You see, my wife and I always had trouble with having children and after Mika gave birth to our daughter Kyoka the doctor it would be impossible for her to get pregnant again.

Even though the doctor said that we kept trying with different methods but none of those worked so we decided to try with adoption."

At this point his wife Mika began speaking.

"When I saw you play together with the other children something inside me clicked and it was as if it was saying to me that you were the right one, so will you give us a chance?"

Now, some of you might be wondering why they're talking to a child about pregnancy and all that stuff since children shouldn't understand that and you would be right if it was a normal child but this is Ryuuto we're talking about, the Jiro couple already knows about how smart he is for a child since the director told them that, so they decided to just be direct with him.

At this point Ryuuto was pretty sure to accept the adoption but he needed one last question answered.

"Will you let me keep my surname?"

Even if he was ready to accept new parents he still wanted to remember his old ones.

"Mmmh, I don't see any problem with that, what about you dear?"

Mika asked her husband Kyotoku.

"If you're ok with that then there's no problem."

After that the husband and wife stayed there to sign off some cards to make the procedure legal and all while Ryuuto went back to his room to pack what little belongings he had.

Once done with that he met back with the Jiros at the entrance to the orphanage to board their car and go towards his new home but before he could do that all the other children and the caretakers went toward him and said their goodbyes while hugging him.

After all the goodbyes Ryuuto entered the car and together with his new parents started going towards his new home.

The ride to get there was filled with some small talk so that Kyotoku and Mika could get to know him better, most of the questions asked were the usual ones like: "What's your favourite food?" or "What do you like to play?".

It didn't take much time to arrive at their destination since there wasn't much traffic and they didn't have too much road to travel.

"Here we are, your new home, right now your little sister Kyoka is at one of her friend's house, she should be coming back soon, today also happens to be her third birthday."

'Oh, so I'm actually slightly older than Kyoka, that means that if I were to go to UA, which I probably will otherwise I would probably die of boredom, I should get in the same year as the main characters.'

Once inside Kyotoku brought Ryuuto to his room while Mika went to prepare dinner.

After going up the stairs and opening the second door to the right Ryuuto saw a simple bedroom with the necessary furnishing: a bed with a nightstand near it, a little desk with a chair and a wardrobe.

"This here is your room, it's a little bit empty since we didn't know what you like so if you want anything for your room let us know."

"Mommy, Daddy, I'm home."

Soon after Kyotoku finished explaining they heard a little girl's voice coming from downstairs.

"Oh, that must be your sister. Come with me so that you two can meet each other."

While going downstairs they heard Mika talk with Kyoka.

"Welcome back Kyoka-chan, happy birthday, how was your day? Did you have fun at school and your friend's house?"

"Yes! I had lot's of fun today! Everyone wished me happy birthday and played lots with me."

"I see, I see."

"By the way Mommy, where is Daddy?"

"Daddy should be coming downstairs right now with a surprise for you."

"A surprise?! Really?! What is it? What is it?"

As soon as Kyoka heard the word surprise she started jumping up and down exited thinking that she was gonna get a new toy or maybe her own guitar.

"Mmmh, if you turn around you're going to find out."

Mika told her seeing as Kyotoku and Ryuuto where near the end of the stairs behind Kyoka.

Hearing what her mother said Kyoka turned around and saw her father with a child her age that she didn't recognize.

"Kyoka-chan this is Ryuuto, your new big brother, Ryuuto she is Kyoka your little sister."

As soon as Kyoka's brain registered what her father said she started running towards Ryuuto while screaming "Onii-chan!".

Once she reached him Kyoka immediately hugged him with her tiny arms in doing so she seemed to have obtained inhuman strength and was almost like Kyoka was trying to crush Ryuuto while hugging him.

'Oof, I didn't think she could have so much strength but I have to say that a small Kyoka sure is cute.'

"Hello there Kyoka, I'm your new big brother, my name is Ryuuto Azusagawa, nice to meet you and happy birthday."

"Look at them dear, they're already getting along."

"That they are honey, that they are. Now you two let's go eat before dinner gets cold."

After dinner all four of them went to sit on the couch to get to know each other better, the entire time Kyoka was as of glued to Ryuuto.

Soon came time for ryuuto and Kyoka to go to sleep and after waking up the next he would go back to his usual training routine while also going to preschool and playing with Kyoka, that way 13 years passed in a flash.
