2 Chapter 2 Wedding And Father

Next Day

As I woke up the next day I felt something soft next to me. I opened my eyes and saw Kaguya sleeping peacefully next to me. I held her in my arms and tried to remember what happened last night but my slight movement seemed to have woken her up.

"Good morning my wife". I said to her.

" Mhm " She just nodded her head and slept in my arms. She snuggled up to me and refused to budge. 'What happened? Why is she so close to me suddenly? I don't care I am just happy that she is opening up to me and showing her desire'.

"Kaguya we are going to have our wedding in a few months. I am going to make it the most memorable for us."

"Hnn" She just nodded her head again and maintained her silence. I sat up with her and got ready for breakfast. After having breakfast I sat with her in the balcony as she was gazing at the divine tree and me happy about spending my time with her.

"Don't you have anything to do?" She asked.

"No. I am spending the rest of my time with my wife. I left all the work to my retainers".

" Aren't you too irresponsible for a ruler?". She looked at me.

"If you have the resources and don't use them then you should be called dumb. I honestly don't like being a ruler. I only took up the mantle because I couldn't let my ancestor's hard work go to vain. I found some useful people and left them in charge of most of the things only reporting important things to me. After a few years, I will find a peaceful place for us to live without any worries. We can enjoy our peace without any disturbances. We will be together like this forever. I Love You." I said to her.

She just nodded her head with a slight blush. She then looked at me and saw that I had a teasing smile on my face. She pouted and got up to leave.'Ahh she looked too cute'

"You aren't going anywhere" I pulled her back which made her fall onto my lap. I held her firmly and looked into her eyes.

"Shouldn't I get some compensation?". I asked her.

"A Kiss"

"No. It's too soon" she was blushing hard but still tried to keep her calm face. The contrast was too funny.

"Chuckle~" hearing me she turned towards me again

"Why are you laughing now?".

" My wife is just too cute". After that, she looked at me with an annoyed face and asked.

"What if I don't like it?"

"If you didn't like it you wouldn't sit with me here. If you didn't like it you wouldn't have slept with me yesterday. If you didn't like it you wouldn't have agreed to our marriage. If you didn't like it you wouldn't follow me a person who you just met with ". Hearing my last sentence she had a shocked face.

" Do you think I could force you to do these things?"

"If I loved someone I would never want to show my love for them under a false pretence that may as well be gone tomorrow. I don't want you to feel guilty thinking I only loved you because of some magic or hypnotism".

" Kaguya, I Love You" I leaned my head over and touched her forehead with mine. We both didna speak anything and just enjoyed our silence.

"When?" She asked after some time.

"From the start".

" So you fooled me". She asked with slight anger.

"Then what do I do? Would you come with me If asked you after seeing your powers? Wouldn't anyone in their right mind just look for another lackey to find? One who they could fully control. So I just acted my part. Now I am glad I did so otherwise, I wouldn't be able to hold you like this". I held her tighter and had a silly smile on my face.

"Alright." She forgives me.

We spent our time in each other's embrace. Before we knew it months had passed and it was time for our wedding. The wedding went on without any hassle.

At present, I was sitting in our chambers with Kaguya beside me.

"Kaguya I love you" and kissed her for the first time. It felt warm and soft kissing her lips.

"I Love You too Tenji" She had become a little more open around me and could say her feeling without feeling any embarrassment. After speaking her mind she initiated a kiss and sucked on my lips greedily.

"Don't worry my rabbit we have the whole night for ourselves" and indulged in their little world.

After our first night, our bond became unbreakable. It might not be the correct word but it would never be shaken by even the hardest problems.

During the past few days, we spend all our time indulging in our world. Kaguya also became more and more open and would take the initiative to do many things.

After a few weeks into our marriage, I had to go for peace talks with a neighbouring ruler. I left Kaguya with full security and went on ahead with my journey.

After a day into our peace talks. As we were speaking a battered person came to us started talking bullshit about my wife being a demon and that she tried to kill him. As he was speaking my hand slipped and I accidentally removed his head.

The Enemy Emperor enraged was also about to bullshit but I kindly separated his tongue and four limbs from his body. The soldiers wanted to stop me but they were too scared to move because of the bloodlust I was giving off. The peace talks ended then and there without anyone even mention anything about War even after I technically killed their Ruler.

I went back to my territory. After reaching there I started hearing many rumours about Kaguya being called a demon and that she had bewitched me. I knew that this wasn't a coincidence and that my trusted retainers started thinking of themselves above me.

After returning the first thing I did was go look for my wife. Although I knew no one in this world could harm her I was still worried nonetheless.

"Tenji I-" She wanted to explain something to me but I didn't let her and hugged her tightly.

"You don't need to explain anything to me. I will take care of everything so you don't need to worry". I reassured her and went towards the courtroom and called for an emergency meeting the next day.

The situation wasn't any good in my territory. Many retainers more than 90 per cent of them wanted to kill and purge me saying that I had become a demon.

" So, this is what you have chosen?".

"Yes, You aren't needed anymore" Oh boy they were so gonna regret it soon.

"I see, I will leave this place and live near the divine tree. If any of you dare to come any closer than a kilometre to it you are going to die". I said

'What why isn't he showing any emotion? Doesn't he feel betrayed?' That was the only thought going through their head.

" If you are thinking that I would feel betrayed then you don't need to worry about me. In my eyes, you people were nothing more than pawns, simple ants that would do anything for me and I could just kill you after my work was done. I used you for my purposes nothing more nothing less. Would you feel anything other than a slight itch if an ant bites you? That's what I see happening in front of me". I was about to leave when a few people came towards me and kneeled in front of me.

"Tenji Sama we would like to follow you". Some of the retainers came and asked to come with me.

" We will be leaving tomorrow". I said and looked at them before looking at the rest of them who all had expressions of extreme anger and frustration and felt satisfied.

What happened inside spread through the whole place and everyone knew what happened.

" My wife you liked the divine tree right we are going to live there from now on".I said to her and told her what happened today. Aino also wanted to be with us. So after hearing what happened she asked us to take her with us.

The next day, as we were about to leave all the civilians, came forward and asked to take them. So we practically took most of the people leaving only those greedy retailers behind letting them enjoy their wealth.

"Are you happy leaving all that wealth behind?". Kaguya asked me.

" My wife a kingdom isn't about wealth or strength but its people and who said anything about leaving money behind. Just before we were leaving I completely cleaned the treasury and bought all the stored food with us. Even with the whole population, it will last us at least nearly two years. So we can just enjoy our time in Peace. And because I let them do their things I made them sign an agreement that they would give us more than half of the revenue they make. And I peacefully told them the consequences if they did anything funny". She was in awe of how much of a black belly I was.

"I need to tell you something". after speaking those words she took something from the top of the World tree and ate it. After that, an enormous glow enveloped the whole place and sometime later Kaguya appeared in front of me again this time looking even more majestic.

She told me how she arrived here and how she fled from her clan and what she just did. After speaking her mind she looked at me.

" So?" I looked at her as if saying 'Is that all?'

"What is with that expression? You know how worried I was about what you would think of me". Kaguya scolded me.

"There is one thing that will never change Kaguya. That is I Love You." I held her tightly in my arms.

"You are a Father" she said. It took me some time to process those words and stared at her in a trance. She suddenly dropped a bombshell which made me speechless because of how happy I was.

"Kaguya you just gave me the best gift possible". and loved her a lot that night.
