The start
A thousand years ago, the world was corrupted by the lord of the abyss. His void prowess gave birth to terrible voidlings, draining life from places after place until everything will become nothing but void. But, a divine being descended from the divine realm giving light to the places the voidlings ate. That being was the goddess Alina, goddess of light. A war broke out between the goddess Alina and the lord of the abyss, the lord of the abyss was defeated and went back to the abyss for his deep slumber.
A couple of days after the war, peace went back to the world and the goddess Alina blessed the world with magi before ascending back to the divine realm. They say that when the lord of the abyss wakes, he will bring forth the void back into the world. And a descendant of the goddess Alina will stop the calamity from happening.
A thousand years later, five houses were formed to protect the the world; The House of Aria, bearer of wind; House of Mollo, bearer of fire; House of Zeme, bearer of earth; and House of Vann, bearer of water. These houses were the nations the was once victim of the void. They surround the Nation of Luminous, the place where the goddess Alina first descended and last ascended.
"That was our world history, any questions?" A teacher asked.
A student raised his hand while calling, "Teacher!"
The teacher saw him and answered, "Yes?"
"Is it really true that the goddess Alina have a descendant?" The student asked to satisfy his curiosity
"It is not yet confirmed, but legends has it that the goddess Alina left a single light shard to protect our world as her descendant." The teacher answered satisfying her student's curiosity.
The bell rang, it was already time to lunch.
"That's all for today's class. Everyone have a good lunch", the teacher said as she left the room.
"Hey, Zeke!" A brunette young boy with brown eyes called.
Zeke, a silver haired with ruby eyes young boy answered, "What is it, Li?"
"I was just wondering, how's your magi?" Li asked.
"Oh, just the same. You know I have low magi consumption." Zeke answered.
"I just hope that you can finally use your magi so that we could join the competition together." Li said as he was hoping for the best.
"Don't worry about me. Just join the competition, I'll be supporting you." Zeke replied.
"Li!" A young bright blue-haired girl with a pair of gray eyes called while running.
"Oh, Aqua! What is it?" Li replied.
"Your butler came." Aqua replied grasping for air.
"Oh, where is he?", Li asked.
"He's at the main gate waiting for you." Aqua replied while looking at the gate through the window.
Li hurried to meet the butler.
"Young master, you forgot your lunch." A man with black hair and brown eyes wearing a suit called .
"Oh, thanks Kou." Li replied.
"You really have it easy for you huh?" Zeke told Li jokingly.
"Not really, you know how hard it is for me at home." Li replied seriously.
"Being the heir of the House of Zeme is really taking a toll on you, huh?" Aqua said.
"You're right about that Aqua. Thankfully my parents allowed me to have you guys as friends." Li said while letting out a sigh.
"Well, I'm also the heir of the House of Vann. But, my family doesn't really pressure me that much. They just want me to take my time and take it easy." Aqua said proudly.
"I think I'm the only one from a commoner's house in the three of us, haha." Zeke said jokingly.
"Awww, don't be like that Zeke." Aqua said, comforting Zeke.
"Yeah, the three of us grew together. We're basically like brothers and sisters now." Li said, comforting Zeke.
"Oh? What's this? The incompetent Magi User. Wait, should we even call you a Magi User? HAHAHA!" Aqua and Li turned after they heard the voice.
"Kurt Mollo" Li said glaring.
Everything was silent when Kurt and Li were looking at each other.
