13 What?

After the doctor came, he started to check her heart beat carefully when the nurse said, "Doctor, she wants to drink water. Should I give it to her?" 

"Yes, you can but give her a little." 5he man replied.

"Okay." The nurse called some maids to help her to hold Luo Lixi. 

With their help she fed her some water. Luo Lixi was having difficulty gulping down. So the nurse fed her with a spoon. 

When water flowed down in her throat, she felt like she was a vast desert and this amount of water was like a drop. She needed more.

"I want more." She said hoarsely.

The nurse looked towards the doctor and the latter didn't object to it. So she fed her a little more.

Luo Lixi found the water tastier than anything she had eaten in her life and for a moment, forgot her worries. 

"Help me to sit?" She asked the nurse.

They helped her. She leaned backwards at the headboard. The nurse put a cushion at her back and adjusted her position slightly so that she could be more comfortable. 

Luo Lixi looked around the room. It didn't feel like a hospital at all. The decoration of this place was classy and simple which she preferred more. There was also a working desk by her side, some files were scattered on it. 

'Someone must have been working there.' She thought.

Luo Lixi could guess she was in a coma. She looked at them and asked, "How many days have been since I was in a coma?"

"Nearly two months." the nurse replied. 

'At least it wasn't many years.' Luo Lixi heaved a sigh. At one point she thought she had turned into a granny and she could no longer meet her grandfather.

"Where is this place?" Luo Lixi whispered.

"The southern area of Ming city." A maid replied.

"Ming city?" She was a little confused.

"Oh, can you tell me who is looking after me this whole time? Is he an old man?" She asked with a little smile. The thought of meeting her grandfather improved her mood.

The room and the environment around her were the epitome of 'luxury'. If someone unfamiliar found her, they would definitely try to find her family and her grandpa would treat her like this. 

But she was totally wrong.

"He is a man but definitely not old." One of the maids answered her. 

It was Nana. She was so scared that this woman would say anything about her but she was worrying for nothing. She thought she could lie about it if they were to find out anything.

 There was no respect in her tone when she spoke. But Lixi didn't mind her. "Where is he now? Can I meet him now?"

"He went to the company." Nana replied. The nurse and others looked at her, disapproving of her tone.

"What is his name?" Luo Lixi whispered.

"You… you don't even know him. Who are you joking to? Our young master is ..." She didn't get the chance to finish when the half opened door burst open from the outside. 

Everyone was flabbergasted by the intruder.

"Sir, today you have four meetings and three appointments to attend to. Also, some projects need to be discussed urgently."

"I know." He said in a deep tone with a cold look visible in his eyes.

"It's not my fault. Also there is tons of work awaiting you in the company." Wang Haixiao murmured, a funny smile was on the corner of his lips but Sheng Ruming couldn't see it as the man was talking via phone. 

"..." Sheng Ruming could already imagine that he would be late today to return to the Southern Villa.

"Also...cough! Uncle Sheng will come to the company to talk to you." Wang Haixiao added.

Sheng Haotin, it's his father. He heard the rumours and suspected that it was true. That's why he wanted to have a face to face talk with his son. Sheng Ruming became silent. If he could, he wouldn't want to confront him now.

Sheng Ruming was having a conversation with Wang Haixiao. He focused outside of the car and they talked about his schedules for today on the phone. He wanted to go to his villa early but from the looks of it, it was impossible. 

Ring~ Ring~

Suddenly one of his bodyguards' phone began to ring. There was a call coming in from the villa. It was a call from that Xiao Huang guy. The man picked up the call, "Yes, chief."

"Give the phone to the boss." Xiao Huang instructed.

That man turned around and told him, "Sir, the chief wants to talk to you."

"Hold on a second." he told Wang Haixiao and threw his phone in his left hand. Then took the other phone in his right one. He placed it by his ear and asked worriedly, "What happened?" 

Sheng Ruming told them to call him only if there was an emergency. Fifteen minutes hadn't even passed since he came out to go to the company yet they called him.

"Sir, Miss has woken up." Xiao Huang replied. 

It took several minutes to register it in Sheng Ruming's mind that she had woken up. He grabbed the phone tightly and took a deep breath. Veins became visible in his hand. 

Wang Haixiao also heard it. He was glad to hear the news. Ji Yanli was beside him and he placed a hand on the phone to cover it up. Then he looked at her.

"She's awake." He told her while smiling. But Ji Yanli gave him a gaze full of pity as if he was going to die.

"Haixiao you are dead." Ji Yanli said smugly.

"What? Why are you saying that?" He became confused by her behaviour.

"You will understand..." She laughed while going to her desk. 

Ji Yanli was also waiting for Sheng Ruming to discuss something. But as far as she knew his personality, he wouldn't come today anymore.

Wang Haixiao wanted to say something to Sheng Ruming when he heard some noise from the other side.

"Turn the car. I will go back to the villa." Sheng Ruming ordered the bodyguard in an authoritative tone. 

The bodyguard immediately made an U-turn on the road and went in the opposite direction.

'What?! Did I hear something wrong?' Wang Haixiao became stupefied.

"Boss, you're joking, aren't you?" He asked carefully.

"Am I someone who would joke around?!" Sheng Ruming asked coldly.

"Hey man, you are the CEO while I am only a PA. I have cancelled many meetings for you already. Today I again scheduled your time with some important figures to wrap up the urgent tasks. You should come and check on her later...please." He didn't dare to sound like he was ordering him but his voice was firm. 

The main problem wasn't of him taking leave rather it was because it was the peak of the season and there is a lot of work to be done. That's why they were very concerned about his arrival.
