1 Final Struggle
Central Demon Zone, a zone located in the Northern Region of the Mid immortal realm.
This was an area where no one would step into unless being sufficiently strong enough. It was also where the Heavenly Demon Tribe's residence was located.
The tribe had 3 lineages, Qin, Wu, Lin, with each one alone being comparable to an Immortal Celestial family.!
This is why the Heavenly Demon Tribe was deemed by the masses as one of the most terrifying forces in the middle immortal realm, having a foundation that could compete even against the top sects of the world.!
In the Northern Region, the Heavenly Demon Tribe's word was law! If they told a cultivator to go east, that person could only helplessly go east, unless they wanted to be erased from existence.
Therefore they all choose to comply, since if they died, all of their progress would be all for naught, it's better to just be obedient now and maybe have a chance of revenge in the future
It was unknown how many cultivators had grudges against the tribe!
In the mountains located only a few miles from the Immortal Demon Palace which was the center of the Heavenly Demon Tribe, was a secret cave located deep within a mountain!
Within that secret cave was a young woman holding a new born baby as a man stood right next to her, accompanied by a servant!
"Just how are we going to keep her safe, or atleast, alive?"
With a distressed expression, Lin Xiu turned to her husband and asked in hopes of a way
She was just an ordinary human who had gained the attention of the eldest son of the Qin lineage
Even though she was in fear at first after he told her of his identity, never would she have thought that Qin Yan would insist on marrying her and in turn receive such a response from the Heavenly Demon tribe!
"I'm sorry, I thought with my status I could marry a human with no punishment, I didn't think they'd be so merciless", Qin Yan looked at her, feeling extremely guilty.
He couldn't understand it, why was his family dead set on not letting him marry a human?
Him marrying her had caused his status as the eldest prince of the Qin family to be abolished, but the tribe had even sent someone to kill her baby before she was born!
Though he had noticed in time, she had still been severely injured, with the baby also receiving an injury!
With his amazing talents, reaching the Celestial sovereign realm in less than 30 years, he'd never thought that they would ignore his talents just for some stupid rule!
Oh how unfair the world was!
"If I had knew, I would've waited until I was Invincible before marrying you..", Qin Yan tried to calm himself down to think of a solution
Seeing how anxious the two were for a solution, Qin Yan's servant spoke up, "Master, seeing as there isn't much time, how about we send her to the lower realm?"
Hearing that, Qin Yan's eyes lit up, "Indeed, why haven't I though about tha-", He was suddenly interrupted by a surge of qi encompassing the mountain they were in!
Qin Yans expression instantly turned serious as he sensed multiple auras around the mountain, with Lin Xiu also having a change in expression once she noticed his actions!
He hadn't told anyone where they were, not even his closest of friends.. so how had they been discovered?
The tribe couldn't have possibly thought they would hide under their nose instead of going somewhere far away!
Xiu'er wouldn't put them in danger and kill them both, and neither would he, and so that leaves..
Connecting the dots, Qin Yan instantly felt a sense of betrayal!
He turned to the servant, and before the servant could say anything, he exploded into a bloody mist!
"Who would've thought that even though he knew you since young, he would betray us in the end.." Lin Xiu flashed a smile full of helplessness.
Qin Yan also felt helpless, indeed, there were few one could trust during one's Cultivation journey!
"Though that Is so, we can still do the idea he had given us, sending our daughter into the lower realm", holding Lin Xiu's hands, Qin Yan looked at his daughter, "I don't know if we can survive this predicament though".
The entrance to the secret cave suddenly exploded, as an elder of the Heavnly Demon Tribe forced his way through!
"Impressive hiding spot, Qing Yan, were it not for that servant of yours, you would've remained undiscovered!", as the elder spoke, he reached out his palm implying he was going to attack.
Seeing this, Qin Yan knew he had no time to waste. He grabbed his daughter, tore open the space infront of him opening a dimensional crack, and threw her into it before reaching out his hand and meeting the elders attack!
If he had enough time he could have atleast made sure she landed somewhere safe, and perhaps even send away his wife but unfortunately, he couldn't!
In this span of time, other elders also arrived at the scene!
"Since you all brought me to this point, shall I be cursed after death if I don't bring atleast some of you down with me!" Qin Yan roared and unsheathed his sword, releasing an aura that instantly wiped the mountain they were in!
This day may be the last he swung his sword, but Qin Yan wasn't one to give up!
Even though he knew the chances of him and his wife escaping was infinitely close to zero, so what?
He hadn't become so strong through being a coward!
