5 Trash vs Flower

Sein looked at the row of weapons displayed on his eyes. Despite having the worst talent of them all, he was pretty confident in his own capabilities. With a bright smile, he chose a weapon, then another, then another.

"Hmm, I gonna need this sword, oh that set of daggers looks nice, oooh a kunai! I got you, brother."

Sein immediately busying himself with the weapons of his choosing, leaving the spectator to a dumbstruck state. They couldn't believe what he was doing nor did they want to believe what he was doing. They wondered if this was a shameless act or a fool act.

"Hahaha, of course, the talentless would undoubtedly choose everything," chuckled one of the students. He made sure that Sana couldn't hear what he was saying else he would end up like the other three.

Sana had her palm on her face. Though behind the hidden face, she gave out a wide smile that she rarely shown in the village. (This kid!).

"Alright, I'm all set, Nia."

Sein stood in front of her with a set of weapons attached to his clothing. Twin sword was placed on his right and left waist, while on the belt he placed four kunai. On the back of his, not so broad shoulder was a type of greatsword while each of his hand already holding a dagger.

He was like a man ready to war against an army alone. His appearance alone could scare the generals, if, he had sufficient cultivation level. Sadly, he looked more like a joke to the people watching him with his current strength.

Nia shook her head in disappointment. This was the young man she had arranged marriage to? How stupid! If he was already talentless, the least he could do was not shaming himself even further.

She pointed her spear at the soon-to-be fiancee of her, "If I win, I need you to do me a favor, a bet if you will."

The crowd was surprised by this turn of event. The most beautiful flower was betting against the trash of the village. Though piqued with curiosity how could they have the guts to ask.

Sana looked amused at this and said nothing. Her silence could only mean her permission. Since she was the teacher, she couldn't directly agree nor disagree with this matter.

(Now, Sein, what will you do?) thought Sana as she glanced at the one-man army.

The young man dubbed as trash was now hogging all the attention. What could their relationship be? What happened between the beauty and the trash?

Sein immediately contemplated. (What favor could she probably ask?).

It didn't take long for him to guess the favor she was referring to. It was no doubt she was referring to 'that'. How could he not know? He was like a frog trying to eat a swan, their difference was too much apart.

His face looked dejected as he glanced down to the ground. He knew that the two of them couldn't be together, but his grandfather was trying to make him happy. (Alas grandfather Jing, your effort comes to naught. I cannot be selfish enough to force her to love me either).

Gritting his teeth, he answered, "Alright, I take it on!"

He readied his stance as a smile planted on his face. He knew he got no chance of winning against the beauty in front of him. Nonetheless, he must give it his all.

With both daggers on his hands, he looked at the tip of the spear as he entered a focus state. Sana walked between them before nodding. "Alright, no killings allowed."

She looked at them both before nodding, "Begin!"

Nia spun her spear before suddenly thrusting at great speed. She didn't waste time at all as she pointed at his chest. One strike to end the battle.

*ding

Her eyes opened wide before being followed by the gasps of the crowd. Sana immediately perked up a smile before she said, "Not bad! Not bad at all!"

The tip of her spear actually met the tip of one of Sein's dagger, instantly stopping her force of the attack. Such skill and at that distance, the students thought that his luck was incredible.

"What demonic luck, now I'm certain that he is having a deal with the devil," whispered one of the students.

Sein gritted his teeth. He had to put all of his strength just to stop her one casual thrust. He glanced at her before he put up a wry smile (She didn't even flinch at all, as expected of my fiancee).

Nia immediately regained her calm state as she retracted the spear. Looking at him already catching up to breathe after just one strike explained everything she needed to know. She was on a whole different level.

(Why would my parents agreed to this, this guy is utter trash) thought Nia. The more she looked at him the more her heartfelt a nuisance.

As her emotion rose, she thrust her spear with more power.

Sein's eyes opened wide before the spear immediately went by his dagger. Though the weapon was made of wood, the spear managed to bleed out his right arm.

Before Sein could feel the pain it brought, another attack was coming. He immediately jumped back and escaped her range of attack. The smart move was caught on by his beautiful teacher.

With blood dripping from his right arm, he looked at Nia before throwing both daggers at her. Of course, without much-needed effort, she slapped them both with her spear, however.

Suddenly in her line of vision, four kunai immediately aimed at her body.

(It was a distraction?!) thought Nia before she spun the spear vertically.

The four kunai immediately propelled to the ground before she stopped her spin. "Huh?"

Sein was gone from her sight before she noticed a shadow below, rushing toward her. She glanced up only to face Sein swinging his greatsword downward.

The crowd gasped as they felt the impossible was about to happen. To think that trash like him could even push her to this extent.

Nia immediately side-stepped before thrusting her spear toward his chest.

(Haha, I guess, I'm not fast enough huh) thought Sein before he opened his eyes wide with his mouth open, "Gah!"

His figure immediately propelled by the force of the spear Nia exuded, leaving the greatsword to drop to the ground. With a loud thud, his body fell and dust scattered.

Nia stood and watched Sein on the ground before turning around.

"It-it's not over yet."

Nia didn't even manage to land a single step before she heard his voice.

"I-I still have a weapon left, a twin if you may."

Sein slowly got up with the help of the twin sword before he faced Nia's back. Blood was dripping from his mouth but he still put up a smile though his left eye was firmly shut.

Nia had her mouth twitched before she turned around and shouted, "Don't you get it?! We are not compatible with each other at all! You are trash and I will soar the sky!"

With only his right eye opened he muttered, "I know."

His response caught her off guard, she didn't expect him to admit it. Shaking her head, "Fine!" she readied her spear for the final joust.
