1 Prologue

In a quiet village, a wild storm was coming as the people immediately scattered away and got inside their houses. The blistering thunder ravaged the sky as if it would tear it apart. The strong wind was like a torrent that crashed to everything. It was a weird storm that went in all directions with not even a single droplet of rain.

Despite the raging weather, a cloaked figure was descending from the center of the clouds. His face was covered but he was seemed to be carrying something in his arms, wrapped in cloth. The fluttering cloak made him looked like a god as he ruled the nearby thunder to his will.

The figure lightly stepped on the ground as he was walking toward an ordinary house. It wasn't even the biggest house in the village. It was a simple house with only one old man living inside.

Standing in front of the door, the man lightly knocked on the door. Despite the ridiculous strength he was emitting, his touch was gentle enough to not destroy the entrance.

*knock*knock

The sound entered the house before the old man living inside responded, "Ah yes, yes, wait for me."

He had a wrinkled face and gray hair, but despite so, his stature was straight. His skinny figure was frail but a smile always planted on his face. His right hand that was full of visible veins held the doorknob before slowly opening the door.

His gentle eyes soon opened wide as he saw the figure standing in front of him. "Y-you are!"

"Hello, old friend, looks like I'm going to owe you for the last time," said the cloaked man as he glanced at the thing he was holding.

"Is-is that?!" his frailed hand pointed at the wrapped clothing he was holding.

The cloaked man lightly dragged the upper cover of the cocoon-shaped object before the old man turned into a shock.

A face with no impurities was presented to him. He was peacefully sleeping despite the noisy sound of raging weather. His onyx black hair and fair white complexion brought about the cuteness he was unknowingly exuding.

"Is this your-?" the old man glanced at the man before he received his answer with a nod.

"This is my grandson, my only grandchild, please take care of him, you are my only one true friend, I beg of you, please."

The old man looked at the figure and saw a hint of tears escaping his eyes. Who knows what kind of ordeal that could make a man this strong begging.

The old man didn't need to think any further as he immediately received the sleeping baby into his arms.

The cloaked man looked at the baby before he took something hidden in his cloth on the chest region. A necklace with a small sapphire stone as its pendant. He gently put on top of the baby's chest.

"Give it to him when he is able to cultivate," said the man as his voice getting hoarse.

The cloaked man placed his cold hand to the baby's cheek as he muttered, "Grow strong Sein, and live well."

The cloaked man immediately jumped leaped back before kowtowed against the old man.

"Thank you, old friend! In the next life, I will surely repay you!" shouted the cloaked man before he glanced up to see his unwilling true friend's face.

"W-wait!" before the old man could stop him, he disappeared from his sight.

The wild storm immediately stopped as the sun regain control over the weather before the old man could regain his composure. There were a lot of thoughts going on in his mind before a cry of a baby woke him up.

---------------

Meanwhile, the cloaked man already fled from the village and crossed the endless sea only to stop at an empty island.

"I guess this is it," muttered the man as he glanced back at the sea.

Before long, four figures appeared before him. They were around the same age as him with noticeable power that could flip the island.

"Is this how our friendship goes? At the eyes of a treasure and you all became greedy," said the cloaked man.

One of the figures laughed, "That is not your ordinary treasure, that's one of the ten divine items!"

"Just give us the treasure and we will give you a swift kill, how about it?" continued the other.

"That's right, you make us go chasing you all the way here, only for what?" said the other.

The cloaked man laughed, "Alright, you will give me a swift kill yes?"

The four of them was a bit surprised by his words before one of them nodded, "That's right,"

"Sounds like a good deal, but to whom should I give the necklace too?"

The three of them immediately looked at each other as hostile was hidden underneath their smiles. They were that vicious even to each other.

"C'mon, don't be fooled by his trickery, just kill him and we will discuss it later," said the last person of the four.

The cloaked man laughed, "I guess I cannot fool you huh."

"Your trickery may work wonder, but it won't work out every time," said the fourth figure.

"Then I guess, I have to fight you lot then," said the cloaked man as he revealed his clenched right hand with a smile.

"Are you serious? You will still die in the end you know," said the first figure.

"Try me!" taunted the cloaked man before he leaped toward the four of them.

(Sein, look, your grandpa is badass, so grow up well my grandchild, I hope you know how much I love you) thought the cloaked man with a smile before he threw a devastating fist, "HAH!"

The island exploded as the land shook creating a huge wave to enveloped them.

---------------

At the same time, the baby was crying even louder inside the old man's house. The old man himself had an inkling as he stared at the sky before the window.
