4 Field Exercise

The class turned silent as Sana put her hands on her waist. She glared at the group in the back that was speaking ill of the new student. Crossing her arm, she said, "I will count to three."

The group tensed up but they didn't do anything except glancing at each other. Either way, the two options only resulted in their humiliation. But they didn't want to admit their wrongdoings either. Their minds conflicted with their foolish pride.

"Three"

The whole classroom immediately opened their eyes wide as they heard what the beautiful teacher had just said. She just skipped the number one and two without batting an eye.

Sana gradually approached the group of three students in the back of the class. Their eyes were full of fear but they didn't dare to utter a question.

"Alright, stand up and come here one by one," said Sana with a sigh.

One of them gritted their teeth before he stood up, "Why teacher! Why is he-"

He couldn't finish his words before his jaw dislocated to the right and blood spilled out from the loss of his teeth. He didn't have time to wail before he fainted on the floor.

The other two immediately shrieked away as they saw their friend's condition. They couldn't do anything either, their family was nothing compared to the beautiful woman in front of them. Their parents wouldn't dare to complain about it to the principal either.

"C'mon, don't make me wait."

In the end, the three of them fainted on the floor. All of their jaws were dislocated from just a casual slap she threw. It was apparent that her strength beyond what the village could handle.

Clapping her hands she returned to the board before looking at a dumbstruck Sein. This new student of hers tended to gawk at her with no apparent reason.

"Get a seat," said Sana before glancing at an empty spot beside Nia, "There, go sit over there."

Her instructions wake him up from his stupor. Sein immediately glanced at the spot she was referring to before his eyes opened wide with a smile forming on his face.

It was his fiancee whom he had arranged marriage to. The most beautiful girl in the village, Nia. Not only she was beautiful, her talent as a cultivator was also superb.

On the other hand, Nia furrowed her eyebrows toward the man she was supposed to call fiancee. They were like heavens and earth, a swan and a small toad. How could her parents agree to such a ridiculous arrangement?

He happily sat down beside her to which she immediately slid further away from him. Looking at the beautiful girl that was supposed to be his wife in the future. His heart melted with the heat of happiness, such was the naivety of his teenage years.

"Oh right, his name is Sein, so be nice to him," said Sana before continuing the class.

Sein laid back as he was grateful to his fate. Today alone, he got a beautiful teacher to teach him in the class, and then a beautiful fiancee whom he would marry in the future. All thanks to his foster grandfather, Jing.

"Alright, let's go to the field, we are going to start combat training."

Sana immediately opened the door and left the classroom without further ado.

Nia stood up and left the seat before following her teacher while the other students had a scornful look on their faces at the laid back trash. They couldn't believe that there will come a day where they would share the same class as him. He couldn't even cultivate in the first place, what was even the point of him being here. Nothing but a waste of time.

As the students left with a discontent face on their expression, Sein was left alone in the classroom. Though they didn't say anything, it was apparent what they were implying based on their action.

"Though I may not be as talented, I'm still the one getting the most beautiful flower in this village."

He tried to coerce his own depression by stating the fact that he believed would make him happy. With a kind of newfound spirit, he took a deep breath before following his fellow classmates outside.

The field was probably one-fourth of a hangar in terms of size. There was a rack of weapons placed on the side, with a closer look, one could see that each of the weapons that were displayed was made out of wood for safety reasons. There were swords, knives, short swords, pikes, spears, even a morning star, and boomerang was present. Not to mention bows and the like.

"Alright, pick a weapon and then pick a partner then beat each other."

Her order was short and precise, just like her tomboyish personality. She didn't dawdle like the other teacher and just straight to the point. Though many couldn't believe that she just said that, it must be done because she said so.

"Great, I will partner up with Nia then."

The students gawked at the sources of the voice. They couldn't believe that he was that bold to even shout it out loud. Not to mention that the person saying it couldn't even cultivate yet.

Nia furrowed her eyebrows as distasteful feelings grew in her heart. However, before long, she curved up a smile and immediately pick a weapon.

"Are you serious, Nia is actually accepting his invitation."

"Don't be that foolish, it was obvious why she accepts it, hehe, justice is about to be served."

Sana furrowed her eyebrows toward the absurd decision Sein made. Did he deliberately choose her to prove a point or was it something else? Either case, there was no way he could win against the best in the class.

A spear was pointed at Sein before he curved up a smile and choose a weapon on his own. Rubbing his chin, he quietly inspected the weapons in the rack.

"Alright then."

Sana and the class opened their eyes wide at the weapon he chose.
