Adamina Forging!

'I should have established my workshop from the beginning… Still, I can't blame the guy!' Adamina grumbled.

She had the idea of having her own Workshop but because she was short on coins she did not. Now, with Seth's insistence, she decided to check things out but she didn't know it would cost one gold coin.

The Gold coin was enough to buy her freedom!

Ever since she came to this town, she had seen players organize and raise some coins to build a Workshop.

Most often than not, the players later regretted it and dropped the workshop because it was hard while very few persisted. From the behaviour of those that persisted she guessed they belong to an organization.

Another reason for persistence was, to own a Blueprint you have to have a Workshop and have Blacksmith skills—and to get a better Blueprint one has to become a Blacksmith.

Having Blacksmith skills and becoming Blacksmith were two different things. Holding a hammer and beating iron doesn't make a player a Blacksmith!

Adamina observed her Workshop. The first room was the Display Room and the Shop. The inner room was the Forge where the Blacksmith worked. The last room was a Storeroom!

"Hmm, five days to make ten common. Even the game understood it was hard becoming Blacksmith" Adamina wasn't plastered as she had a cheat with her.

To understand how things were done Adamina stared at the five Blueprints she was given.  They came as a Starter Package with the Workshop. As long as she mastered them, she will be able to buy higher-level Blueprints.

~Pickaxe Blueprint!

~Spade Blueprint!

~Hammer Blueprint!

~WheelBarrow Blueprint!

~Boring Spindle Blueprint!

In Adamina's eyes, the hardest was Boring Spindle but she knew better, newbies struggled with Pickaxe which was considered the easiest!

The game system didn't recognise Trash Grade Blueprint, it viewed it as a defective product!

The Blueprints Grade starts with Common Grade and most newbie Blacksmith Apprentice will fail at making the Common. Then Uncommon and the rest, but NPCs have their ranking.

~Failures: those that can't be used at all. They were termed Scraps!

~Trash: those that can be used without the Aspects. They were termed Good ones!

~Common: those whose function was intact but have minor defects. They were termed Better ones!

~Uncommon: those that had no defects and their function was perfect. They were termed True Products!

To become a Blacksmith one has to make Uncommon tools with few failures.

After observing the Pickaxe Blueprint, Adamina clicked her tongue. On paper, making it was simple, but practically it was a bit hard.  One has to have a feel of all the materials and the process to acknowledge that.

"My Cute Blobby... transform to this, please!" With a smile, Adamina called upon her Artefact. As they were away from people's eyes, it transformed from staff to its slime form.

The Hazel Slime rolled slowly to the Uncommon Grade Pickaxe that was given for reference. It's also part of the Starter package of the Workshop!

Blobby wrapped the pickaxe inside its slimy body and after three minutes, the specs of the Pickaxe were presented to Adamina!

It also contained the valid procedure based on Adamina's capability and understanding.

This was her advantage, Blobby knew her strength and comprehension level, so it adjusted everything based on her. The information display was better than the one on the Blueprint.

"Good boy!" Adamina cheers.

More information was detailed under. Adamina read it again and again before she understood.

The pickaxes were tool devices that made mining easier by having the head vibrate at a frequency that broke rocks and ground with a lighter strike!

"It's better to try!" She said.

She picked Iron Ore and smelt it. Then she carved the wooden handle, that was the easiest.

The Energy Source was called a Vibo Device and was a round object similar to a coin. Adamina can't make that one. So it was one of the ready-made components.

As she prepared the handle and ready the Vibo device by her side, the iron was melting and when it was about to liquefy she threw in a Vibo Gem which was a core connector with the energy source ce

Together they melted.

Then she took the liquid iron and poured it into the Metal Shaper Machine and closed it. It will gradually cool and compress, better than being beaten by the hammer.

The Vibo Gem was integrated and made the solidified iron a bit reddish as the machine slid the head out.

"That was easy!"

She then assembled the Metal Head and the Wooden Handle and it immediately siphoned a lot of heat energy from the glowing Metal head to bond itself and harden.

The wooden handle became as hard as the metal and by touch one may not find the difference.

"Amazing! So, that is why it was called Iron Wood!"

The next thing was putting the Vibo device onto a small coin-size chamber on the metal head. This was the hard part, as the Vibo device behaved like Iron Wood and became strong as the metal head when inserted but before all that, it was very fragile!

Adamina delicately held the coin-size device and put it in the small chamber as she measured the gradual cooling of the Metal Head.

That was difficult, one had to insert the Vibo when the metal head was quickly cooling down. It was only at that moment it could bond successfully and activate the elements of Vibo Gem within the Metal Head.

Tuss!

"So that's how it happened!" She did everything correctly, only inserting was the problem.

"Most failed at assembling. I think I did good!" She cheered herself.

Then she repeated the process and due to Blobby, she was able to find her missteps. The Artefact read every move of her and pinpoint the place she was wrong.

After ten tries she was able to make Common Grade Pickaxe! It's a better quality Pickaxe that has (5/5) energy as opposed to (10/10).

She waited to get EXP but there was none. Common Grade was not registered with the Game System so there is no reward.

"Thankfully, forging a Common Grade made me comprehend the process better!" She mumbled. Then she tried to make another one before she called it off.

In just thirty-minute, she managed to incorporate the Vibo flawlessly.
