1 the Deads final words

the night was cold and silent. the winds howl as it blew through the tree leaves. Sarah starred out the window in a daze. reminiscing on her past life. the life she had before she got married and before she had children. she closed her eyes trying to get an image in her head of that life, and how happy she once was before it all fell apart. Before the depression truely kicked in.... sarah opened her eyes and turned away from the window. leaving her heavy heart to gaze alone at the moon. she walked over to her dresser, and starred down at a sheet of paper, she picked up a pen and signed underneath, divorce. she placed the pen down and opened the top drew. in the right corner she pulls out a white T-shirt, that had her old high school logo on it. a lion with yellow and blue outlines. she holds the t-shirt up to admire it for a moment, then she embraced it. she rubbed her face into the shirt. trying to get what little scent it had left of her past. a smile came across her face. just a little hint of the past was all she needed to ensure her, it was time. Sarah began to take off all her clothes she wore in the day, a black dress suit. once completely naked she starred at herself in the mirror, at her aging body, the gray hair, the loss skin. it was clear she's no longer the young beauty she once was. Sarah pulled the large old t-shirt over her head. the t-shirt was long enough to pass her hips, covering her whole upper and mid body. in that moment she felt refreshed. as if she went back in time to a happier place. the touch of the fabric against her skin, also brought back his touch. sarah walks into the bathroom over to the bathtub filled with water she prepared for herself... She puts her finger in the water to test the temperature, then sighs heavily as she stepped into the tub with only the t-shirt on.. she slowly sat herself down in the tub laying her back against the side of it. she leaned her head back on the edge of the tub. "tonight is a better night than any I guess." sarah said outloud to herself. sarah leans back farther slowly dragging her head and enitre body completely into the bath water. hoping to wash away all her pain, and maybe, just maybe she can face tomorrow. while still under water, sarah opened her eyes. she saw her T-shirt floating in the water waving around gracefully. sarah was mesmerized on how well the shirt danced with the water. it was as if the shirt itself was welcoming her, incouraging her. she knew in that moment, this was it... she raised her head out of the water and gasped for air. with her hands she wiped the remaining water off her face. she leaned half her body out of the tub over to the sink counter, and grab a razor blade. she quickly took the blade into her hands and slit both her wrists. she did it quickly so she wouldnt think to much about it and change her mind, as shes done many times before. almost as soon as she did it she questioned herself. but there was no turning back now. sarah laid her head back and dropped her arms into the tub water. she heard from somewhere, you bleed out faster in water. plus it's less messy for whoever found her. at least that's what she told herself. she felt her body get weak and the aches in her wrist sting. sarah turns her head attention to a journal that was sitting on the sink counter as well. it was her autobiography, and hopefully it would give her loved ones the answers they need to move on. sarah eyes slowly begins to close, she feels herself fading into nothingness.
