What is your plan for the future?

"What do you think?" Mika asked when Ryn did not say anything after several minutes. 

"I don't know. That's your and Jason's money. You can buy whatever you want," Ryn said finally. She knew it was not her place to disagree with the idea. She was not them and would not ever understand how they were thinking. If they wanted to spend a couple of million for a house that they might not spend a day there in a year, that's up to them.

Besides, she knew Jason could afford it. And if he couldn't, the Long would help too to cover the cost.

Mika pursed her lips but did not say a word. Ryn must be thinking it was a waste of money again but was too kind not to say it loudly. Hmph... She would not tell her best friend that Jeremy was looking for a house to gift her for the engagement later. She would see how Ryn would react when she learned about it.
