Thinking further into the future

Ryn arranged the cleaned dishes in the cabinet after she wiped them clean. She looked at him who helped her with the dishes. She gave him a grateful smile.

"You should go have a shower," he told her. He wanted to scoop her up in his arms and carried her to the bathroon but she was faster than him and made a beeline to the bathroom. All she could think of right now was to take a shower quickly so she could finally go to sleep.

He followed behind her, thinking he could take another shower, this time with her, but he found himself locked out of the bathroom. He could only scratch his head in disbelief but he was not angry at all.

He went to sit on the edge of the bed and waited for her to be done. He could not fall asleep because he needed to dry her hair once she was done with her shower.

He did not wait for long. She came out wrapped in a bathrobe and her hair was tied up in a messy bun.
