In the end, Ryn was the one who cooked the congee while Mika tried to help by preparing the bowl and spoon. She also rummaged in the refrigerator to take out two big bowls of milk pudding and a small container of watermelon cubes and another container of strawberries and grapes. 

Ryn watched as her best friend tried her hardest not to be a burden instead of supporting her mentally and physically.

Ryn scooped the already-cooked congee into the smaller bowls and handed them to Mika. Mika carried the bowls carefully to the dining table while Ryn turned her attention to make the drink for them.

Mika waited at the dining table, excited to have the congee made by her best friend. It has been too long for her to eat the food her best friend made.

Ryn joined her at the dining table, holding a jug of iced chocolate drink. 

Mika clapped her hands like a little girl, so unlike her real status as the Young Madam Wu or Young Mistress Long.
