Ch : 9 A conversation with Mom

Now , it was Monday today but Alisia didn't went school , as she was feeling not better then yesterday's event with Steven.

So, she stayed up at home only .

At 6 ' o clock.

Ring Ring.....

Anna calling Alisia.

Anna - Alisia, are you coming today?

Alisia - No, Anna actually I am not feeling quite well today . So not'll be coming today.

Anna - Doesn't matter. But you are Ok . That is great . Recover fast. Sorry but I'll not be able to come today to meet you.

Alisia - Anna don't worry. I'm fine and will be great till tomorrow. Ok.

Anna - Bye ..

Alisia didn't put her phone down until it beeped up due to hang up. Now she was too bored. She thought of resting for some time . Actually It was her monthly time for the pain so she was upset.

12:45 pm

Alisia stood up to study. Till now she was too bored and also became so painful.

A knock at the door . It was nobody else except Lisa.

Lisa - Big sis , you had said yesterday that come tomorrow and meet .

So , for the last time not to open my mouth in front of mom you have to give me something.

Alisia was so much distressed that she doesn't want to talk to anyone

She yelled at Lisa .

"Lisa , now what do you want from me ?" said Alisia.

"Nothing much but just a dress from you ." said Lisa very calmly.

"Ok, take that green one . It doesn't suit me well ." said Alisia in a very slight tone.

She was not in a fighting mood as well that green dress which she gave also not liked by her , so she gave it simply.

Lisa opened her wardrobe and took the green dress , because it is better to have something than nothing . Then she left quietly without disturbing much Alisia.

Not Lisa but every other girl wants to look stunning just like their sisters in front of everyone. So , it was natural for her to take one .

It was 7' o clock now.

Alisia , her mother and her sister were eating dinner.

Her father died few years back in an accident while driving back home from office.Till that day Alisia's mother was working hard to serve her two daughters well . She expects girls to be more powerful and independent than boys.

Anyways...

On the dinner table..

Lisa - Mom , I want to tell you something about Sis.

Mother - yeah , what ?

Alisia looked at Lisa with a worried look she shake her head slightly at Lisa to convey her not to say anything.

Alisia - Nothing much mom.

But Lisa continued.

Lisa - Mom actually it's Alisia's monthly periods today yet she studied this afternoon on her studying table.

Alisia took a sigh of relief.

Mother became worried because after her husband passed away . No one was there to take care of her and her two daughters.

Mom - Baby , why do you work so much ? I only have two of you in my life now . I Know you are weak at Maths . Is Steven not helping you now much?

said their mother with worriedness.

Alisia - "No mom I was just completing my work left .

( After listening Steven's name she moved her face down to look at her vegetable congee , just stirring it. She said )

No, mom he is helping me out now and then. "

Their conversation stopped.

Lisa and her sister left towards their bedroom after having dinner.

And their mother cleaned the dishes and then she also went to her bedroom.
