Chapter 4 : Ex

I was still thinking of what my parents could have talked with Mr and Mrs Curtis. I was worried cause I don't want to get close to anyone. I can't let history repeat from my what happened in my past. I still miss that one person who was dear to my heart but they wouldn't....

It was my first year in middle school and I had no friends in this school. I was alone until she showed up. Clarissa, she was my best friend and was like a sister to me. We were inseparable and would only be with together. But our first day in third year, she walked up to me with another girl, Emliy, she was the popular girl and everyone wanted to be her friend. Clarissa said " Hey ang. We should... stop being you know. Cause I want to move ahead but you wouldn't so I'm sorry." I was thinking about what I did wrong. I started to tear up and I ran away. I ran into the ladies room and cried really hard.

I wanted to know what I did wrong and what I can do to still be her friend. I didn't want to let her go. Was it because I got the position of class president and was it that you wanted that position? Or was it because of me getting better grades than you? I really wanted to know and what I saw made sense. The next day, Clarissa was hanging out with Emily. She avoided me and even didn't speak to me about class matters. I was hurt of her behaviour and I just wanted to die than rather being alone. After that, I never had any friends because I lock my heart up. No wanting to get hurt or getting betrayed.

It better to act as if I don't have a intead of getting it broken. But this time it could be more different. And I may love the experience of having a true friend. But I'm still scared to have another friend. I'm scared of getting my heart broken again.

But I might as well give it a shot again... It might be different this time.
