Chapter 3 : Angie

As I walked in class, I noticed that the teacher had already entered class. She looked at me as if she was expecting me and she allowed Victor to head to his seat as if she knew about what had happened. She gathered the classroom's attention and let me introduce myself. " I... I..." I shuttered but as I looked at Victor I suddenly felt more braver that ever and said " Hello I'm Angelica Barker and it is a pleasure to meet you. I hope to get along" . The teacher assigned me to sit at the desk in front of Victor's. Then the class resumed as in it's usual way.

It was lunch break and I was alone. Then a girl and a guy walked up to me and the girl said " Hi Angelica, I'm Susana and this is Lee. We're you're classmates and we hoped to be you're friends". They invited me to lunch with them. We sat at a table at the far end of the canteen. " So how's class?" Susana asked and I said " It's alright". We talked for a while until bell rang and walked to our classroom together. " Getting along" said Victor mysteriously while suddenly appearing behind my ear. I jumped while screaming not too loudly " How are you this mysterious?". I was scared like a ghost just appeared. " My skill " he replied. And I was more shock than before because that was the first time he replied back to me with more that a word.

Class started and ended in a flash. I packed up my things and headed out with Victor. I asked him " What's up with you? Why are you suddenly kind to me?". He said " Because you don't know about this place and my mom made me promise to take care of you". I couldn't help but laughed at the fact that he is a mama's boy. He didn't care and stayed quiet until we got home. I went in my house and saw Mrs Curtis and Mr Curtis chatting up with mom and dad. Then there was a knock. I opened the door and saw Victor. " The house key" he asked reaching his hand out at Mrs Curtis. " Stay and talk to Angelica" said Mrs Curtis. " Yeah Angie. You should interact with Victor more" said mom. I was blushing hard because my mom never called me embarrassing nicknames in front of friends, worst part is that he is a guy. I was real embarrassed but Victor still didn't care.
