18 Rose Renovation

I don't know when will the Lotus Town's economy and mineral production will stabilize, but I can be certain that once it does, the mineral supplies will explode. As such, I will have to be prepared for it.

If possible, I want to even introduce it to other nations so the demand for the supply will be huge while restraining it's distribution as much as possible, making it improbable for the price to sink.

Especially the precious minerals that can be said as rare in the outside world. Those golds, platinums, and any minerals that can be use for luxurious jewelries or special functionalities.

Using that, I will be able to control the flow of trade, not only within the empire but possibly in the known world. And while I'm thinking at it, I headed for the shore.

Upon arriving, I immediately click [Infrastructure], and there, a numerous option of buildings that can provide efficient use of the raw products that is produced by my territory.

This includes the [Shipyard] that I will be using to build ships. And of course, this is not the same as the harbor or docks in Rose Town. The [Shipyard] according to its description and my knowledge is a facility where ships are made, maintained, or repaired. This includes the workers who specialized in ship manufacturing or lumberjacks that is required for high quality woodplanks that can be used for better ships.

And it seems this facility alone can take upto 10 workers, it's almost twice as much as townhall staffs. But if maximizing its workforce can also produce better equipments then I don't really have much of a problem regarding that.

Thus, I clicked for the [Shipyard] and place the large facility just ashore. Then instantly after the magical dust which became a cliche disappear, a huge building similar to a warehouse but with a yard where a frigate can fit just exactly, appear.

Though I am a bit astonished by the sheer size of this building, I didn't further delay things, and immediately added a maximum of 10 workers that will be working here.

After that, I left for my next work. It seems it will even take them more than a days or weeks to make a full sailing ship.

The next work will include the [Sewage System] of this town.

In Edelweiss, buildings can be considered as rundown. Some are even obviously deteriorating by simply looking at it. However, in this town, it's a special case.

Except for it being a rundown, some facilities, residential building, and any town service buildings that I built before that I had yet to reconstruct smells incredibly bad. I have even mentioned it before but it seems they are yet to identify such simple issue.

The town's [Sewage System] that connects from the inner town towards the lake just a few meters away from it is just right below the town. I developed it before so that the freshness of the town can bring benefit for the people's health.

That's how the game's mechanics works after all. Give them good health insurance, you are repaid by income. Then you will give it to them in the end so you can gain more income. It's just like a loop.

Now, to reconstruct the entire [Sewage System] , some might think that, since it's underground, I have to remove every building that blocks me from interacting to the outlines of the sewage. However, that is not the case.

Unlike buildings, [Sewage asystem] is a bit similar to roads. To which it can overlap to any building as long as it doesn't go deep. But that's not the point, the [Sewage System] is similar to the road because of its outline.

As if I am still in a game, the outline of the [Sewage System], is as if systematically programmed to become one. When I pressed it in my [Infrastructure], an outline that stretches across my vision appear. Giving me the full view of where I can connect, disconnect, remove, or create another sewage canals.

In my vision, I can see the two different colors. The green ones that I can freely place the sewage canals which can be stretched according to my desire, and the orange ones that limits my ability to do with the reason of the canals being already present in this place.

That's the case in the [Sewage System], it's as if the world just turned to a virtual holograph.

Now, I did say I will reconstruct the [Sewage System]. But that doesn't mean that I will merely replace the orange canals and finish it like that. No.

What I want to do is completely erase the entire [Sewage System] and replace a newer version of it, making it looks like an untouched place, free of mice, rat, or any animals that lurk below urban sewage.

So, without further ado, I deleted all of the canals by simply dragging the cursor across my vision. The green ones that are empty of sewage but has building are of course left unmarked by the cursor.

[World Edit: Confirm Deletion? Y/N]

I pressed yes once it appears as if it was the most normal thing to do. And just like what happen in the shipyard creation, a magical dust appear, and instantly after that, the entire [Sewage System] of Rose town disappear. As if it didn't really exist in the first place.

And now with it gone, my vision was left with shining green lines, indicating that there is no more of a sewage. And this is a bad thing.

Then, my vision returned to normal. With me, now overlooking Rose town just above of the [Row Houses].

With the town still operating with or without the sewage, it could end badly if I didn't move quickly. Thus, immediately after the sewage disappear, I clicked the [Infrastructure] once more, and right after that, I pressed the [Sewage System] where upon clicking, the green outlines appear.
