27 Godforsaken human

It was really exhausting to deal with these kinds of people.

Even in my past life, I used to deal with them despite being the one who mostly cause the trouble. And for the record, I am always the one who get the blames.

It's not even a month since I came here and I have received nothing but bad events that practically ruins my plan to understand human value.

Well, yeah. I actually did learn something from them apart from the killings which I dealt that only made me more of a psychotic person who laughs at their suffering than a person who genuine wants to change.

I sigh in dejection as I use my left arm to get ahold of my heavy forehead before finally arriving to my destination—the conference room.

Before opening, I first fixed the tie I was wearing. Upon checking it's perfection, I opened the door.

What meets me is the two guard I have ordered to watch over the unconscious figure lying on the ground.

The one is the lady knight who named herself as Elizabeth, while the other is... I have no idea, I have already forgotten.

"How did they fair?" Soon after entering, I asked the two, which they immediately reply with a nod and,

"They remain unconscious, but the lady knight seem to have improve since you left. The captain knight's condition on the other hand seems to be worsening. Possibly due to his broken bones and destroyed organs." Viena replied.

I nod in an approving manner before walking towards the two unconscious figure. I then drop the 2nd lady knight on the ground which result to her groaning from the pain.

"Watch her."

Once I arrive in front of the captain knight, I held the top of his head.

Immediately after, he woke up.

"W-w-what... What happened?!!"

It seems that despite the fact that I have healed him, he is still incapable of thinking straight. Thus, I gave his head a little flick which caused him to stumble a few feet away.

"You died... Or almost."

While holding his reddening, burning forehead, he glare directly at me after hearing my words.

The man tried to stand up while also reaching does sword, however, I didn't heal his limbs. This cause the man to collapse before he could even try to kneel.

The man cries in pain, mutter a few curse, then look at me again as if blaming me for the foolishness he had done.

Then for another attempt, he grab ahold of his weapon from his side which was left unattended by the guard and tried to throw the blade towards me.

But alas, his power is still not enough. His arm that he used to hold the heavy weapon, collapsed upon carrying it. This in turn, made a cracking sound from his hands.

"W-W-What have you done to me?!!! D-do you know who I am!!?"

The man cries, tears started to flow due to the pain he's feeling as we speak. Then finally found the mental strength to speak to me. However, it was disappointing.

Though I did not really expect something from a man like him, I am still disappointed.

He is a high rank officer, a captain who leads his member and give commands. And such man should possess a logical personality, am I right?

Such as, being a rational, practical person, not a person who depends in his emotion and upon failure, use it as a chance to blame others.

That's no leader, that's a person with a caliber of a snake, or perhaps, a rat.

Much worse, this man must be one of those people.

A type of people who probably got their riches and power from the connection they have, then brag about it. And utilize it in this kind of situation.

I sigh.

"I don't, and I don't care, sadly."

I made a mocking face. The man, upong seeing my reaction, burst in anger once more completely forgetting about the pain he's suffering.

As soon as I gave my answer, I instantly reach for the man's forehead once more. Since I have a plan, I don't have intention on further pursuing nonsensical subject any longer.

Wasting each second means a less chance of my plan's successful execution. It could also trigger a serious side effect that could potentially ruin my over all action. I don't even have that leeway in this kind of situation especially when I am being relied upon by my people.

These people chose violence, and I heard my people's call.

"We only meant peace, yet here you are..."

My eyes glow in fury, my index finger point towards the man's forehead. Soon after, a magical dust appear from it and immediately travel through the confused man's head.

Instantly after the magic dust vanishing, the man's eye rolled up, his face detoriated, making it impossible to read a normal expression from him.

"G-Gaaahggh?!! HAAAA!!"

The magic I activated is a mind altering power that exhibit it's force through mind invasion. It is a power that may not be as powerful as the other magic I had shown, but still capable of playing a big role in events such as this.

Why is that?

That's because it is a power that enables me to see through the target's entire memory. At a cost of the target's insanity, and possibly, life.

Since the beginning, I have no intention of making this man a hostage of mine. I have judged that he is not worth to be held in the process of angering other noble family.

Well, maybe that's actually my plan, I have no idea.

And it betrays me not, my expectation are all actually match on.

In his memory, this man is nothing but a scum, a rat, a hideous person who knows nothing of his life but to ruin another's. He was born to do it, to bring malice to others.

He even got his position based solely from his connection. Though he is a baron's son, he is still a merchant's family member, thus, giving him a lot of opportunity to meet higher member of the society.

This gave him the chance to build connection, leading him up to this point, with his crimes at his back, unseen from the eyes of the public. This man is the embodiment of disgust that doesn't deserve a single peck of mercy.

The man stoop so low to even rape little girls, force married women to commit adultery, torture men and women for his selfish entertainment.

"Milord, are you alright?"

Ah... It seems I was found out.

Viena look at me with a worried expression, her angelic eyes made my growing anger diminish slightly. And the reason of that is because I am currently making a face of horror that any person shouldn't see.

A cold, daggering eyes, wicked smile, and a complex expression no one can understand. But the most thing that must've exposed my inner intention is the aura that I am radiating.

"This man... He doesn't deserve a civilized, or even a humane treatment... They deserve to die in the most painful way there could ever be.

Tell me, Viena, my dear servant, where is this Topper territory?"

I have to give a another example.

A dreadful one that will make me look like a demon king who destroy his enemy once and for all.
