A huge sparrow shaped dark spaceship was passing through the planets, meteor and from one star system to another like a comet. It speed almost reaching Mach 15. The ship was half destroyed and was almost on the verge of collapse.

At the control room of the ship a man drenched in blood was lying on the captain chair with seat beat across his wounded body, the belt seemed like a bandage preventing excess blood loss, his clothes were torn apart and he would be naked if not for the boxer pant, every part of his body seemed to be covered with all sort of wounds like long and deep scars and small holes. Some were small whereas some were life threatening for normal peoples but he was still alive which one could verify from his chest moving heavily up and down.

His gaze was lifeless and he seemed to be lost. From his facial expression it looked like he wanted to end his life then and there but was still hanging by a last strand as if some force were trying to pull him from the abyss of hell and would not allow him to leave this plane. Not yet.

His vision were slowly regaining their life and just as he was about to reminisce his happy moments with her, he felt his body temperature rising and his ship heavily vibrating. He snapped his eyes open and what he saw left him flabbergasted. His whole ship was covered in flames as he realized he just entered the upper atmosphere of a dark black planet with red glow all over the place.

"What are you doing? Activate the auto pilot mode."

"You gotta be kidding me."

He moved groaning from pain and when he saw the dead terminal, he realized he was f*cked. His ship was death maybe due to spatial vortex. He saw the ground rapidly approaching and his ship was collapsing.

He gritted his teeth, he knew if he didn't do anything then he would be turn into meat paste and then into an ash a second later. He willed all the remaining power he could muster and punched a hole through the wall and jumped. His sparrow crashed at the top of the skyscraper and he crashed at the foot of building.

"aahhhhh." He groaned in pain and fainted from all the physical and emotional pain he suffered.

Some time later

I slowly opened my eyes and through the blur all I could see was red. For a moment I thought I was already dead and all that I could remember were those promises I made to her which I could not fulfill now. Slowly my vision cleared but I could not care less. All i could think of were how she was? Was she okay?, Did she manage to leave? But I could do nothing.

Slowly my mind cleared and the hell I thought was actually flowing lava like river which was likely due to the destroyed core of the planet. I looked around and saw many tall building which were almost destroyed, some primitive technologies which were likely the remains of the those that once lived here. Well they deserved what they did.

Crawling toward the wall of skyscraper I positioned myself against the wall and saw the notification which were about two days old. As soon as I saw them, a bitter smile appeared in my face. Just as I thought I was stranded in who knows were in this half dead state. Although I seemed to have recovered a little due to some rest, it was still not enough.

The details of the star system where I was thrown by the space vortex made me unhappy, I was very tired from all those fights and heavily wounded and I knew my body was slowly dying from all those injuries even though I recovered from superficial injuries if I did not immediately heal myself I would die in a month at most.

It seems that escape backfired and heavily at that, well for one I was still alive. Frowning I tilted my head upward and saw a single star in the the sky, a single star system I noted.

I analyzed my surrounding. It was a barren land without a single moving soul as far as I could see there were only rivers of lava and ruins. I need to explore this planet as fast as possible and find something that could help me heal. Her face flashed again. I gritted my teeth I could not die, not here, not like this.

I knew if I used my powers carelessly when I was so heavily injured I would suffer from a strong backlash but what other choice do I have. I will die eventually if I keep waiting here for someone to appear out of thin air in this godforsaken place, so it was best to die trying.

Breathing deeply and calming myself, I focused all my energy and blinked toward the stratosphere of the planet and what I saw left me speechless and shocked. The planet was covered in large crater and the other side of the planet from where I was previously was disintegrating.

Anxiety started to develop deep inside my heart, even though I tried my very best to stay calm I could not. All my hopes were shattered instantly, my heart beat slowly started increasing and before I knew it I lost control of my power and started falling.

'F*ck!'

I tried to calm my heart and subdue the building anxiety but it was all for naught, just as I was thinking of a way to compose myself, I heard loud noise like rumbling thunder from my left, I tilted my head and saw a thunderstorm approaching me and before I knew it I was engulfed and a strong wind threw me god knows where.

After some time when I opened my eyes I was above a old destroyed city of unimaginable size and I lost myself in the admiration and shock but soon snapped myself out of the daze because if I did not, I would be death falling before dying from injuries. I stabilized myself and blinked toward the ground. Suddenly a strong pain assaulted me, I turn I face I could see blood oozing out like fountain, my arm was f*cking ripped apart.

'Shit'

I somehow put some medicine and bandaged, almost instantly the blood stopped if my arm was still around I could re attach it, but it was probably already ash.

huff huff huff

Gritting my teeth I slowly dropped on the ground.

sigh! crack! crack!

I was about to take a deep breathe of relief from imminent death, I heard a cracking noise and my face turned pale because if what I thought happened then I was a goner. Jumping on my feet, I closed my eyes and entered my consciousness and the fear turned into reality as my conscious space was slowly dissipating.

I collapsed with tears streaming down my cheek and stayed at the same position for hours. After a while calming myself down I crawled my body rested myself against the wall and looked toward the sky absentmindedly.

I think this is it then huh?, Am I going to die in this place without buried at that, what did I do to deserve this. There were many things that I have not done yet.

A sudden noise snapped me out of my daze, from the corner of my eyes I could see a man with blue eyes approaching toward me. I guess its not my end yet.
