1 First time meeting

"Tina, are you gonna be at the club tonight?" asked a female voice through the phone.

"Mmh, I don't know... who's gonna pay?" answered the girl with a laugh.

The street was getting crowded and people were mostly looking on their phones.

Bump

Crash

The sound of a phone breaking made the girl look up. A man was standing in front of her looking down at his feet.

"I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking..." she justified.

"Eh. Don't worry, I wasn't looking either... These things break so easy, it's a miracle it lasted this much..." said the guy kneeling to salvage what was left of his phone.

Standing up he gave a brilliant smile, showing no resentment. Shocked by the dazzling smile, Tina kept quiet with her mouth slightly open.

This man in front of her is sure one fine looking man!

"Miss, you okay?" asked the man slightly worried.

"Uhm, yes. I'm fine. Sorry. - she looked at her phone and looked at the time - I'm supposed to have a lesson in less than 30 minutes..." she explained.

"Oh, I'm sorry Miss. School is important, I shouldn't keep you." he said troubled.

"Mr, how old do you think I am?" Tina asked with a frown.

"Highschooler?" asked with a shrug.

She laughed so hard, tears were actually coming out of her eyes.

"Nope. I'm actually 25!" exclaimed the girl. "How old are you?"

"Me too. I'm 25." answered the man with a smile of relief on his face.

Her phone started ringing, reminding her of the impending appointment. That stupid professor of hers wouldn't miss on scolding her for being late.

"I really have to go. - she said sadly - It was nice meeting you..."

"Call me Giulio. Miss?" offering his hand.

"Everybody calls me Tina." she answered shaking his hand, then she gave her business card to the man.

"If you can repair your phone, send me the import. I feel bad for breaking it."

"No, it's not necessary."

"Still. You should call me sometimes!" she said with a wink and left.

Giulio turned but lost her in the sea of people. He smiled.

This new city was already growing on him.
