3 Chapter 3 - Ye Ziyun

'Why does he take so long?! I've been waiting here for so long already' Ye Ziyun complained inwardly.

The whole day was filled with Ye Feng's change, Ye Feng had always been a weird person to her, he never talked much, he didn't do anything except training his body and being a bodyguard for her and did everything she wanted if needed to.

''Ye Ziyun?''

Ye Ziyun shook out of her daze and looked at the boy walking towards her, his figure was perfect in the eyes of many people and his height made him look like a 16 year old.

When Ye Ziyun looked at his eyes she noticed his gaze was still the same as this morning.

''Ye Ziyun? Are you okay?'' Ye Feng asked, why was this girl spacing out so much?

''Ah! Yes, anyway, where were you?'' Ye Ziyun quickly changed the topic.

''I was in the Library''

''In the Library? Since when did you start going there?'' Ye Ziyun asked with a confused expression, Ye Feng had never showed much interest in going to the Library, yet now he went there exactly on the day she thought he changed.

''I was trying to figure out some Inscriptions for tomorrow'' Ye Feng gave her a basic excuse and walked past her and opened his door.

''Hey, wait a second!'' Ye Ziyun stopped him and stood in front of the door and continued, ''Are you trying to avoid me or something?''

''Why would I want to avoid you? If anything, I would like to be closer to you but I'm scared your father would send me to the mines or something'' Ye Feng joked.

''Ah.... He truly might do that'' Ye Ziyun's eyes twitched and let out a bitter and lonely smile.

Ye Feng's eyes turned warm and gave her a soft flick on her forehead.

''What was that for?!'' Ye Ziyun pouted which made her look extremely adorable and almost made Ye Feng have to reconsider about holding onto his morals since she was still 13....

''Don't overthink everything, how about being friends instead of this bodyguard relationship?'' Ye Feng said with a warm smile.

Ye Ziyun was slightly stunned and looked down for a moment before looking at him with hopeful eyes.

''You mean it?''

''Sure, just come inside'' Ye Feng said and pointed at his door which made Ye Ziyun's cheeks turn red.

''I meant the garden has a seating area in the back, it is better than just standing out here'' Ye Feng explained himself while rubbing his head, he truly had to get used to girls from this place....

''Ahh... Ye-...i mean, sure'' Ye Ziyun stepped aside and let Ye Feng lead the way inside the house.

Ye Ziyun's heart was pumping at a ridiculous pace, she had never been inside the house of a boy before!

Heck, not even the house of a girl but still!

As they walked through the small hall, Ye Feng took off his shoes and Ye Ziyun followed although she was confused as to why he did so.

'The girls at school said that a boy's room was always extremely messy but Ye Feng's house is extremely clean' Ye Ziyun thought to herself as she entered the Living Room.

A big couch, a desk near the window and an open kitchen which made it somehow extremely welcoming to her.

''The door to the garden is right there, I will be right back'' Ye Feng said as he walked into the kitchen to grab them something to drink.

Ye Ziyun absentmindedly went to an open door and entered it, a big bed, a walk-in closet..... This was his bedroom!

'Wrong room!' Ye Ziyun's eyes went round and quickly wanted to walk backwards but heard Ye Feng in the living room.

''Ye Ziyun?''

'What do I do? What do I do?!' Ye Ziyun's head started to spin as she thought about the consequences, 'What if he thinks I'm a weird person? What if he thinks I'm some pervert?!'

Ye Feng had long since realized Ye Ziyun had entered his bedroom and he doubted that she would do it on purpose but why should he stop it?

This was Top-Tier teasing material!

Ye Ziyun slowly heard Ye Feng's footsteps coming closer while calling her name and she quickly made her choice, she had to hide!

She quickly looked around the room and dove under the bed.

Ye Feng entered his room and noticed a small piece of cloth sticking out under his bed and grinned and just sighed....

''It seems she isn't here, I guess I will look at the front door, maybe she is still there'' Ye Feng turned around and walked towards the backdoor.

Upon seeing Ye Feng's feet disappear, Ye Ziyun quickly moved from under the bed and ran to the backdoor.

She quickly opened it and walked to the seating area, only to find Ye Feng there sitting with a normal expression while sipping on some juice.

''Took you long enough'' Ye Feng said with a smile yet not quite a smile on his face.

''I...i...'' Ye Ziyun tried to explain herself while her face was getting red and began stammering.

''Don't worry, even if you're a bit weird, I won't dislike you'' Ye Feng said in a 'compassionate' voice.

''I'm not! I... I was just checking out the floor!'' Ye Ziyun said while turning her head away, unable to make eye-contact with Ye Feng.

''Did you have to climb under my bed for that?'' Ye Feng said with a raised eyebrow and a teasing smile on his face.

''Y-you!'' Ye Ziyun glared at him in anger and embarrassment, he had seen her!

''Don't worry, I won't tell anyone'' Ye Feng said while nodding at her.

''Ye Feng, can I bite you?'' Ye Ziyun suddenly asked with a threatening expression and bared her teeth.

''You're too young for that right now, besides, you shouldn't bite unless it's in my neck'' Ye Feng taught her, what if she suddenly bit down there? Just thinking about it made his balls hurt.

Ye Ziyun slightly tilted her head side-ways, unable to understand what Ye Feng meant but just shrugged it off.

The two of them kept talking about all kinds of random stuff, Ye Ziyun got more comfortable and stopped being tense around Ye Feng.

Ye Feng was someone she grew up with but he always seemed so.... cold.

Not especially to her, to everyone and seeing this change, she was happy!

She finally had a friend again that wanted to be friends with her not because her father was the City Lord!

In school, most people wanted her because of her status or her beauty, she wasn't stupid and naturally noticed the obscene gazes she was getting but just ignored them.

It was already dark outside and Ye Feng grabbed a Light Stone and placed on a holder which gave it a warm atmosphere while the two people talked.

The chairs they were sitting on were shaped like half-moons so both of them were covered in a blanket while they just talked and stared at the stairs.

''Ye Feng?'' Ye Ziyun suddenly said with her eyes half closed, it was already around 1 A.M and both of them didn't have any intentions of leaving, who cared anyway? They had spent every day together since they were 4 years old so this shouldn't be considered weird, right?

''Yes?'' Ye Feng said while looking at the book in his hands.

''Why did you suddenly change so much?'' Ye Ziyun asked, this question had bothered her the whole day!

She would've never imagined she would be this close with Ye Feng, ever, his cold personality and robotic way of living was just too much but suddenly he changed in this happy, down-to-earth person which made her feel at home.

'Home... what a weird feeling....' Ye Ziyun thought to herself while hiding her face in her knees, a small smile appeared on her face.

''You could say I was asleep at that point I guess? It's like I woke up'' Ye Feng said after thinking for a bit.

''So this is the real you?'' Ye Ziyun asked in a hopeful voice.

''Yes, this is the real me'' Ye Feng said with a smile on his face.

''I'm glad'' Ye Ziyun said in a small voice.

''Someone is coming!'' Ye Feng suddenly said and sprung up while standing in front of Ye Ziyun.

'That is some Killing Intent' Ye Feng knew a bit from his memories about Killing Intent and although the old him had killed some beasts like Horned Sheep but this Killing Intent was like a mountain weighing down on him.
