Li Ming quickly arrived home to take a hot bath and wash off all the blood of the demonic beasts, but he was surprised when he saw a little purple-haired beauty waiting at his door.

"What took you so long? I've been waiting here for a while already," Ye Ziyun lamented, seeing he arrival.

Especially Ye Ziyun's gaze, he couldn't help but go into her mysterious purple eyes, which seemed to contain an entire world...

''Ye Ziyun? Are you okay? Li Ming asked, because this girl was getting so far away from the conversation.

''Ah! Yes, anyway, where were you?'' Ye Ziyun quickly changed the subject, trying to hide the blush that had formed on her cheeks.

"I was in the library, I had things to do," Li Ming replied indifferently, after all he had no reason to explain his secrets.

"In the library? Since when did you start going there?" Ye Ziyun asked with a confused expression, Li Ming had never shown much interest in going to the library, she usually allied her body.

''I was trying to figure out some inscriptions for tomorrow,'' Li Ming told her with a simple excuse and walked past her with the intention of opening the door to her house, but was stopped before he could do so.

"Hey, wait a minute!" Ye Ziyun stopped him, stood in front of the door and continued, "Are you trying to avoid me or what?"

"Why would I want to avoid you? If anything, I'd like to be closer to you, but I'm afraid your father will send me to the mines or something," Li Ming joked.

"Don't think too much about everything, how about being friends instead of this bodyguard relationship?" Li Ming said with a warm smile.

Ye Ziyun was slightly astonished and lowered her gaze for a moment before looking at him with eyes full of hope and expectation, "Do you mean it?"

Seeing the little girl's embarrassed retreat, Li Ming could not help but have a small laugh, thinking that she had not changed much since she was little and remained adorable.
