Compared to the Nine Revolving Ice Phoenix technique that Nie Li wants to give Ye Ziyun, the Crystal Form Ice Phoenix is significantly more powerful in combat, its offensive ability being far stronger.
Shen Yue knew that it was a far more suitable and better cultivation technique for Ye Ziyun. He was glad that he delayed things and didn't give Ye Ziyun the same technique that Nie Li would. Originally, Shen Yue had a plan of clearing Ye Ziyun's debt of gratitude toward Nie Li by replacing Nie Li's Nine Revolving Ice Phoenix technique with another top-tier technique, but this way was even better.
