Chapter 2.

Birth.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Darkness was the only thing Azrael could 'see' at the moment... Utterly dark, no source of light and no source of sound to even give him a hint that this reincarnation deal worked. His feeling of hope and excitement died down not to long after, realizing that he was probably just imagining things when it came to God and his wishes.
*Nope. Don't worry about it young man. Your reincarnation worked, right now you are just in the womb. Just a few moments away from being born... That is all. Just felt like I should explain to you your situation before you start doubting me more. Goodbye young man.*
Azrael's none existent eyes widened as he looked around frantically, unknowingly causing pain to his new mother.
...
On the Continent of Dicathen. Kingdom of Sapin.
Lying on a giant golden lined bed, with red sheets and white blanket, was a woman of what one could only describe as pure beauty.
Her pitch black glossy hair, her spotless smooth porcelain-like skin and dark teal eyes only seemed to add to her charm. This woman was none other then Priscilla Glayder.
The Queen of the Sapin Kingdom. Right now, she was going through labor with her first child, to her right was multiple maids all worried but serious as they were prepared to do anything to help the Queen during her time of need.
On her left was a man of tall stature, he had a rough face with wrinkles under his eyes, showing that he was later into his life... Most likely in his thirties to forties.
Said man had sharp and demanding, but compassionate and soft complexion. He had red eyes as well as fiery red hair.
"Just hold on Priscilla, you can do this!" He shouted, trying to motivate his wife. This man was Blaine Glayder. The King of the Sapin Kingdom. Worry and expectance could be seen deep within his eyes as he watched his wife wail in pain.
The pain from birth was said to be the worse thing in the world. Though it's probably different in this world.
"Arrrrgh!" Priscilla whined, pushing once more. The nurse in the room widened her eyes when she saw babies head.
"Come on madam! Just one more push!" The nurse exclaimed, drawing a surprised and excited expression from Blaine. Priscilla, however, didn't seem as enthusiastic as her husband. She was tired, hurting and most of all, pissed.
Her husband had gotten her pregnant and put her through this hardship, although it was mutual agreement that they should start having children so they have someone to pass the crown too, but it doesn't change the fact that Blaine did this to her...
Plus, she disliked the thought of having so many maids see her... Private areas.
However! She persevered and took in a deep breath, preparing herself for her hardest and hopefully, last push.
"Hnnng!" Closing her eyes, Priscilla pushed with all her might. The nurse delivering the birth of the first royal prince, prepared herself to be able to safely deliver the baby as well as present the child to her Majesty swiftly.
"...Wahhhh!~" And out came a child... Already crying and throwing a fit as soon as he came out of the womb.
"Haa, Haa... I-is my baby okay? Let me see my baby..." Priscilla demanded, tiredly. Blaine smiled softly as he made his way around the bed and over towards the nurse, looking at his child he couldn't help but be full of joy.
His red eyes beamed with light as he stared at the child that stopped crying to study him as well. Blaine watched the teal eyes of his child watch him curiously, he even reached out towards his face at one point.
Smiling, Blaine reached out as well, but was stopped inches from the babies hand by the nurse. Looking at her confused, Blaine asked.
"What are you doing? Am I not allowed to touch my own child?" He asked, a bit annoyed that the nurse interrupted his moment.
The nurse gulped before she hurriedly shook her head.
"N-no sir! I-It's just that... Usually during birth, the mother is the first one to toucher the child... And well-"
"I understand. My wife was the one who went through the terrible pain to deliver this child. I will abide." Blaine spoke, cutting the nervous nurse off. The nurse let out a relieved smile as she carried the Prince towards his mother.
Reaching out, Priscilla received her baby boy within her arms. A soft motherly smile plastered on her face as she stared into her babies, curious and intelligent eyes...
A tear made its way out of her left eye as her smiled softened even more. Keeping eye contact with her child, she spoke.
"Blaine? What should we name him?"
Blaine's eyes widened a bit with surprise. He didn't expect her to allow him to suggest names, but he happily answered anyway.
"Let's name him... Azrael."
