My mum, Bryley joined.
"God mum how many times do I have to tell you- stop learning the lyrics to songs I like!" I whined as I turned the song off.
"Kehlani baby, how many times do I have to tell you I can do what I want." Mum grinned.
I mentally facepalmed as I stared at my mother dancing like a maniac. I thought about joining her then decided against it as I knew that she was probably recording it and that she'd use it against me later on in the week if she wanted something from me.
"Kehlani" I watched the smile on my mums face fade away as she looks at me hastily.
"Yes, mum?" I muttered nervously.
What have I done now that's made my mum worried?
"Baby, I need you to be honest with me. What's wrong?" She asked
"Mum I'm fine everything's all right" I lied. One thing you should know about me is that I can't lie without raising my eyebrow. So my mum sometimes knows when I'm lying. Hopefully, today she doesn't realise that I'm not being honest with her
"Kehlani, please be honest with me."
"Okay, mum." I sighed. "Why doesn't dad like me and Kaiden?"
"No, baby don't say that. He loves you and Kaiden." She breathed out
"No, he doesn't mum. He's always a dick. You wanted me to be honest with you. Now please be honest with me mum." I muttered sadly
"Baby, if you want I'll sort everything out with Max, and you and Kaiden, can move to Grandma's for a little while." She said while her eyes darted around the room
What is she hiding?
She's never hid something away from me before.
"I wanna go to our sister's before we go to Grandma's if that's okay with you," I stared warily
"Yeah okay, get dressed and I'll tell Kaiden and her." She gave me a fake smile
As I stared at her, I watched her turn around, smile at me then leave my room hurriedly.
I stared at the door for a while then realized that I needed to get ready so I quickly went into my bathroom and took a shower.
When I got out I thought about drying my hair but I decided not to and just put my hair into a ponytail
I put my matching bra set on from Victoria's Secret and then I changed into a black-and-white striped crop top, jeans and my Adidas Shoes. To top it all of I sprayed myself with my Coconut Passion fragrance
I left my room hoping to find Kaiden and my mum downstairs waiting for me. Knowing I couldn't be trusted walking down the stairs because of my clumsy ass,I held on to the handrail like my life depended on it as I walked down the stairs.
"I'm fucking starving." I thought as my stomach rumbled loudly.
Maybe I should quickly dash to the kitchen and get an apple.

Oh, fuck it they can wait a little more
Since I enjoyed taking the piss, I slowly walked to the kitchen with an ear-splitting grin on my face.
"Kehlani hurry the fuck up!" Kaiden bellowed
"2 seconds!" I laughed
I reached for an apple when I heard footsteps behind me. So I swivelled around and was met with my dad staring at me in disgust
"D-Dad, are you okay?" I muttered dejectedly while a million thoughts ran through my head of what I did for him to look at me like that
"Shut up" He sneered
I averted my gaze to the floor and left the kitchen while biting my apple.
"What took you so long." Kaiden groaned
"Oh, shut up you fat oaf." I cackled
"I thought you guys were 20, not 6." Mum chided
"Sorry mum" We replied simultaneously
"Let's go guys." She smiled
We left our house and piled into mum's Range Rover
"Kaiden you called shotgun so let me connect to the Bluetooth please." I insisted.
"Fine" he agreed "No shit tunes though" he demanded.
"Yeah okay" I reassured

20 minutes later.
"Guys come on we're here." my mum mumbled
My ears perked up at what she said and I hurriedly left the car hoping to find my sister in her living room
"Kehlani, wait for me! You don't have the key." Mum declared.
Oh right.
I totally forgot about that
"Fucking weirdo." Kaiden laughed as he came and stood next to me with mum trailing behind him.
"Ah sorry, mum" I rubbed my neck sheepishly.
"Come on, kids lets go" I entered after my mum and Kaiden entered after me.
I quickly took a glance at the person in the living room and contemplated whether I should jump on them.

I ran to her and jumped on her and we both went flying into the couch.
I laughed like a hyena while she kept mumbling how I got crazier every time she saw me
"Get off me doofus" she pushed at me and rubbed her head.
"Okay, as lo-" I chortled and stood up.
"Kaide, Lani don't give Grace any problems okay?" Mum cut off, her voice stern.
"It's fine Bryley I'm sure they'll be superb, plus they're only staying for a day or two right?" She stated with a warm smile on her face
"Yeah, It's getting kind of late so I have to go but I love you guys and I'll call you soon." Mum looked at the digits displayed on her phone.
"We love you too ma." Grace enveloped all of us in a group hug.
"Bye." Mum exited through the door hurriedly.
"So guys I'm in the mood for going out later for dinner you guys wanna come?" Grace questioned.
"Yeah, I'm down." Kaiden agreed.
"Sure I'll go what time?" I approved. As if I'd ever turn down food.
"8. Kaide your room is first on left and Lani yours is second on left, you've both got an en-suite." she clarified.
We both left and went to our respective rooms. I had a nap for a while since I was knackered because of my lack of sleep.
