1 Damn Psycho

It's been three days since Patricia Smith had George under her custody. She was an undercover agent where in, she had to capture out the most wanted serial killer of District 2 Cardora City named George Timothy Esteban. According to the recent information that was given to her, George already killed hundreds of people while only twenty survived.

He was difficult to catch up since he was skillful in terms of fighting not to mention that he was only using knives in killing. Many were surprised with his talent but couldn't deny the fear of his existence. The reason why many also had wished to assassinate him.

"Be thankful that you're here. If I were you, I would never try to escape from this place," Patricia said while eyeing the man laying down in front of her. Both arms and feet were tied up with thick rope. To ensure that George wouldn't able to escape, she also put a handcuff in his arm.

"So afraid that I would escape, huh? By the way, why I am here?" George asked.

"Because your life is in trouble. If we send you in jail because of the crime you did, I'm sure that you are dead meat by now because countless number of people want your head," Patricia answered with a cold tone voice.

"That's impossible to happen. I managed to escape from thousands of bullets and thousands of sharp knives that's why I also had a hundred percent of assurance that I would able to survive from this so-called safe but hell place."

"Shut your fucking mouth, you fucking psycho!"

Patricia gripped his neck and positioned his head slightly upward to whisper, "How many innocent people you murdered and wanted to murder just to satisfy your lust in killing and seeing blood?"

"Now that you mention that, I will stop murdering people if I had murder you all," George said with a teasing smile.

"Asshole! I really want to kick your face 'til you die!"

Patricia gave him a full of power kick and one punch on his cheek. Small spot of blood appeared on the upper left side of his lips where George licked that blood and spat it out in her direction but not enough to land on her body. Patricia just raised her middle finger to salute the psycho in front of her.

She had to admit that she was full of anger seeing the presence of the psycho because she was against to his crime. In her twenty-two years of living, she already understood how important the life was. That belief arose too after witnessing her sister's death.

They were both walking down the street that time to go back home from whole day of trading vegetables and fruits in exchange for money when group of guys blocked their way. Those guys stole the money from their whole day of hardships plus, the dignity and virginity they were treasured the most. Her big sister created a plan for her to escape and ensure her safety. Yes, her sister succeeded to put her in good condition but in return, her sister couldn't get the chance to save herself.

She got killed by those guys but thanks to George who were currently patrolling on the area that made those guys in a death row. Since he was a certified psycho, at the age of fifteen, Patricia had already taste the sight of violence and bloody murder which brought a remarkable memory in her. Even the blood of those guys that spluttered all over her clothes and turned her like she was a kid who overjoyed the pour of red rain drops to her petit body, were still clear in her mind.

While George was busy in butchering the body of those guys, she took the lead to escape from the place.

Patricia marched out the room when she got a phone call. She answered it when she already outside.

"Hey, what's up?" she started.

"Patricia, what do you think you are doing now? Why did you hide that criminal in your place? Don't tell me that you are being contaminated with an infectious disease that cause people to have a drive in killing?"

"Stop the bullshit joke, Robert."

Robert laughed from the other line.

"Just kidding. Be easy, Pat." Robert voice went back in a serious tone. "What now?"

"Many people want to kill George. If we put him in jail, I assure you that he will get killed sooner or later."

"You think?"

"Yeah. Probably. I had to make sure first that he will be safe as he stay in jail."

"What reason why you had to make sure his safety? Is he important to you? Are you both a secret lover?"

"Fuck you! Not a chance! I want him to stay alive because I want him to suffer in long term. Killing him and be killed right away wouldn't enough payment for his crime."

"If you said so. I just thought that George is someone special to you since he was in the same place where you lived with your big sister years ago."

Patricia became speechless from what did Robert told her. It was true that some side of her was being thankful to George because if not with him, maybe she was dead too like her sister. If that happen, maybe her big sister would feel sad because her sacrifice to save her turned into trash. She wanted to make George safe as a payment for his interruption that time or for saving her even though she wasn't sure that it was really his way to help her or just her luck where destiny sent him in that place to murder those bad guys.

She took a deep sigh. Whatever the reason, it might be a voluntary help, intentional or coincidence, she wanted to give her thanks to George in a simple way. She knew that it was a crazy thought but, she just pleased that she still given a chance to live and be a part of District 2 CC Secret Agent company, became a top rank agent, blessed with high salaries, being rewarded with one condominium unit plus a new car model of Bugatti La Voiture Noire which cost about 18. 68 US dollar for her exemplary performance. That was a bunch of thanks to George.

"Patricia, are you still there?"

"Yes, I'm here. Robert, please made this talk only between our two. Don't tell it too early that I have George. You are my friend in the industry that's why I trusted you and told you about it."

"Okay, okay. A piece of advice from your friend, be careful from people connected to him or from people who want him dead, also, be careful specially to him because you know, he is a psycho."

"Yes, noted. Be reminded that I am an exceptional agent that's why I can handle that stupid and demon psycho."

"Be careful with your heart, skillful agent," Robert teased.

"Fuck you, Robert."

Before she could hear the ear-splitting laugh of Robert, she immediately ended the phone call.
