37 Awakening

Rei was jumping in joy as she found some bicycles which could be used for transportation after all they had no idea how to fix cars to make them work again after the EMP blast so finding another transportation vehicle was good.

"Hey! Guys look there are bicycles here!" Rei exclaimed while pointing in the direction of the bicycle shop.

"Oh that a good finde Rei we could use them to travel if we find the family members of others and clear a path and maybe even use some parts as weapons!" Saya said excitedly while thinking of all the possibilities.

"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

While the girls excitedly started going throughout the supermarket they heard multiple screams and decided to check it all out.

When they reached the place of the panicked screams they saw a big group of people and in the furniture section where the beds were placed. But everyone was looking in one direction and there stood Demolus who was holding two severed heads with blood dripping from them.

It would be surprising to see this but to them, it didn't really matter they saw worse before but something was strange they noticed Demolus eyes were different than before they had a bright ruby color different from the usual black-red one.

Demolus was barely holding on it seems he remembered how two older men approached Shizuka with lust in their eyes but when one of the men tried to touch her Demolus blacked out only for one second and he heard screams, he instinctively knew that what happened was his instinct taking over.

When he came to it he was already holding the heads of the two men he could feel his instincts running wild while standing in the ever-growing pool of blood with two headless bodies lying on the ground while one was missing an arm.

Everything happened fast but he noticed the three girls of their group who were searching the place, arrive here and looking at everything that while the group that resided in the supermarket were scared and screamed while starting to blame Asami for what happened.

Demolus heard a ding sound and tried to focus on what the system notification was saying when suddenly Shizuka hugged him to calm him down and started saying something but he couldn't hear her words he was trying to focus and calmed down and to his surprise, Shizuka's hug helped him calm down his instincts bit by bit.
