Twenty-one-year-old Catherine came to Bangladesh to pursue a course for her Ph.D. Her Father was a university teacher, he wanted to be a teacher himself. The subject Catherine was studying was Development Economics. To go to a university in a developing country for one year and do a thesis on the economic condition and dynamics of that country. Catherine chose Bangladesh. In 1986, at the moment of boarding the plane to Dhaka, Catherine had no idea that she would have a soul connection with the people of the country she was going to.

After coming to Bangladesh, Catherine accidentally met Ahmed Chafa. Catherine was impressed by the eloquence of this man of articulate and sharp intelligence. People around the room called Chafa's house a madhouse. Because all kinds of people are coming there all day long, eating and drinking, arguing, chatting - Catherine became a regular member of that crazy chat.

Catherine was born and raised in Chicago, USA. His family is very Benedi, a lot of history and traditions are connected with their family. Catherine's grandfather's father was a famous archeologist who discovered many artifacts of the Inca civilization in Peru, made expeditions to the bottomless rain forest of the Amazon.Indiana Jones movie is also made based on his life story. All the family members were highly educated. Some are professors, some are scientists, some are doctors - some are addicted to discovery and research. Catherine knew that she too had to focus on her studies, so she kept going. His Bangladesh chapter got in the way of the mission.

One day Ahmad Chafa introduced Catherine to a tall young man, saying, 'Catherine, meet my friend Tarek. He is a filmmaker.' Catherine shook her hands said 'Nice to meet you', she could not have imagined that day, the story of her life will be intertwined with this man named Tarek Masud, in the same way, she will fall in love with an unknown young man from the other side of Seven Seas and Thirteen Rivers by candidly all the feelings of her heart.

Catherine had a penchant for drawing since childhood. He used to draw himself. Tarek Masood was then making a documentary on legendary painter SM Sultan, titled Adam Surat. Today Dhaka, tomorrow Narail is running for that work. When Tarek Masud came to Dhaka, he met Catherine, the night wore on, the conversation started. Tarek Masood can cook very well, Catherine's fascination increases as she eats his hand-made dishes. Ahmad Chafa felt it a little. He got up from the chat with the excuse of this and that giving both of them a chance to know each other and understand each other.

However, due to the difference in culture, both of them get a little confused when the secret is revealed. It did not escape the attention of Ahmad Chafa. He makes fun of both. Tells Katherine, 'Do you know, Tarek really likes you!' And said to Tarek Masood, "Katherine is in love with you Mia, what kind of magic have you done!" Both shyly avoided the topic.
