A traditional house that was built during the warring period, where the samurai of Kamado clan once resided. It was then remodeled a bit.
It was a wide two-floored house with roofing made of clay and wood. Atop the roof were a few birds chirping as they basked in the morning sunlight.

There was an old man with long silver hair, wearing a orange haori with red flame-like patterns over it, watering the garden.
He was a tall and muscular old man with silver hair, wrinkled skin, sharp eyebrows and red colored eyes.
"It's time to wake up young master."
The old man muttered after he was done with watering the flowers. He then walked into the house.

In a room in the Kamado residence, a young boy who looked to be around the age of five, was peacefully sleeping in a futon.
At this time, the sliding door opened and a silver haired old man walked into the room.
The old man kneeled down next to the sleeping boy and gently shook him.
"Young master, it's time to wake up. It's morning."
"Hm?" The boy groggily open his eyes, feeling confused.
*Growl*
Suddenly the boy's stomach let out a growl, expressing his hunger.
"Haha." The old man laughed, feeling slightly amused.
"Please wash up, young master. I'll go prepare your breakfast." Said the old man as he walked out of the room, leaving the boy alone.
After a moment of silence, the young boy pinched his cheeks, causing him to wince a little from pain.
"It's not a dream. I've really been reborn just like Alficius-san said. And from the memories I just got, this world is vastly different from my old one. How do I put it…? The advancement of humanity and civilization is on an entire different level." The boy, no, the reborn Kamado Tanjiro muttered under his breath.
He got some memories, or rather he awakened his previous life memories just now.

As soon as he did so, the contents displayed on the blue light screen changed.

Suddenly, he heard footsteps coming towards the room he was in. Tanjiro turned towards the door to see a silver haired old man there.
"Juki-jiisan…" The, now young, Tanjiro muttered at the sight of the old man.
This silver haired old man was called Katakiri Juki, The reborn Tanjiro's caretaker, as far as he can remember.
His parents has mysteriously died, not long after Tanjiro was born. After his parents death, Katakiri Juki, who was supposedly a retainer of Tanjiro's late grandfather in this world, came to take care of the young Tanjiro, who was also the last of the Kamado clan.
*Growl*
The absent-minded Tanjiro didn't realise that his stomach was growling in hunger.
"What am I going to do with you?" Juki said helplessly as he saw Tanjiro who was still in his futon, absent-minded.
Juki went towards Tanjiro and picked him up, which startled the young boy.
Juki then went out of the room and walked towards the washroom with Tanjiro in his arms.

In the washroom.
The young Tanjiro looked at the mirror after washing up, with a serious expression.
On the top left of his forehead was a dim brown flame-like pattern. It was very similar to the 'Demon Slayer Mark' he had in his past life. Only, now his mark was a dim brown coloured, unlike in his previous life where it was dark red.
"I'll ask Juki-jiisan later about this mark. He'll probably know about this." Tanjiro thought as he walked out of the washroom.
When he went to the dining room, he saw Juki arranging the breakfast on the table.
"Juki-jiisan, what is this mark on my forehead? Does it have any significance?" Tanjiro asked.
"It's something special members of the Kamado clan possess, young master. The mark appeared on your father and grandfather as well. As for its significance, you'll learn about it when the time is right. But the mark itself is something that will help you in the future. So don't worry too much about it, young master." Juki calmly said.
'Is it similar to my previous life? There is too much I don't know about my circumstances in this world.' Tanjiro thought.
Juki noticed that Tanjiro was quiet and was rather calm, despite the mention of his father and grandfather, unlike his usual self.
'Is he still half-asleep?' Juki smiled as he casually dismissed his thoughts on the unusual behaviour of Tanjiro.
