12 New Hidden Mission and Rewards.
Serafall was patting Tanjiro's head, as if in an attempt to ease his discomfort. She put on a 'kind' look on her face, as she encouragingly said, "You'll definitely be able to find a way to cure Juki-chan☆."
Though she said that, personally she doesn't believe that Tanjiro will be able to find a way to save Juki. Even a miraculous healing item like Phenex's tears was rendered useless.
"Levia-tan, you're pretty bad at lying." Tanjiro stated with a wry smile.
"Moo… You're supposed to just accept my encouragement, instead of complaining☆."
Tanjiro patted her head and apologised in a gentle tone, "I'm sorry."
Though, because of this action...
"…." A strange silence ensued between them.
Tanjiro, realizing his subconscious action, immediately retrieved his hand.
Katakiri Juki, who saw the antics of the eccentric Satan, sighed.
"She made my innocent young master call her 'Levia-tan'. I can easily tell by looking at her face that, she's enjoying it every time young master calls her by that nickname." Juki thought.
"Although it's late, I'll be cooking some food now. Will you be staying for dinner, Leviathan-dono?" Juki asked Serafall.
"Sure☆. I'm pretty free right now☆."
Hearing the reply of Serafall, Juki just shrugged his shoulders and walked towards the kitchen.
"If only So-tan was also as comfortable with me as Tanjiro-chan…" Serafall thought as she stroked Tanjiro's hair gently.
But her presumption was quite wrong. The only reason why Tanjiro was calm with her skinship is because, his attention is now on his conversion with the system.
"System, can Dragon's Healing skill cure Juki-jiisan's condition?" Tanjiro asked in his mind.
[Of course. The skill "Dragon's Healing" outclasses every healing skills in your current world. As such it is possible to cure your caretaker. But, your caretaker's injury is from a monster from a world that is higher ranked than the world you reside in. Thus, healing it will be difficult even with the 'Dragon's Healing'. To completely heal your caretaker, the 'Dragon's Healing' skill must at least be at level 65.]
"I see. If I use all the Dragon Evolution Energy I currently have, how much level can the skill gain?"
[Only 7 levels. Right now the Dragon's Healing is at level 2. It is suggested that you train in the skill in its early levels. Only use Dragon Evolution Energy if your improvement in the skill is slowed down drastically.]
"… You said that my talent and potential increases with each advancement in Tier. Also the level of Dragon Evolution Energy also increases? So, if I advance to Tier 3, will it help with my training in this healing skill?"

Suddenly, Tanjiro felt something soft and bouncy, press on his head. Absent-mindedly raising his head, Serafall's smiling face came to his view. Turning his head slightly, his face came in contact with the things that were responsible for the soft bouncy feeling he felt.
Tanjiro hastily got away from her grasp with a flushed face.
"Too much skinship… I don't think she is supposed to be so comfortable with a man she just met. Maybe it's her childish nature?" Tanjiro mumbled in his mind, as he stared at Serafall with a troubled look.
Then, he unconsciously looked at his hands.
It was small and weak, just like a child's hands.

Tanjiro somewhat realised that he was overreacting. To Serafall, he was just a child, whom she found to be adorable. She found nothing wrong with this much skinship.
Depressed of his own situation, he dropped the matter and asked Serafall, "Levia-tan, do you know of any healing magic?"
"I don't specialize in healing magic, but I do know of some basic healing spells for emergency☆." Serafall answered after some thought.
"Can you demonstrate some of them to me? I just need to see them for reference." Tanjiro entered his 'Total Concentration' mode, eagerly waiting for Serafall to show her spells.
"…."

After dinner, Serafall left the Kamado residence.
Though, before leaving… Serafall made Tanjiro promise that he'll only call her 'Levia-tan'. To which he accepted. He didn't see anything wrong with it.
Katakiri Juki who witnessed this exchange, looked at Serafall with a strange look, which she effectively ignored.
After Serafall left…
Tanjiro had a blank expression, as he was lost in thought… Thinking of the healing spells demonstrated by Serafall. He did get a basic understanding of how the healing spells work in the Devil faction.
Katakiri Juki had a look of helplessness when he saw Tanjiro lost in thought. He knew that his young master's mind is filled with thoughts about curing his injury. He too didn't want to die before seeing Tanjiro fully grown up. But some things were just inevitable, no matter how they struggle.
"Young master, go to bed. It's already too late. You can think about other things at a later time." Juki said.
Tanjiro observed Juki's current physical condition, and only after that did he respond.
"Um. Good night, Juki-jiisan." Tanjiro said.
With that, Tanjiro walked towards his room.

"I'm quite close to advancing into Tier 3. It's about time I use that stat Enhancement Card I got a while back."
"System, will activating Stat Enhancement Card cause any major disturbance?" Tanjiro asked.
[None.]
"System, please activate the Stat Enhancement Card."
[Affirmative.]

Suddenly, a shining blue card appeared in front of him. Under Tanjiro's curious eyes, the card slowly sank into his body.
Tanjiro was expecting some sort of pain, but he didn't feel any. There was only a warm feeling. His body, mind and energy was undergoing drastic improvement.
Tanjiro could feel incredible power within him, yet it was still within his control.
He was sure that his stats have surpassed the value of 200, which is the maximum physical limit for a human.
According to the system, humans are the weakest among the supernatural factions when it comes to physical strength. Whether it was Strength or Agility, they couldn't surpass the stat value of 200, which is equivalent to the pinnacle stage mid-class devils. Though, there are various techniques that allows the physical limit to be surpassed temporarily.

"My mana… it's increased way too much. Thankfully I'm still able to control it." Muttered Tanjiro as he looked at the status screen, which had undergone some changes.

He remembered that the system tried to notify him of something, when he met Serafall. She was also the first devil that he has met, so he had a clear picture of what this quest was about.
Tanjiro clicked on the Quest option.

"Will I get anti-holy based rewards when I meet angels?"
After comparing the two hidden quests he has completed, Tanjiro noticed a certain pattern in the rewards.
"Humans have a stat limit which they cannot surpass easily, so the reward of Stat Enhancement Card was supposed to help with surpassing that limitation? Though I don't have such a limitation due to my Dragon legacy. As for the holy sword and Holy Light Construct Magic… they would assist me in fighting against Devils. Both the rewards are meant to assist me in different scenarios. If it's like this, the rewards I would get from the other similar hidden quests will also probably be the same." Tanjiro thought.
Regardless, he only had one thought now. That was to train his Dragon's Healing skill to level 65, as soon as possible.
