A new screen panel appeared in front of Tanjiro. Unlike the other blue ones, this screen showed a green land and a silver haired man who was inhumanly handsome.
"Hello, Kamado Tanjiro. I see that you're doing well." Said the silver haired man in the screen, startling Tanjiro.
"Al.. Alficius-san! Is this some sort of recording like the television, or are you talking directly to me?" The bewildered Tanjiro asked. He did know of the convenient electronic gadgets in this world. But he has never seen something like this.
"Hm? What are you so startled for?... Ah! Right! I forgot that video call is still not a thing at this time in the world you're in. Anyway, it's fine. I'm talking to you directly with the system as a medium. By the way, have you opened your system interface yet?" Alficius asked.
"Um… If you mean the 'system', then no. I just activated it." Tanjiro replied.
"Oh? That's great." Alficius seemed pleasantly surprised.
"… Is there any problem?" Tanjiro asked, seeing Alficius's surprised expression.
"It's not that. It's just that, your system is a very rare one and no one has gotten it for the past few million years. And it has this interesting function… well, you'll know it when you open the system." Alficius said with an amused smile.
"…" Tanjiro was speechless.
"Um.." Tanjiro looked like he wanted to say something, but Alficius cut him off.
"Don't mind me. I'm just here to see the system opening part. Just say 'Status Display' and the system will show its functions to you."

Tanjiro internally sighed, then stood upright and yelled, "System display!"
"You didn't have to yell, you know. You could just say it in your mind." Alficius said while sighing, which made Tanjiro somewhat embarrassed.

"Don't worry. Just say yes. In fact, I initiated the the video call, solely to witness this. There are plenty of Dragon legacies out there like the elemental Dragon kings, the Dragon of Apocalypse, the Eternal Wish-granting Dragon etc,. I'm truly curious as to what kind of Dragon legacy you'll get. Regardless of what you get, you'll be able to evolve it to higher stages with this system. "…" Hearing Alficius's words, Tanjiro went silent. This was simply beyond his scope of imagination. Wish-granting Dragon? Dragon of Apocalypse? Despite the awe-inspiring dangerous titles, he was speechless that he'll become something akin to a Dragon.
Tanjiro didn't really have any aversion towards becoming a Dragon. After all, in his past life, Dragons are seen as deities that humans fear and revere. At least, it was millions of times better than becoming a man eating demon, which he almost became right before his death in his previous life.
Looking at the blue screen, Tanjiro said his choice, "Yes."

In place of Tanjiro now was a long green serpentine creature about 9 Metres in length. It had frightening yellow eyes. It has pink lining on the mouth. It has yellow, linked, circular markings on its entire body. It had very sharp claws on the hands, very sharp teeth and a very powerful constrictor body.
"Grr?!" The green serpentine creature tried to talk, but only muffled beastly groan was heard. The creature then turned towards the screen showing Alficius.
Alficius looked very surprised.
"Rayquaza huh? I never even thought about the possibility. Well it is a Dragon. But I never expected him to get his Dragon Legacy from the Pokemon Verse. This has never happened before. How interesting…" Alficius looked very amused as he stared whilst smiling at Tanjiro, who is now in his 'Rayquaza' form.
"Don't stare at me like that. Just think of your human form and you'll revert back." Alficius said.
Tanjiro who heard this calmed his mind and thought of changing back to his human form. Then, just like Alficius had said, the green serpentine body slowly reverted back to the human form. Even his clothes were intact.
"I'm so glad. I don't know what I'd do if I stayed in that form forever." Tanjiro said, feeling relief.
"Still, you got something very fascinating, Kamado Tanjiro."
"Is there something wrong with this?" Tanjiro asked.
"No. In fact, you got a good one. Well, I'll explain some things to you now in place of the system. So listen well."
"..Yes"
Seeing Tanjiro nod his head, Alficius continued, "First of all, in your Dragon form, all your stats, except luck, are ten times your human form. Basically, you'll be at your strongest state in your Dragon form. But this of course, comes with some disadvantages. As you've seen your Dragon form, it is almost impossible to use your sword skills with a sword in that form."
"..." Tanjiro was silent. His strength mostly was his swordsmanship. Being stripped of it in his supposedly strongest state, he didn't know how to respond.
"Second, you don't have to worry too much. The Dragon Legacy you got is a very special one. In the genes of Rayquaza is countless abilities dormant. As long as you train hard, you'll be able to uncover those abilities. Just like your human form, your Dragon form is also in its juvenile stage. You'll surely get very strong as you grow older." Alficius said.

"And third. Young man, I'll just remind you this as a warning for the future. Don't try to change into your Dragon form while you're in the territory of other mythologies, until you at least reach Tier 4 in strength. Soon his expression becomes that of determination.
"But still, I'll definitely get strong enough to complete the task Alficius-san will ask of me. Then I'll be able to clear away my regrets from past life. Even if I cannot be with them… if I can save mother and my siblings and prevent Nezuko from becoming a Demon, then… all my efforts will be worth it."
