Lizzy didn't flinch, her mind was racing as she heard another gunshot. She threw the small little machine with a screen on her way. She ran with all her might up the stairs. Her heart still recovering from the sudden shock. She slipped and fell, hastily she stood up and entered a room. Looking odd and strange, she tried her hardest by locking the door behind her.

"Open the damn door Lizz!" She could hear the banging of the door. Sliding down she started shedding tears. Unable to understand her situation. "Lizzy!" Another banging was heard.

Raising her head she took a glance through the window as she noticed a shadow. Looking up and she met someone's blue eyes. Her eyes widened when the man smiled and brought his hands up pointing towards her. He held a gun. Lizzy hastily stood up trying to cover while still staying cautious of the man. "One more step and I'll pull the trigger!" He threatened. But lizzy didn't compel. One step and a gunshot was heard.

Lady sia snapped her eyes open, she woke up. She adjusted her eyes from the bright sun that brightened her whole room. Yawning and stretching she left for an early morning bath.

From the farthest end conner of the city 90 centuries ago, stood a young beautiful Lady, as gergeous as a rose, innocent like a little puppy. Short in height, skin having the color of the sun, bright skin, full red lips, and a dashing black hair. Lady sia, the last daughter of the Arnold family and generation, stood straight in front of her mirror brushing her hair elegantly while humming a song chirped by the birds.

"Milady? You have a guest." My personal maid Eve called out. Who could it be? I wasn't expecting anyone. "Okay I'll be down in a second."

She dropped the hair brush down, looking at her reflection in the mirror one more time just incase before moving out. breathing in and out before stepping in to the living room.

"Lady Sia." A well dressed man probably in his late twenties bowed down. As he rose up he's attractive face could be seen.

"My apologies, but I don't seem to remember who you are." I informed him as polite as I could. Not inviting troubles from my beloved and respected family.

"I am Sir Alastair. First and only Son of the wesley family." He introduced. Hmmmm Wesley? That name sure does sound familiar. I smiled and asked.

"What brought you here Sir Alastair? If I may ask." I smiled at him, already annoyed as I knew his response.

"Your hand in marriage" Ughhhh I turned to look at my parents, staring them with a questioning look.

"You need my parents concert for that Sir." I made an awkward smile and turned to them again.

"You have our word sir Alastair." My father concluded. Well that was fast. I turned to look at him again disagreeing with the sudden agreement.

"Father, if I may? Can I have a word with You also a word with Sir Alastair both in private" I inquired feeling uneasy about the sudden talk of marriage.

"Sia I have some work to attend to, But you are as free as a fly to talk to your husband-to-be." He said standing up and about to leave.

"But father just a minu__" I didn't get the chance to finish as father rose his hand demanding for silence. I looked at Sir Alastair before looking at my Father as he left the room. I stared down on my palms, looking for the little courage I have to have a 'talk' with him.

"Sir Alastair? Can I have a word with you?" I called out while he nodded his head, for respect he bowed his head before adding; "Yes you can Milady" I am already annoyed. I narrowed my eyes before saying. "Please! Call me Sia."

Sir Alastair looked up at me before smiling. "Anything you like...Sia"

"Milady?" Alastair approached when we stopped at the porch. I breathed in and out before looking up at him. "Who sent you?" I asked and a looked of confusion filled his pretty face.

"I like to be straight forward!" Folding my arms and shifting my weight to my left leg I stared at him. "If that's what you want to talk about then excuse me I have some important work to do." With that he sashayed away from me living my mouth agape.

Anger swirled over me. "It's this how I'm going to live forever?" Just then an idea popped in my head and I smiled.

In the Middle of the night, my maid blew the candles out and closed the door. I waited some minutes until I heard the sound of two doors closing. I took that as my lead and sneaked out tye window. I've already prepared everything including some water, loads of matches I stole from the kitchen and some food that could be eaten raw and cooked. Some light dresses made of silk. I stocked everything up in a sack, I only stocked some belt within it to make it look like a bag.

I landed down with a small thud and dusted my self up. I sneaked to father's room and dropped tye bag down. "Pardon me father! But I have to do this." I jumped through the window and took cover behind the wall. I peeped and rolled and stalked until I reached the box where father's savings were kept. Forgive this naughty daughter of yours father!

I ran like my life depended on it, looking back Incase someone would follow me. I successfully arrived at the little shelter I always saw when going to the market. The shelter was small but manageable. One wouldn't recognize it. I found it a day when one of the tomatoes I bought rolled over. I pepped in and dusted the area before settling down and taking a short sleep. "My journey can always continue tomorrow.

arley my best friend entered tye room I was in. Shock would be an understatement, I was left at a daze when she jumped through the window. I knew I couldn't pretend to be dead all the time so I stood up hastily and ran for a huge hug. I hugged her so tightly until she started coughing.

"Lizzy... I'm so glad you're still alive." She stated after I released her from my death hug. I smiled sadly and responded." Lucky would be an understatement Harley. I can't believe you had faith in me to the extent you risked your life." I started hitting her now angry at her.

"They would have shot you death the moment you're found around the area." She smiled and sat down on the floor. I did the same. "I know Lizzy. What I'm I without you. There's no way I would leave you behind... We have to leave here now!" She suddenly explained as if she just witnessed a ghost. I agreed and stood up with her. We both sneaked out of the building and blended with the dark.
