THE NEXT DAY
ARIEL'S POV
To be honest, I'm still reeling from the shock that Jason cursed out at someone, but i was very sure that it won't be for just any reason.
"Are you done preparing for school?!" I yelled out as I got out of the room, I wanted to go to the school and get things over with the parents, apologise and come back to memorizing my scripts.
Somewhere in my heart, I loved this job because being an actress has always been my dream, if not for Vincent's man hunt of me, and the fact i lay had to lay low, maybe i would have achieved it.
"Mom, I'm ready." I saw Jason come out all prepped up but with a downcast look on his face, I sighed within me, bending down to his height.
"Jason, cursing at someone isn't the best way to resolve a conflict, you could have just called your teacher's attention." I lectured, deep down I knew it is the Anna issue bugging him, as a mother, the only thing i wanted more than anything else in this world, is to see my dear son happy.
But why did it have to be a Dixon of all person's my son wants be friends with and not only that, she is the daughter of Mirabel too.
"It's okay mum, I understand." He forced a smile at me and walked towards the door going out while leaving me behind.
Sheesh, what an attitude!
The drive to the kindergarten was quiet more than usual as Jason just looked outside the window throughout and when I tried to start up a conversation he will only reply with a hum.
Arghh, my head is messing with me at the moment, should I just give up and let them be friends, it could benefit the mission too, but what if I doesn't? I don't want my son getting dragged into all of my mess, it's not going to be fair.
After we arrived, the same woman as of yesterday was there standing at the gate and immediately she saw me she shrunk in fear.
"Ma, the girl's parents are here." She announced and looked over my shoulder, "Ma'am you're meant to bring the child's father too." She inquired carefully, like she was scared to anger me.
I felt Jason hand that held onto me tighten and then I looked at him, it seemed to be an unconscious reaction, did the absence of a fatherly figure affect him this much?
"I-" The lie I tried to make up was cut off my mouth when i heard a familiar voice interrupt me.
"I'm so sorry I am late." Leo? What the hell is he doing here? I stared at him with question marks all over my face wondering what brought him to this country.
"Leo!" Jason face immediately brightened up and he rushed over to Leo hugging him, after he realized what he did, his face flushed red, such cuteness made me want to make more babies.
"Leo?" The woman echoed probably asking why the kid is referring he's so called father as Leo.
"I was sent by the Master to represent him, he's too busy to come." Leo explained taking the tone of a servant doing his boss work.
I just forced a smile at the woman as she finally let us pass the gate, directing us towards the headmaster office where the other child's parents were waiting.
----------------------------
"Leo, huh?" A voice said slowly like he was trying to imprint the name in his brain, the car window finally rolled down revealing Vincent's crossed face.
"Dad, aren't we getting down?" Anna bubbly voice sounded, "of course we are my love." He responded pinching her nose lightly.
"Stop that." Anna giggled slapping Vincent hands away, "Okay now princess time to go to school." And with that Vincent opened the car door sending Anna off.
He headed back to his car then paused his footsteps, it seems he had some discussion concerning Anna with the headmaster.

STILL ARIEL'S POV
I stared at the parents yelling about ridiculously, if the parents were like this I can figure out why Jason lashed out at their daughter.
"Your son has to kneel and apologize to our daughter." The husband said puffing his chest with pride.
I slipped my hands into my pocket filled with poisonous needles I took from home today, just in case an incident like yesterday wanted to repeat itself again.
Their daughter came to the front waiting for Jason to apologize, like as if I am letting my Jason kneel in front of anyone.
"See, I get what my boy did is wrong, but I have scolded him, and he's learnt his lesson, telling him to kneel and apologize does nothing at all but add to your daughter's pride, i believe you should first ask what led to such curse." I explained trying to be reasonable, I taught my son not to use violence as the answer I'm going to do the same.
'Says the woman who murders people for a living.' That tiny voice in my head said, she is right but that is not going to change the values I'm going to instill in my son.
"So you won't comply willingly?" The husband asked, "Grab three of them and make sure the boy kneel and apologize." He ordered the guards.
I felt like I wasn't hearing things clearly and turned to the headmaster but he pretended not to have heard anything that the man said.
It would have been great if it was just a joke, but the guards came and grabbed me Leo and Jason, my baby Jason!!!
How dare they! My fucking baby!! My eyes glistened with rage and I was ready to go on a murder spree when I got an eye signal from Leo.
He told me not to attack and that I should let them do as they please or I blow my cover, and he was right, how can a mere weak actress like me handle well trained bodyguards.
I watched as the men pushed Jason about, trying to force him to his knees, my blood boiled with rage, and i almost at the verge of tears, Fuck this job! I thought to myself, ready to break loose from the bodyguard hold, when a voice that made everyone pause their movements was heard.
"I'm sorry I came late, there was a bit of traffic." A cool and majestic voice sounded.
