"You… You liar! You said you weren't a Chosen One! I know there's something odd about you!" Sigmund stepped back, and readied himself to cast magic.
"I am not a Chosen One," Lycus said, his eyes still glowing, "I am-"
"Sigmund! There you are!" Ivory suddenly yelled through the attic's window, "Can you do me a favor? Please?"
The Vampire then raised his brow at Lycus.
His eyes stopped glowing. "We'll talk about it next time," Lycus said in a low voice, then walked away towards his rented cabin at the other side of the forest neighborhood.
Sigmund felt nervous because he was not ready. He was not able to sense his mana before, but all of a sudden, he had it, and it was the first time that the Vampire encountered something outrageous like this. Still confused, he decided to proceed to Ivory's bedroom. He saw her reading one of the reference scrolls.
