CHAPTER 1.......

Katrina Owens who dearly loved her father tragically lost him to an accident that made her so depressed to the point she hardly speaks or do anything for herself.And that got her mother so worried that made her decide to send her abroad.

When Trina heard of it,she pleaded.

"Mother,don't do this to me please,don't send me away from you,I can't stay a day without my love ones.I can't lose you".She sobs uncontrollably."You think I don't feel bad that I lost my husband too.I loved him but I didn't go into depression like you,I can't stand seeing you like this,you look.so lifeless.I hate it!!".Her mother,Chloe yelled.

Trina fell to her knee and hugged her mother's legs."I will change,please don't separate me from you,my fiance and....and friend.Cousin Vera say something to mother".Trina pleads sounding desperate while staring at her beautiful cousin with bright golden hair,sparkling brown eyes and perfect slender body with curves and edges.

"Aunt Chloe please reconsider your decision".Vera said.

"My decision is final!".Chloe snapped.

"WHY DO YOU HATE ME THIS MUCH!!!".Trina roared and fled tearfully to her room,slamming the door shut.

"I will go talk to her,Aunt".Vera volunteers.

"You better".Chloe watched as Vera nods and head towards Trina's room.

Vera leans against the door with her hands folded beneath her breast with her lips pulled into a smirk on seeing Trina tearing up as she arranged her belongings into her luggage.

Trina whirled,noticing someone's presence."Cousin Vera".

"Don't ever speak my pretty name out of that dirty mouth of yours".She heard Vera say.

Trina eyes widens on hearing the sweet,kind Vera utter such scornful words.

Trina chuckles."I should have listened to Gowon when she told me that you aren't what you seems to be".

"Now you know".She sneered."what can you do about it".Asked Vera."Just watch as everyone you love will be snatched away from you".She laughs and walk away.

THE NEXT DAY...

Trina and her fiance Aiden,an average fair and handsome boy with inky hair and bright amber eyes.

Aiden placed his hand on her shoulder and gave her a charming smile."Am sure Aunt Chloe has a lot to take care of that's why she didn't come along".He said.

"Aww,this cute boyfriend of mine is so sweet trying to make excuses for that old mother of mine".

"First of all,Chloe isn't that bad and secondly am your fiance not boyfriend".He corrected.She giggles and took his face in her palm.

"My fiance,your happy right?".She asked.

Aiden heaved a sigh and wrapped his hands around her waist bringing her closer to him."I will miss you while you're gone".

"If only I didn't become somber about dad's death-".He silence her by placing his fore finger on her lips.

"It's never your fault,you're just eighteen and losing a love one who was closest to you is really hard to take".

Her lips pathed into a sad smile.'What did I ever do to deserve someone like you?".She hooks her hand around his waist and looked up beaming."I love you so much Aiden".

"I love you too and I can't wait for you to be my wife so recover quick".He instantly sealed her mouth with his.
