Newly Weds

He drove straight to Tania's office, she was probably done with the her session that day. When he got there he heard the sound of things breaking and hurriedly opened the door to see Tania furiously throwing the things on the table in tears.

Ian assumed that she had heard the news and attempted to hug her but she pushed him away and started hitting his chest with her balled fists, he stood there without any hesitation and let her pour out her anger.

"You're a liar! You told me you'll stay with me forever but you were actually going to get married to another girl! "She yelled and Ian grabbed her wrists and kissed her passionately. He pulled from her and she kept breathing hard.

"I don't love her and just like you I found out today now I have to choose between you and my mom and I'm confused,"

" Your mom planned all this? "

"Yes, "

"I wish I knew that was why she called to tell me about your marriage and that your wife wants me to work with you for two months until my payment is due, "

"She what? "

"We need to think of something Ian like a pregnancy or anything, we should leave city and -"

"My mom threatened to kill herself! If I don't marry her Tania,I have just a few days left until I'm no longer single,"

"Huh? "

"You heard me right, " he said, running his hands through his black hair and trying to think of a way out, an idea suddenly popped in and he turned to look at her.

"I can't promise you that I'll leave her but she gave you two months right? "

" Yes, "

"We won't breakup infact we'll keep dating. After two months I'll file for a divorce or we'll frame her up for infidelity. I can also make sure that she runs away herself. I know you don't want to be the mistress but -"

"It's perfect, " she said, hugging him. Even if she was going to be a mistress it was better than losing him. She was so pleased to hear those words from his lips atleast she was now assured that their chemistry wasn't a total abomination.

Ivy took another deep breath as she examined her look on the mirror, she wore a plain wedding dress coupled with a red bouquet with blended with her red lipstick. Her large blue eyes were filled with worries but the smiles she got from the kids yesterday made her chin up a little.

The orphanage organised her last birthday party which was also her farewell gift. The tears and smiles from the kids before leaving gave a little hope even if she knew that her 'marriage' was going to be similar to swimming in hot larva. She was only going to do it for Bea's happiness after all.

Ian walked into the church with a loosed collar and no tie, he didn't look like he was getting married that day instead he looked like he was going on some sort of romantic self-date.

He opened the door to see the priest, his mom, uncle, aunt along with his cousin - Jacob. He frowned at each of them but seeing Ivy made him weak in his knees. She was so beautiful his jaw dropped a little but he snapped back to reality and stood in front of her even if he was late.

This wasn't Ivy's dream wedding but she was finally in the middle of the ocean and getting married to him was the only ship available.

"We are gathered today-"

"Go straight to the question," Ian snapped, cutting off his priest and Bea clenched her fists. Ivy took another breath, this definitely wasn't the dream wedding of any girl on Earth or any planet. Where was the part of holding each other's hands and staring deeply into each other's eyes, well it was her fault for not getting married out of the reason 90 percent of humans and other living things got married - Love.

The wedding was concluded and in a few minutes both parties were wearing rings in their fingers. Ian attempted to leave but Bea forced him to stay back and take Ivy to their new home.

Ivy embraced each and every single soul that attended the wedding to give her hope that she could survive in a room filled with toxic gas.

They both got into the backseat of the vehicle and Ivy waved at the guests who were grinning from ear to ear. Finally, there was hope for Ian even if they had fear stored in their hearts as they hoped continuously that they wouldn't be attending a funeral in a couple of months.

The car started and Ivy devoted her attention to the car window giving Ian a chance to steal a couple of glances from her,his heart beat was ten times faster and he couldn't understand why he was feeling that way. She looked sad and he surprisingly get guilty that he was the reason for her facial expression.

After a couple of hours, the car finally pulled in front of Ian's chateau and Ivy came out. The security guards diligently took out her luggage after greeting her and Ian came out with eagerness to see Ivy's next move.

Ivy bent down, took off her heels and veil, she raised her dress up and walked inside. Ian's mouth parted, she was probably use to seeing expensive buildings which was why she didn't gawk or gape at the chateau. The carpet grass was soft and she excitedly walked on it.

Ian's house was situated in a natural scene filled with huge trees, marble rocks,a large clear lake, a sweet courtyard plus a garden loaded with delightful flowers and ornamental blessings. This was similar to the orphanage and the funny hedge sculptors and sculptors was really worth seeing, there was even a small water fountain and tons of gardeners were outside and they didn't hesitate to greet and the newly Weds. She thought about all the things she could paint here and the melodies she could write. As long as her favourite things were here, Ian should bring his so called heat on.
