BEAST:
Beast come in all forms and sized. Big as mountains or small as sand corns, aggressive or tame, ugly or beautiful, hard or soft, mysterious or plain. But one thing is for sure, that it can be your greatest ally or your worst enemy. So inform yourself about all the various kinds of beasts and maybe discover new kinds along the way.
During spring they are more aggressive than usual as mating season is in late spring and they need more nutrients to lay eggs. The eggs are yellow in color and are not bigger than a sand corn and will hatch in mid-summer were the temperature is at its peak. Pirakulars have a life expectancy of 6 years and will be able to mate after one year of hatching.
Beast can gain affinities if they are turning into an Alpha. Natural born alphas are stronger. Mutations can occur when beast form their mana core indicating that they are in their growing phase. Normal beasts get 1-4 affinities that can variate from beast to beast. Affinities can be dominant in a beast as beast that life in water have almost always a water affinity or something similar, a poisonous beast always a poison affinity and so on. The more affinity doesn't mean it is stronger than beast with fewer affinities!
Dactori:
Dactori is a 1-10-meter-long lizard with feathers on his head and back. It also has three sharp claws on each foot, a long black tail with little nubs on it, and a poison gland. Dactoris come in all shapes and sizes. Primary blue, red, yellow, orange, green, and purple. There are also white and black ones, but those are extremely rare beast, which are almost every time an Alpha Dactori.
Those creatures live manly in small groups, ranging from 5-30 individuals. The biggest recorded pack of Dactori consisted of 60 Dactoris, among them 4 white Alpha Dactori and 7 black ones. Dactoris are protective and cunning beast, which is one reason why they are hunted and tamed for. Another reason is, that their feathers are pretty, and their meat is delicious. They live up to 100 years with enough food and Bergon Crystals.
Dactoris will form their mana core at the age of 6. They will mostly get an affinity corresponding to their color. Like red for fire, blue for water, green for wind and so one, but this is not always the case as some red Dactori were found that had an earth and wind affinity. But the poison affinity will always be formed, because a Dactori has a poison glance.
Once a year a mating ritual is being held in early spring. They flash their feathers to impress the females while hissing in rhythmic beat. Dactoris lay up to 10 eggs per year, and only straight numbers. The eggs shells color is random and is always the color of the Dactori that comes out of it. Each Dactori newborn will eat an unhatched egg to strengthen their body. So only the fastest few will survive. Those beasts have temporary territories where they build small nest out of leaves, branches, and dirt. Once a year in the winter will they migrate to find another suitable place. Why they migrate once a year is not known. One theory states that, in order to increase genetic diversity and mutation chance, they migrate to find other packs to swap members or join together.
Dactoris are highly sought for by beginner tamer, because of their poison attack. It is hard to catch one, because they rarely go hunting alone and are always on alert. But once tamed they will be highly royal to their owner and understand complex orders. One drawback is that they will not fight against their own kind even when the owner commands it. Dactiory have high deffence and attack but low speed and agility. They are the perfect guard lizard and means of transportation for short and rough distances. They can fight in long, mid, and short range, but are mainly short-range fighters.
Tipps for new Tamers:
Have your beast remember your smell by laying a sweaty clothing on his back for the night. Scratch his chin and back to bond with the Dactori but be careful they sometimes play bite you while you scratch the beast. You can train your Dactori by ordering him to hunt small birds with his poison attack to increase its accuracy. Another thing is to let it scratch and bite hard stones to sharpen its claws and teeth. Dactori need a lot of sunlight and company, so be mindful when choosing that beast. They tend to get lonely when being alone for a long time.

Flito
Flito are small plant like creatures that come out of the earth once a year to sunbath and reproduce. They are dark green and brown in color that has a humanoid shape, with a little flower and gem on their head. The color and shape of the flower differs from Flito to Flito, While the gem is red in color. The gem is actually a crystalized drop of nectar and is quite sweet. The brighter the flower pedals are the sweeter the gem.
They stay under the earth for most of their life and only come out once a year to reproduce in early spring. Flitos are genderless but mix their pollen with another of their kind to then lay up to 5 little green and brown eggs per Flito. From the eggs there hatch small grass looking creatures that can walk slowly. In their preadult form their only goal is to collect enough solar energy to morph into their adult form and walk away from their birthplace in groups of up to 2000. Flitos take 2 to 3 weeks to transform into adults.
Flitos could potentially kill a whole forest if they are not under control, because when they are under the earth they suck in minerals and water from the soil. That is one of the reasons a Flito hunt season is held around the world.
Hunting season starts on the 13th of Demeter, official begin of spring and named after the goddess of agriculture Demeter, and ends on the 9th of Prodes, named after an ancient king. In those few weeks all fighting cease to exist and everyone around the planet hunt and collect Flitos. To be more precise ,their Gem.
When they come out to exchange pollen, they all sing in harmony. The song is said to be calming and it´s speculated that those singing are cries for mercy. (AN: So during Flito season you can see a lot of hunters slaughtering Flitos while they sing for their life.)
Flito gems are used in backing sweets, making drinks, cooking and candy making. Those gems can´t rot or go bad. The oldest discovered Flito gem was in a sealed box from an ancient kingdom. It is estimated that that gem is 17.000 years old.
Tipps for new Tamers:
Flitos are not suitable for tamers as they don´t have any combat abilities and only live for one year.

Bohmer
Bohmers are small cuddly beast that are very friendly and very delicious. They breed like there is no tomorrow. Having up to 18 offspring per litter. Since the gestation period is approximately 30 days, a female Bohmer could give birth to a litter once a month or 12 times a year. That is up to 216 new Bohmers per year from a single female Bohmer.
Because of their friendly nature they are often eaten by wild beast and monster and is the main food source for many carnivores.
Bohmer meat is tender and juice. You could cook it in any way you like. Be it grilling, frying, steaming , smoking, or stewing. No matter how you cook it it will always be delicious. Bohmer is the food that is commonly served in taverns and pups with Brood Ale.
Tipps for new Cooks:
Put some Kridori nectar or any other kind of nectar on the meat before cooking it. The juiciness will definitely send you to heaven.

Tanndo
Tanndo is a 1-meter big green bird with yellow eyes and a brown beak. Tanndos have a affinities to wind, song, melody, and rhythm. It likes to sing with other people. Tanndos singing always contain traces of magic. Depending on the mood of the bird it can calm, excite, scare or angry you. The green beast bird lives in small groups of 10 on build small nests.
An Alpha Tannado is usually the biggest one in the group and can grow up to 2 meters big and has silver feathers on its chest. Tanndos are immune to each other's singing magic. They manly use AOE spells to immobilize, drive out or kill enemies or intruders.
Their mating ritual considers of 2 male Tanndos sing-battling each other to impress the female. So during their mating season it can get very loud.
They lay 4-5 eggs per year. The eggs are green with rainbow colored music notes on it. They live up to 30 years.
Tipps for new Tamers:
Tanndo should be freely flying around from time. And during fights command it to only target the enemies every time as it will forget it. Tanndos have birdbrains. If you are good in whistling you can bond with your tamed Tanndo much quicker as it will see you as an singing partner.

Seadrud
Seadruds are 30cm long birds with feathers that can change its color depending on the color around them. In the morning and evening they will turn red, orange or yellow depending on the sun rays. During the day they will be various shades of blue and during night pitch black or purple. They fly together in large groups and hunt for seafood. They have excellent eyesight and smell and can detect danger and storms. Fisher like to tame Seadruds because of their danger sense.
Seadruds lay their eggs in water during winter. Their eggs are bright yellow and coated in toxin. During spring the Seadruds will search for their eggs and carry them on shore were the young can hatch. Seadruds can breathe underwater and their feathers are water repellent. They are quite friendly to humans and alike but will attack you with water blast when provoked.
Tipps for new Tamers:
Get yourself a Seadrud if you like to be on the open sea and be a pirate!!!

Chandra
Chandra is a 3-meter-long and 2-meter-high bird. It has a wingspan of 4 meters but can´t fly but can run faster than an arrow with its muscular legs and can glide long distances. They are herbivores and only fight when they don´t have another option, but don't be fouled by their scared behavior as they have a sharp beak and wind affinity which they are quite proficient at. Male Chandras normally live alone whereas the female live in groups of 4 to 8. Only one male Chandraa will mate with one group per flock. So as to have as much mating potential as possible male Chandras will kill each other on sight.
Chandras lay on average 4 eggs per year and carry those eggs on their belly for 2 months till they hatch. They have small pockets on their belly to carry them. Other female Chandras often help each other by transporting eggs if one can´t carry all of them. The male to female ratio by Chandras is 1 to 5. So for every male Chandra there are 5 females Chandras.
After one year of siting their young they will all search for a high mountain where they all jump down and glide in different directions. The female will stay in groups whereas the male will try to glide as far from each other as they can to avoid competition. They live 5 to 10 years.
Tipps for new cooks:
Chandras are delicious when fried or grilled but will taste horrible when cocked with water.

Pirakular
Pirakulars are beast that live in freshwater lakes, rivers, and seas. They are up to 30-centimeter-long and have razor sharp teeth to kill their prey. They have large plantings on their bodies for extra defense and are resistant against slash and pierce damage. Those beasts live in large groups up to 50 individuals and are highly aggressive and territorial but will flee if the prey is to strong as they have high intelligent.
There main hunting tactic is circling around their prey till the most daring one attacks. Signaling the others on how dangerous the prey is. When the prey is more than they could handle the will retread but if the prey is weak they while attack in quick succession and bite off small pieces of the target and retread
They have a water affinity as most beast living under or in water. They use water magic that allows them to swim faster. They are swift having medium defense and are dangerous to anyone unlucky enough to end up hunted by them.
Tipps:
Pirakulars are tamable, but it is incredibly dangerous and not many tame them as they can only survive in freshwater. But they are incredibly delicious and are often hunted and eaten as a delicase. They can be easily killed by impaling their head as they don't have plantings on their head.

Bergon Crystal
Bergon Crystals are purple crystals, that are formed when large amounts of toxin and mana is in the ground. It can be used for poison, jewelry, decoration, and to lure in beast that have a poison glance or affinity. Found naturally in swamps, forests, or deep underground, but can also be discovered after prolonged mage battles that used toxin, poison, or corrosion spells.

Memory Crystal
A Memory Crystal is a White triangular crystal that grow on the forehead of Trikis to project images to lure or scare prey and enemies. When harvested could turn into a Memory Crystal to record something.
The length of the recording time and quality is dependent on the purity and shape of the device. The bigger and clearer the longer and better the recording.
