5 Chapter 4

Joohyun hummed as she pulled her hair into a quick braid, her glasses framing her face perfectly. She stared into the mirror and sighed a bit. She looked like a child with round frames and a white dress. She glanced at her phone and contemplated texting someone for help. After a few seconds, Joohyun grabbed her phone and sent a text.

"Hey! Good morning. Are you free?"

She paced around the room as she waited for a reply, she had already placed a bunch of clothes out on her bed, some of them colorful and some of them just neutral. A small buzz was heard on her vanity. Joohyun grabbed the phone immediately and replied to the short message:

"Yes. You need me?"

"I need help with figuring out what to wear today."

Joohyun smiled when she got a quick answer.

"Wear your favorite color and just ignore everyone else."

Joohyun hummed as she placed her phone down. She walked to the bed and grabbed a pair of denim jeans and a white tank top. She then started putting back the rest of her clothes into the closet. As she was putting away her clothes, she saw the purple hoodie that Sehun gave her a week ago. She wondered how he was handling things there. She should probably text him. Joohyun grabbed her phone and sent a text to the King of the Underworld himself.

"Good morning Sehun! Remember to eat breakfast before you go to work. Tell Cerberus, I love him soooo much."

After a few seconds, she got a reply as she was slipping on her clothes, finishing off her look with the purple hoodie.

"Good morning, dear. Yes. Cerberus misses you."

It seemed like Sehun was typing more, but then he stopped. Joohyun smiled at the message before she sent him a picture of her outfit with the caption: Loving This.

Joohyun grabbed her backpack before she started to walk out of catch the bus. She hummed softly as she listened to her music. Tomorrow was her exam and she had to finish it before she had a week break. The studious girl she was, she studied for hours every day and Sehun could vouch for that. They would call every night around 8 pm and work together until either one falls asleep or they fall asleep together. Sehun had grown used to the girl's voice and laughter every day that he would unconsciously check his phone whenever he got a notification. After nights of fighting himself on whether or not he should keep the girl around, he couldn't leave her. He decided there was nothing wrong with having her around as a friend. The king of the underworld had one weakness and she was his opposite. A folder landed on his desk, taking his mind off of the girl for a moment. He picked it up and glanced at his secretary. "What is this?"

"Sir. Someone got a picture of you and was about to release it. It looked intimate so I wanted to tell you first so we could handle it." Sehun frowned as he opened the folder. He felt anger erupt in his chest as he saw the article title and the associated picture of him and a familiar goddess.

"Who is this mysterious social climber? Leaving the home of the most sought after bachelor."

"Who the fuck dared to get on my property and slander Joohyun? He looked at his secretary and took a sharp inhale. "I want you to destroy this picture and make sure that no one ever sees this article." His secretary bowed his head and walked out of the office to handle his duties. Sehun was angry. He prayed for the man that wrote the article and captured the picture. Sehun picked up his phone and called a number. After a few rings, a female voice picked up.

"It has been a while boss. Is there a job that needs to be done? Someone that needs to be killed? Tortured?"

Sehun gripped his phone tightly before he answered. "Tisiphone... or do you go by Yeeun now." He said as he typed up an email on his computer.

"Yeeun you dick. Now, what is up, Hades?"

"I have a new hit for you. I want him. You can rough him up. All three of you can actually." With that Sehun hung up as he sent her an email with the information on their target. Yeeun looked at her two sisters, Seungyeon and Yujin, and smirked as she stood up and stretched as soon as she got the email. The 3 furies looked at each other as their wings sprouted on their backs. They worked for Sehun and happily did his dirty work. Not that he didn't have other men, it was just the 3 furies were fast and far more sadistic.

45 minutes prior.

Minthe looked at Sehun's secretary as he walked into the doors of Sehun's office. She stood up and walked over to his office and slipped inside. What was it that got Johnny so anxious to show Sehun? There was nothing wrong with the company that she has heard of and she is always in the loop for her honey. She sat down at his computer and gasped as she saw a particular picture. Her honey walking a bitch out of his house. How dare she use her man like that. She looked over at the printer and smirked as she printed out the article over and walked back to her desk. She scanned the image and sent it to a tabloid company who likes to post scandals no matter who it was about. There. Whoever the girl was, her life is now tainted as a gold digger. Sehun would no longer have to deal with the bitch and focus on just her. Jessica hummed to herself as she stood up, fixed her blouse to show her cleavage a bit more. She walked into Sehun's office and saw that he was staring at the picture intently. Feeling anger rise in her, she quickly walked over and kept her emotions in control. "Hunnie! We should go eat dinner together today." Sehun stood up and grabbed his blazer and walked past her without giving her a glance. He needed to make sure that there was no one following Joohyun. Jessica gasped as she followed him to have the elevator door close in front of her face. This was the first time that he ignored her like that. Yes, he was cold, but he never blatantly ignored her like that.

Sehun walked to his car as he texted Joohyun, wanting to know where she was. Joohyun looked at her phone flashing as she was studying in the University library. She opened the message as an immediate smile appeared on her face. She started to text the male back, asking if he had a great day at work. Sehun smiled slightly at the message before he asked for her location. Joohyun didn't think much about it as she simply replied that she was in at the library at her university. Thankfully, Sehun knew the place because he used to go to school at Olympus University. He drove without a second of doubt, passing by the gates to the underworld in which only he and a few others are able to come and leave as they wished.

A few moments later, Sehun was outside of the library, leaning against one of the columns. His brother was one of the backers to the school for all their funding so it was pretty annoying when he made the library look exactly like Athena's Parthenon like doesn't the girl already have everything? Sehun rolled his eyes before he went on to call the little goddess to join him.

Joohyun squealed softly as she received a phone call. Her phone played a soft tune, causing people in the library to turn and shush her. Joohyun bowed her head as an apology before she picked up and started to pack up her bag. "Hello? Sehun?" She says softly as she cleaned. A deeper voice from the other line answered her.

"Hey, Joohyun. I am outside the library. I will wait for you." A soft gasp escaped Joohyun's lips as she quickly packed up and ran outside.

"I am coming!" She says as she did her best to hurry down the stairs. A soft giggle escaped her lips as she saw Sehun's back as she reached the front. She hung up on the male and skipped over to him. "Look who is here!"
