18 Silver wolf – Thunder wolf!

After Murong's group separated into two teams, it did not take a lot of time until Murong's team eventually found one of the plants that they were looking for. The beautiful but yet deadly to the wolf flower. Murong reached out his hand to pick all of them in the area into his space ring before they moved on to find more of those plants.

"These are Wolfbanes," Murong said. "They have a certain corrosive effect on the wolf," he explained to Huilong and Yilin when they walked to another area to find another main plant, Moonwort.

From what Murong recalled, Moonwort usually liked shade areas with high humidity. So, they moved closer to the water source nearby and searched the ground that was located under the shadow of the big trees. And there, they found those Moonwort plants. They were all here…

Murong's team then helped each other digging up these fern-like plants from the ground and washed them with the water from the pond. Not long, they got enough of these plants to make a certain amount of potion. Then, they decided to go back to meet with Chen Fang and Chen Dawei.

On another side, Chen Fang and Chen Dawei couple's situation was not much different than Murong's situation. They got these plants that they were searching for. These plants were, fortunately, very easy to find. Only 30 minutes passed; they had already found a bunch of them.

"What are the next steps?" Chen Fang intriguingly asked after he and Dawei regrouped with Murong's team.

Murong laughed and said, "Making potion, of course."

"So, you know alchemist techniques? Are you, perhaps, an alchemist?" Chen Fang continuously asked.

"An alchemist?" Murong thought a little while and laughed, "Amateur alchemist, I guess."

"The real alchemist profession would be able to do much more than I did here. They would be able to enhance or modify the potion properties with their spiritual techniques. What we do here is only mixing the already toxic plants and use them," added Murong.

After Murong answered his uncle's question, they all went silent for a short period of time. Only the sound of cutting the plant roots, grinding the ingredients, and making potion could be heard.

When Murong finished mixing the Wolfbane and Moonwort together, they effectively made a total of nine full bottles of liquid potions. They then coated these potions on the silver bullets and waited for them to dry.

After the poisonous silver bullets were ready, Murong's group of five entered the area where they saw those ferocious wolves again.

This time they also made traps in various locations. Dawei volunteered to be the bait since they would like to carefully lure the wolf one by one or just a few of them simultaneously.

Fortunately, the wolves were distributed in several areas this time. Dawei approached them quietly. He intentionally made a little sound just to attract the wolves in the vicinity to follow him. When Murong and Chen Fang saw the wolves in their scopes, especially the silver wolf kind, they fired silver bullets without hesitation.

"Poof, poof, poof," the tranquil low sound of the bullets firing from the gun emerged. Both Dawei and Murong used silencers for their guns for the purpose of not attracting other wolves. However, despite the quiet sentence on the wolf, it was still super lethal.

If these bullets were common bullets, this kind of injury would not even affect a silver wolf that much, and it would have definitely gotten up again after encountered just a few shots. However, the bullets that they were using were not ordinary bullets. They were made from silver and smeared with the potion mixed from Wolfbane and Moonwort. They simply became the nemesis of the wolf lineage.

Once the bullet penetrated the wolf skin, the coating drug swiftly went along with the blood vessels and reached the targeted wolves' hearts. Abruptly, the unlucky wolves stopped moving and fell. Not to mention a cry for help sound, even a wailing sound could not be heard due to a subsequent headshot from Murong.

"So fast," Chen Fang whispered with a surprised look. He has never thought that the drug that Murong mixed would have such a strong effect. After a moment, the scary silver wolf completely lost its resistance.

Dawei was also surprised. He fully understood the strength of this silver wolf that was chasing him. It usually required a couple of bullets in critical positions to defeat one, but this silver wolf was defeated with just one silver bullet.

"It may be overkilled to use this bullet." Murong thought.

Seeing that this strategy worked out well, the three of them coordinated closely together and continuously hunted the remaining wolves. After each killing round, they would get a short break for Dawei to catch a breath.

For the first few rounds, these tactics ran smoothly until, in the third round, one of the wolves had a chance to howl, alerting other wolves in the area.

"Damn, I missed its following headshot," Murong interjected.

These wolves were always precarious from the intruders. When they heard the painful sound of their kins, they hurriedly responded with another howl. When those howls simultaneously echoed in the distance, Murong's group also saw several silver wolves and a large group of black wolves approaching and snarling.

However, they were very calm. In fact, they were ready. They aimed their guns and fired the bullets at those wolves. This time they did not even consider using silencers. They grabbed another gun when the shells on the first gun were out and fired immediately. What was the point of wasting time to put the silencer on since they all had already known we were here?

Of all these times, Huilong and Yilin actually hid in the bush not far from Murong's group. They thought it would be safer if those two were far from the wolves when Dawei lured them in. However, this became an unexpected mistake…

There was a big gold wolf standing on its four legs between Murong's team and Huilong's team. Huilong's and Yilin's bodies were full of dirt right now as a result of that close thunder spell attack.

The thunder wolf, which was closer to Huilong's group, let out a growl and rushed towards their direction.
