Alan remained calm as Zila had already informed him of this information earlier. He was just startled that Nie Li could guess the Giant Blue Armed Ape's cultivation through his roar.

The Spiritual grade Giant Blue Armed Ape flew to the top of the walls. It stared at Alan and his group with a ferocious expression.

Just as he was about to approach that tablet, the ground below them started sinking!

The two were soon falling into a bottomless pit. The bottom was completely dark, and it was impossible to see anything.

While they were falling, Alan quickly pulled a sword and thrust it into a wall nearby. His Soul Force was infused in that blade so even though the walls were very hard, the blade didn't break.

Ye Ziyun used that opportunity to take out a rope and hooked it onto the bulged area on the cliff. Both of them pulled this rope and managed to stop falling.

"…It would be hard to climb out using this rope. Let's check out what is there at the bottom," Alan suggested while holding Ye Ziyun's soft body by her waist.

The two started going down slowly by using the rope. Ye Ziyun blushed madly as she felt Alan tightly holding her waist.

The two stared into each other's eyes and were kissing before long. The two kissed another two times before they reached the ground.

Alan let Ye Ziyun go as he pulled out a torch from his interspatial ring.

There were five to six paths ahead of them.

There was a text on the stone wall on the side, "Emperor Kong Ming's resting place."

"Who is he?" Ye Ziyun asked.

Alan shrugged off, "Probably the Emperor of the Sacred Empire. Didn't think we would find his grave. I hope he was buried along with lots of treasures."

"There are five-six passages here, which one should we take?" Ye Ziyun asked, looking at the surrounding deep passages.

Zila informed Alan of this answer within his mind, 'Take the one on the right.'

Alan then spoke to Ye Ziyun, "We can only try them out one by one. My gut says we try this one." He pointed out that path to Ye Ziyun.

The two were soon on the move. They walked very carefully while checking out for traps.
