1 Celestial Immortal's Motive

Temporal Demon Spirit Book. It is a powerful and mysterious book capable of controlling Spacetime. It signified that this book held Space and Time abilities, making it one of the world's rarest and most powerful artifacts.

Within this book contained millions of books of all kinds. It possessed a wide variety of books on cultivation techniques, inscription patterns, alchemy techniques, ingredients, herbs, poisons, antidotes, and all sorts of other books.

This book was brought to the Draconic Ruins Realm by a severely wounded Supreme Expert. Before he died, this Supreme Expert tore apart the pages of the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. Nearly Eight Pages disappeared from the main book.

These Eight Pages were lost in the passage of time, while the book was found by another expert who later sealed it in the Desert Palace of the Tiny Realm.

Many experts gained insight through this book and reached the peak of the Draconic Ruins Realm. However, the Draconic Ruins Realm was by no means the peak of the universe!

There was another higher realm known as the Upper Heavens! The Temporal Demon Spirit Book originated from this Realm, and it was regarded as the top-grade artifact even in it.

At this moment, the creator of this Temporal Demon Spirit Book had raised chaos in the entire Upper Heavens! He was known as the Space-Time Immortal.

The Space-Time Immortal had slaughtered countless beings and stored innumerable skills and techniques within the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. All his secret techniques were also stored in this artifact.

The Space-Time Immortal lost this Temporal Demon Spirit Book as he fought against another Supreme Expert. The Temporal Demon Spirit Book fell into the hands of a rather low-ranked expert, who used the Spatial Techniques of the Temporal Demon Spirit Book to traverse to the Draconic Ruins Realm.

However, even after using the Temporal Demon Spirit Book, this expert had to endure the backlash of traveling to the Draconic Ruins Realm.

Going from a higher realm to a lower realm was much harder for the experts. This was because of the special barriers between these realms to prevent experts from higher realms from reaching the lower realms.

Their spiritual energy was also capped at the highest rank in that particular realm! This further limited their power!

This was why several Supreme Experts could fight that individual and defeat him! In any case, the upper realm was focused on finding the Space-Time Immortal. It would be disastrous if he created another artifact like the Temporal Demon Spirit Book!

However, finding his location in all of the spacetime was just too difficult. His abilities weren't limited to freezing time, but also reversing time!

Naturally, the Spiritual Gods of the Upper Heavens had their own time attribute artifacts that safeguarded them from the effects of the time attribute. This prevented the Space-Time Immortal from steamrolling them completely!

Still, the threat from the Space-Time Immortal was far too great. He had to be found quickly!

There was a Supreme Expert known as the Celestial Immortal who was also quite skilled in Spacetime. His abilities were a bit limited as compared to the Space-Time Immortal.

The Celestial Immortal wanted to find the Space-Time Immortal to gain all the secrets of the latter. But finding the Space-Time Immortal proved too difficult. Thus, the Celestial Immortal changed his approach and decided to look for the Temporal Demon Spirit Book.

This book contained all the Space-Time Immortal techniques and many other lost ancient techniques.

Even though it was difficult to travel to the lower realm, the Celestial Immortal possessed a secret technique that allowed him to spy on the lower realms.

After checking out many realms, he finally found the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. It seemed as though someone named Nie Li had found it and was fighting another expert by the title of Sage Emperor.

The Celestial Immortal witnessed Nie Li utilizing the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. Nie Li's blood fell on the Temporal Demon Spirit Book, and he became the book's master.

The Celestial Immortal frowned as he used another unique skill known as Clairvoyance. Through that skill, he saw Nie Li joining up with the Space-Time Immortal and turning the entire Upper Heavens upside down.

'I need to stop Nie Li and acquire the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. But I can't travel to the lower realms,' The Celestial Immortal thought.

After some time, he had an idea, 'I can choose someone from the lower realms to get the job down for me. It will be impossible for me to go to the lower realms, but it won't be too difficult to send an Artifact to the lower realms and use it to defeat this Nie Li guy and grab hold of the Temporal Demon Spirit Book.'

The Celestial Immortal used another unique skill to gaze into Nie Li's past. Nie Li's life opened up to him, and he got to know everything there was to know about Nie Li. His experiences, skills, personality, enemies, allies, and his greatest ambition!

'I see…He is a naïve brat with a huge arsenal of skills. His intelligence is somewhat low to moderate, so that's something I can take advantage of. I need a clever guy who can deal with this Nie Li despite the lack of information.'

The Celestial Immortal observed many lower realms and finally found the perfect guy for the job. This guy belonged to a realm known as Earth. He was merely 22 years old and was working as an associate in a law firm. He had a great understanding of the law and was skilled at reading people. He was also skilled at getting what he wanted and was a winner!

The more the Celestial Immortal observed this guy, the more he believed that this guy would be perfect for this job! He was skilled at reading people and intelligent enough to trap someone, and calm enough to not let his feelings affect his objective. He was so stubborn to win that he would go to any length to accomplish that. He was also a playboy and knew his way around women.

Manipulating women would be one way to beat Nie Li, so the Celestial Immortal was completely convinced.

Without any further ado, the Celestial Immortal dropped his Celestial Immortal Book on the Earth right in front of this man.

As this man saw this Celestial Immortal Book, he was filled with great curiosity and picked up the book to check out what it was.

As soon as he touched the book, the guy blanked out in the middle of the road.

A few seconds later, his spirit appeared in what appeared to be a blank space or known as Limbo!
